The Church at Shalimar- The Proposal for our new name was presented Monday, June 24th, to our Church Council by David Wildman of WildmanDesign. Mr. Wildman has consulted with our Church to help with the Council’s desire to develop a new name for our Church, to re-vision and renew. Mr. Wildman has also offered a new logo, color palettes, and website to move us back into the community to reach new people. Pastor Alan will host information and discussion meetings regarding the new proposed logo and name in the Chapel Conference Room on July 14th at 12:30 and 4 pm, July 16th at 4 and 6:30 pm, July 18th at 10 am, and July 21st at 4 pm. Our Church Council hopes that our Church Family will offer feedback to the Council and support this great effort as we follow God’s Spirit in revival and renewal. The next Church Council meeting will be held Monday, July 22nd at 6:30 and they wish to move forward on this proposal with input from the congregation. Please attend any one of those meetings listed above to provide feedback.
