Over the years I’ve managed to build a successful partnership with a range of leading brands in the Midlands including the Co-Operative, McCann Erickson and Babcock. Monarch’s SLA’s Candidate briefing & submission Every candidate will be screened by a senior consultant before submission. In addition a ‘right to represent’ e-mail will be sent to every candidate as standard. Maximum CVs per vacancy Achieved through short listing applicants and only submitting the highest ranked CVs. Monarch’s internal SLA is to submit 5 suitable CVs within 48 hours. We would be keen to discuss what you feel would be appropriate SLAs. Eligibility to work in the UK Confirm all candidates to take an original copy of proof of eligibility to work in the UK to first interview. Validation of relevant qualifications Degrees – can get copies of all certificates, and qualifications can be confirmed over the internet – we would again ask candidates to take relevant originals to interview if required. Screening and interviewing All candidates are subject to a thorough prescreening by a Senior Consultant, usually a two stage process before CV submission. Job Qualification Although we are always happy to work from specification alone, we would be eager to discuss roles directly with hiring managers to find out more about the personality required, team fit etc – over the phone or in person to ensure screening and applicants submitted are suitable all round as well as technically competent. Master Vendor ADP Global - Client since: 2001 Size of contract: £1.3 million per annum UK office: Peterborough

Master vendor agreements are created to save HR teams time and money. They are agreements which allow Monarch to manage other agencies - these could be agencies selected by you, or alternatively, agencies we vet on your behalf. Master vendor agreements have already been successfully implemented within a number of Monarch clients. As an example, we’ve explained how global payroll provider ADP is currently.

Contract

For the Master Vendor in Peterborough, we are effectively an extension of the HR Team as we manage all vacancies and all communication with 2nd Tier Suppliers, saving the HR Team considerable time (and money!). The contract includes a structured SLA with key performance ratios of 5 CVs to 3 interviews to 1 placement which has been achieved every year.

Services Provided

Contract and permanent IT recruitment and consultancy services including a comprehensive salary benchmarking project which involved working with the HR Team to review the job descriptions of over 50 technical employees and benchmarking them against local employers, culminating in a report with our salary recommendations for each role.

Challenges

One of the key challenges is the location (Peterborough), particularly for Android Developers and Mobile Developers as these applicants tend to be based predominantly in London. We have placed 91 people since 2001 including all of the QA Testing Team (17 staff).

Account team structure

All recruitment activity for all four sites is coordinated and managed from our Birmingham office using an account team structure. Whilst ADP is treated as a single client from the perspective of pricing and the contract, each site is operated as a separate business unit with its own HR function and multiple line managers. All new vacancies have to be channeled through HR for authorisation.

Case Study - HomeServe History • Homeserve have over 100 technical employees (both permanent and contract), and due to large Business Transformation projects that are soon to begin, they needed an Agency they could trust to deliver high quality applicants under tight deadlines. • We had no previous history with Homeserve, over the past 12 months we had started working on particularly niche roles they were struggling to fill from their PSL. • After 12 months of successfully placing candidates, we were invited in to pitch for their PSL against 30+ other agencies. • We were one of 6 agencies invited to present to the Recruitment Team. • We are now 1 of 3 Agencies on the Homeserve PSL. • Over the past 6 months, we have filled over 80% of the roles filled by all 3 of the agencies.

Ongoing market knowledge, surveys, geographic and technical specialisation – we know salary expectations, how much companies tend to pay, which companies have high/low salaries, which companies have the candidates that you would look for/have similar technical skills to head hunt.

Terms of Business

We acknowledge your Terms & Conditions as below and are happy to agree: •

All introduction fee’s will be 15% calculated on base salary only and if the appointment is for a temporary or fixed period the fee will be pro rata accordingly.

Standard rebate term – 16 weeks

(a) within 0- 4 weeks of the commencement date - 100% of the Introduction Fee

(b) within 5-8 weeks of the commencement date - 75% of the Introduction Fee

(c) within 9-12 weeks of the commencement date - 50% of the Introduction Fee

(d) within 13-16 weeks of the commencement date - 25% of the Introduction Fee

Insurances Public Liability insurance with a limit of £10m per claim; Employer’s Liability insurance with a limit of at least £10m per claim; Product Liability insurance of at least £10m per claim; Currently – Professional indemnity insurance is at £5m per claim however more than happy to accommodate change if successful.

We are happy to discuss Contract Terms of Business, and the services we are able to offer in more detail. We are also able to provide payroll services for existing and future Contract employees.
