Ford Farm House used to be part of a large farm with land extending throughout Whitwell. Some years ago the land and barns were sold off and we purchased our lovely home in 2008. Our comfortable guest room has an antique king-size French bed and is located on the first floor, in a quiet, self-contained area of the house, with its own lobby and private bathroom. From this room are wonderful views across the garden towards Whitwell village and Wroxall Downs. Our garden is a continuing, evolving project and guests are welcome to sit and enjoy its peaceful setting. We also have a large sitting room where guests can relax after a busy day visiting the Islands many attractions.
To make your stay more enjoyable, the room has colour TV with Freeview and DVD player built in, kettle, toaster, and microwave, silent-running fridge, radio alarm clock, hair dryer, free to use WiFi.
All that's missing is YOU!
At Ford Farm you will see a variety of birds that are frequent visitors to the garden, as well as rabbits, hares, foxes and badgers. Many of the plants and shrubs have been planted in order to encourage wildlife, such as butterflies, bees and small birds.
