I Lake Shore Observation Tower 2020

Observation tower situated along the picturesque Toronto lakeshore. Inspired by the concept of scaffolding, this unique structure is designed to evoke the visual aesthetic of scaffolding while ensuring stability and safety. It features a combination of vertical and diagonal steel supports that create an intricate lattice-like framework, giving the tower a distinct and contemporary appearance. The top floor, serving as the main lounge, is designed to be spacious and open, allowing for unobstructed views in all directions. Large windows and glass panels surround the lounge, creating a seamless connection between the interior and the exterior. The tower incorporates additional features such as observation decks at different levels, allowing people to explore different vantage points and enjoy diverse perspectives of the landscape. Thoughtful lighting design illuminates the tower at night, transforming it into a captivating landmark visible from afar.

II East York Affordable Housing 2021

The design project aims to address the issue of affordable housing in Toronto by proposing a unique approach. By creating small, easily scattered houses amidst the densely populated areas of the city, the project seeks to make housing more accessible and affordable. These compact yet thoughtfully designed homes offer a practical solution, allowing individuals and families to reside in desirable neighbourhoods without the burden of exorbitant costs. With their strategic placement, these affordable houses contribute to the diversification of housing options and promote a more inclusive and sustainable urban environment in Toronto. These affordable houses can be prefabricated using modular construction methods. This allows for rapid assembly and the potential to create clusters of 2, 4, 8, or 16 units, depending on the specific needs of the neighbourhood and available land.

Solar panels: 6 high-efficiency photovoltaic panels made of polycrystalline silicon cells with anti-reflective coatings, bypass diodes.

Balcony Gardens: The small garden areas provide residents with a green space to cultivate plants, herbs, and flowers, fostering a connection with nature and enhancing the overall livability of the homes.

Framing: 2x6 wood studs Insulation: Spray foam insulation. Sheathing: (OSB) exterior sheathing panels Vapour Barrier: Polyethylene sheet vapour barrier. Cladding: Vinyl siding Interior Finishes: Gypsum drywall.

III New Residential Dwelling - Technical Drawings 2022

The Toronto School of Music re-imagines the corner of Dundas Street and Bathurst Street as a creative hub for musicians alike. The interior form is softened by the space-frame façade which envelopes the four faces of the design. By regressing the floor inward, the threshold between the interior and exterior is obscured to emulate the malleable characteristics of the façade. Each interior space follows a modular archetype that corresponds to the layout of the structural grid. These spaces include teaching/practice areas, a library and two auditoriums. The main auditorium is designed with the purpose of showing diverse angles of the stage which exposes three sides to the audience. This layout centralises the performer within the space where a three-dimensional performance canbe exhibited.

IV HighRise Residentail-Commercial Project 2021

This architectural project centers around the conceptualization and realization of a high-rise building that harmoniously merged both commercial and residential functions. This visionary structure sought to redefine the urban landscape, creating a dynamic environment where work and living seamlessly coexisted. The design showcased sleek and modern lines, captivating the eye with its contemporary aesthetic. Sustainability was a key element, as the building incorporated cutting-edge technologies and eco-friendly features, aiming to minimize its carbon footprint and enhance the well-being of its occupants. The commercial floors were thoughtfully designed to accommodate a variety of businesses, offering flexible workspaces, state-of-the-art facilities, and collaborative areas that fostered innovation and productivity.
