What is love?
1 Corinthians 13:4-7, Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

Psalm 118:23-24
This is the Lord’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day which the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Marvelous!!! I love that word. The Bible dictionary defines marvelous as to be surpassing, wonderful, and extraordinary.
The Lord’s doing-----God’s glory alone.
This has been ten days filled with many things. Seeing God at work, you being His hands, feet, and voice! Fun, joy, new experiences, new sights. And yes, even hardworking, intense and creative ways of sleeping on a bus.
Savor this 2023 Youth Choir Mission tour. Let the sights and songs linger. Rejoice and be glad this day. Praise God for the Lord’s doing ----the marvelous—ness in your eyes.
Thank you for giving to the Lord---there are lives that have been changed. Including yours.
Now what?
A thought on reentering “normal life” When you arrive home, allow time to decompress, rest and get back in the groove of things. Beware that after such an intense time you may experience a letdown feeling. This is normal.
-Don’t be fussy like Elijah in I Kings. He went from Slaying false gods, Running from a crazy woman named Jezebel To being pitiful sitting by a juniper bush and requested to die.
-So, what happens next? Basically, God gave him a nap,Fed him something to eat and he was good again.
-You may need the same things as Elijah. It’s ok. --Get a shower—eat something—and take a nap. Allow the Lord to refresh you-Prayerfully allow God to place the balance back in your life.
A special thanks to Rhonda Bradford for this “returning home” devotional thought.
