The Percivals 2016 'Project Overview and Collateral'
The biennial festival, The Percivals, is North Queensland’s own portrait celebration, and grew from a single competition staged at Perc Tucker Regional Gallery in 2007. 2014 saw the most significant expansion of the project with the introduction of a photographic competition held at Pinnacles Gallery and comprehensive exhibition collateral development. 2016 saw The Percivals extend further the momentum created in 2014 with the introduction of Street Art Commissions, Paste-up projects, Lightbox Outdoor Exhibitions, People’s Percival, unique guest lectures and engaging city-wide public programs showcasing and celebrating portraiture in all its forms.
