Please take a moment to read through the next few pages and familiarize yourself with an overview of our proven marketing strategy and what you'll need to do.

SOCIAL MEDIA When you’re in the market for a new product or service, how often do you look up the company’s website and social media? Probably pretty often! So chances are, your potential clients will too! Having a consistent, professional look on social media and posting regular and informative content, is one of the biggest ways you can establish yourself as a real estate expert in the eyes of potential clients - all while staying in front of them on the platforms they use the most. Social media is also a great way to stay in front of family, friends and acquaintances. In addition to regular posts, you can also run targeted ads through your page to attract buyers, attract listings, increase your brand awareness, and so much more!
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO DO To get started, you’ll need to create a Facebook Business page and share your login information (username and password) with us so that we can add you to our auto-posting.

SOCIAL MEDIA
WHAT WE PROVIDE A Consistent GMT Brand - Your brand is almost like your unique identifier. When someone looks at your social media posts, they’ll see a consistent look and feel that is not only professionally created, but one they will grow to automatically associate with you and the Gary Mercer Team. Auto-Posting - Every month we schedule social media around a specific real estate topic or theme (ex. “Renovate or Relocate”, “Pumpkin Spice & Real Estate Advice”, etc.) Once you’ve provided us with your login information, these posts (graphics and copy) will go up automatically on your page(s) around 7 AM about 4-5 times a week - and you don’t even have to think about it! Listing Promotion - For every new listing, we post a video of the property along with a short description and the link to that property on the GMT Facebook page. For “Coming Soon” listings, we usually post the best photo(s). All agents are tagged in these posts and encouraged to share them to their pages - so with just one click of a button, you can easily add even more content to your Facebook page(s)! Templates - Want to showcase a property that you just got under contract, or need to advertise an Open House? We provide you the templates! (“Under Contract”, “Open House”, “Price Reduction”) - all you have to do is add the photo and property-specific information!

TEAM EVENTS We have one client event per quarter (a total of 4 per year) and these are an opportunity to offer something to your clients. Coming from a point of contribution is a great way to stay top of mind with your sphere of influence and past clients. You never know who’s planning to buy or sell (or who knows someone that is), and event invites are a great excuse to reach out and just touch base. Remember, the more you keep yourself relevant (even if it’s not exactly real estate - related), the more likely they are to chose you to represent them in their next real estate transaction!
GMT plans the event and creates invitation graphics, postcard & emails - so all you need to do is send out the invites!

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO DO Ahead of each event, the Marketing Manager will send you a calendar invite and an email with all the details. It is very important that you not only invite your clients/sphere of influence, but that you plan to attend. Agent/client interaction is the main purpose of client events and if they got an invitation from you, they're probably hoping to see you there! Plus, why not take the time to catch up and ask how they’re loving their new home or about their upcoming real estate plans?
WHAT WE PROVIDE Event Logistics - We handle everything from planning the event to the day-of logistics. Event Marketing - We promote our events with everything from Facebook ads to text blasts and we provide you the templates (graphics & copy) to share via email, text message, and social media. There's even a postcard you can send out! Expense - GMT handles the cost of the event - another great reason to take advantage of this great marketing opportunity!

NEWSLETTERS As you might have already gathered from some of our other marketing materials and strategies, your goal should be to position yourself as an industry leader, providing your buyers and sellers with helpful information. So naturally, a newsletter is another way we help you do this. Studies show that you are 40 times more likely to get new customers from email marketing than from Facebook or Twitter and that's something you should definitely want to take advantage of!
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO DO GMT uses Constant Contact as our email marketing platform and we can get you set up with your own agent account for a significant discount. Having your own account will allow you to send out your own personalized newsletters! The cost of your account will vary based on you number of Brivity contacts:

When entering new contacts into your Brivity account, it is very important that you ensure that the contact email is entered under "work" email - this will allow your contacts transfer over smoothly into your Constant Contact account Monthly payment for your account can be made via check made out to GMT and is due at the beginning of each month.
WHAT WE PROVIDE Custom Email Lists - We set up your Brivity and Constant Contact accounts so that your contacts from Brivity are automatically synced into your Constant Contact account and any update made in Brivity will be reflected in your Constant Contact email lists. Monthly Newsletter Templates- We create the main content and it's copied directly into your account Newsletter Personalization - Your personalized footer image and contact information Templates - For the "Just Sold" and other agent-specific sections of your newsletter.

POSTCARDS Who doesn't love getting a nice, colorful postcard in the mail? If done correctly, direct mail is another great way to reach past, current or future clients!
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO DO You'll want to make sure all your Brivity contacts' mailing addresses are accurate and under the "mailing address" field. If the correct address is not listed under the "mailing" field in Brivity, your postcard may go to an incorrect address.
WHAT WE PROVIDE Mailing list - We will provide your mailing list that you can then send out your postcards to. (We suggest Vistaprint and uploading the contact list we provide is very easy to do) Postcard Template - Each month, we provide a customizable template Postcards

POP-BYS One of our favorite ways to stay top of mind, especially with our A-level clients is the “pop-by”. Essentially, this is you "popping by" with a small gift, letting them know you're thinking of them and always there to help! Prior to Covid, pop-bys were physically delivered door to door - however, now it's even easier we mail them instead!
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO DO At the beginning of the month, you will get an email explaining the pop-by and detailing the total cost. It is very important that you respond before the deadline to place your order to ensure the best price and timely delivery Once the order has come in, you will receive another email notifying you that your pop-by items are ready for pickup at our office. Please plan to bring your payment at the time of pickup. Checks should be made out to The Gary Mercer Team and left with Linda Mathewson.
WHAT WE PROVIDE Pop-by Theme - GMT will develop the theme and content for your pop-by and place your order for you. Mailing Address List - We give you an updated export of the mailing addresses for sending the pop-by
