WELCOME TO THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY FARM FAIR SALE
What a pleasure to welcome livestock enthusiasts to the 50th anniversary of Farm Farm International! For over 5 decades the city of Edmonton has hosted one of the premier livestock exhibitions in the entire world and their heavy emphasis on making it an “international” event has brought people together from around the globe to not only conduct business, but to form life long relationships. Our team at Bohrson Marketing has always enjoyed attending Farm Fair and thought what better way to celebrate this golden anniversary then by combining the best of the best from an array of breeds to showcase to the world. We are excited to welcome you to this one of a kind all breeds event.
Only a special anniversary sale such as Farm Fair will bring out the likes of some of the exciting open heifer calves, bred females, frozen genetics and even herd bull candidates you’ll find in lots 1-53. As you flip through the front to the back of this book from the Angus, Red Angus, Charolais, Gelbvieh, Limousin, Hereford, Maine-Anjou, Shorthorn, Speckle Park and Simmental you will notice how deep in quality this offering is. Many consignors are nearly life long exhibitors at Farm Fair that are leaders in their respective breeds represented and as you study the cattle you will soon see why. The calander year heifer calves available are at the forefront of their calf crops and represent exciting new genetics that will be very competitive in this breed and jackpot shows. The bred heifer numbers are small in quantity but explosive in quality and show the big time maternal characteristics of their respective breeds. The special herd bull on offer has a tonne of future ahead of him and was quite honestly only made for sale because of the special anniversary sale at one of the greatest shows in the land. Be sure to pay extra attention to some of the frozen genetics opportunities, they are a combination of new and fresh genetics with proven and predictable.
We look forward to the multi breed camaraderie that comes with Farm Fair for this special sale. The cattle, people, facility, committee and everything that makes Farm Fair what is it will be very fun to celebrate on the Friday evening. We really hope you plan to be with us in Edmonton to take in the shows and sale and just know you won’t want to miss out. If for some reason your busy schedules keep you from taking in the sale festivities, please don’t hesitate to contact the consignors or any of use from Bohrson Marketing to visit about the cattle and genetics on offer.

DMM REVENGE 92M is the first bull calf Miller Wilson Angus has offered by public auction in several decades. Why you ask? We go away for one weekend of judging and the next generation is left in total control.
Revenge was just crowned Rs. Senior Bull Calf Champion at Olds Fall Classic. He offers a unique blend of muscle mass, style and foot quality. Reports from across the country on his sire’s first calf crop have been outstanding. Many have made it to the backdrop but more importantly, have been at the top end of their pens. Exceptional maternal strength enrich both sides of his pedigree. When three of our top donors, DMM Miss Essence 60H, DMM Miss Essence 5C and Young Dale Kristina are his dam and grand dams, we feel confident in his ability to become a herdsire that makes a difference.
Retaining a 1/3 semen interest.
Lot 2
If you are looking for an outcross pedigree to take your program to the next level, have a peak at this future donor prospect. She is a beautiful young heifer that has the bone mass and foot size to take you where ever you want to go. We purchased Penny’s beautiful big framed dam last fall out of Justamere Farms female sale and couldn’t be happier with what she has done for us. They had successfully campaigned her as a bred heifer with Gower Family Angus, then she moved into their ET program, where she proved herself again with her offspring. Being only one of few BC II Skyfall 2812 females in Canada, here’s your chance to get in on genetics you see in the hot AI sires pedigree. She was purchased mated to EXAR Wooden 1608B, who is a stand out visually with numbers to back him up. Being in the top 1% in the Angus breed for both Weaning and Yearling weights, he’s a bull people should keep an eye on in the future! So if you’re looking for a female to add frame size, foot structure and pounds on your scale this one checks all the boxes!
The first daughter of Border Butte Hitman 466K to sell! Out of a first time calver, this 60 lb birth weight heifer never looked back. Ranking 2nd out of 29 in her contemporary group, she ratioed a 119 on weaning. Her powerful phenotype, backed with unmatched show ring appeal, will make her a strong addition to any herd. She is deep bodied with loads of muscle shape and great spring of rib. When the showing is all over and the banners have all been hung, expect 56M to be around for many years with an outstanding set of feet and a great udder. The icing on the cake is her EPD profile. Weaning, yearling, and scrotal in the top 5% of the breed. Calving ease, RADG, carcass weight, marbling, REA, and CBI all in the top 10% of the breed. Donor potential with a unique pedigree.

ANCHORAGE/ARLEY Mia 4318
BW:
4318 is a female from the top of our program as we are selling our best for this special sale. We think the world of the Best Answer cattle and truly believe he is one of the elite calving ease sires that the Angus breed has seen and 4318 is an example with them calving with extra ease and getting up and developing with substance, natural shape and still having a good look. The bottom side of the pedigree is stacked as 2401 is an ET female from the 247C donor that produced the high selling $35,000 Peak Dot Newfound 83H and is a potent breeding piece. 4318 has a lot going for her with a stacked pedigree and phenotype that we appreciate for being very sound in her design with a lot of hip and body in an elegant and attractive package.
There has been quite a buzz around the barns about BCC Echo 4123. She has that wow factor. From her beautiful skull shape, extra punch of center body and muscle mass. Yet still so impressive on the move. 4123 has had quite a banner filled show career already. She’s built like her mother, but even better and that’s the true goal of this industry, especially considering this is her first calf. The Echo cow family is no stranger to the game. LFE Echo 3K, a $13 000 Angus Collection graduate, is sired by PF Oklahoma with dam & grand dams built to last. Genetics that go back to long time producing cows from Hamilton Farms. 3K was bred to be foremost in production and so far we are seeing exactly that. 4123’s sire is a South Point son we bought from Wilbar out of a Black Velvet daughter who was a high selling female out of the Masterpiece sale - he sure made for not only calving ease but big league performance. We’ve been striving for almost 50 years to create females like this. 4123 is the kind that make it hard to let go of, but we feel it’s finally time to let a herd builder like this one really shine. Retaining show rights for her through Agribition.
We are thrilled to be a part of the sale at Farmfair. When the Bohrson staff approached us about consigning, we knew we had to select a good one. This heifer stems from our foundation cow family the Ina’s. Everyone who tours our herd finds every Ina female that we have. They are our ideal type of cows, with quality udders and feet, excellent fertility, and standout production. This heifer is just like her donor quality dam, ideal teat placement, sound feet, and an attractive side profile. Her sire, J Trademark, is a bull we have used heavily in our AI and ET program for the last two years. His calves come with modest birth weights and wean heavy. 404M was alongside her dam at the Southern Alberta Angus Tour and we were fortunate enough for them to be named people's choice champion cow calf pair. The gate is always open for a tour through our herd.
Trieber Erica 831L is an attractive female that has eye appeal and strong performance. Her Dam always produces Top of the Pen calves! Erica has drawn much attention at shows this past summer. She earned two Reserve Bred Champion Female titles, the first at the Dawson Creek Exhibition and again at the North Peace Fall Fair. Erica was also at the top of her class at Summer Synergy in Olds. Her half-sister qualified this year for Canadian Western Agribition Beef Supreme. You can check Erica out at Olds Fall Classic and Farm Fair 2024. We originally were keeping her for our breeding program so she will be hard to let go! We know she will be a fantastic addition to any program! Erica was Reserve Champion Intermediate Black Angus Bred Heifer at Olds Fall Classic.
AI bred to SAV Final Answer on April 21, 2024. Exposed to Dwajo Showtime 79L from April 23 to July 30.
BELVIN MAY CITY 0136
dam
It was a hard decision, but here is a heifer from the top of our heifer calf crop. A March 25th born calf, She is super stylish, long, and has some great width, which is consistent with her sire group. Dam was purchased from Tanya Belsham, Popular Meadow Angus in 2022, whose lines come from the Tibbie cow family from Mountain View Farms. She is proving to be a real maternal producer being double bred EXT along with Bar-E-L Natural Law 52Y in her pedigree. Her first son was selected as the first bull sold out of the pen that year and her second is among our top bred heifer.
Sired by Belvin May City 0136, who is turning out to be a phenomenal female creator. Breeding true to the Georgina cow family that he stems from. The most promising young females in our herd are sired by him. This classy heifer will be shown at Farmfair
The best of the best in the Angus industry is stacked up in these flawless line-ups of great Angus lineage. 2308K is a special breeding piece of maternal greatness as she is sired by the famous Density and is a direct daughter of the immortal Lawson Chloe C815. C815 is one of the most potent breeding pieces in the world and has produced progeny at $750,000, $450,000, $300,000, $120,000 and so many more. Most importantly, her prolific daughters are now carrying the torch and producing as strong as results with high sellers at record levels consistency. 2380K herself was a high selling feature that sold at Brooking last fall and has transitioned into a beautiful two-year-old that is the kind to build around. These three bulls represented are the most exciting in the breed today, it will be fun to see who is selected first as they all are truly outstanding individuals - the exclusivity and potential in these matings are endless. FIREBRAND 6068
Hard to make a more maternal mating than this one. 9292 is a big time Firebrand daughter from one of our favourite old donors that did so well for us, 0065. 9292 is moderate framed, huge ribbed, attractive phenotype and is stacked with a great history of flat out producing and her full sister brought $42,500 to KT Ranches and another brought $11,000. There are also full brothers to 9292 walking at W Sunrise and KT Ranches and it truly is a pedigree that doesn’t miss along with sons highlighting the Rancier and U2Q Bull Sales recently. The matings to the exclusive new sires, Mendoza and Lit Up are nothing short of exciting, get your opportunity to get genetics off the open market and from some of the most exciting bulls in the industry. We believe in the 9292 donor heavily and know these matings will certainly provide big time ROI, I am excited to see the offspring for the successful buyers.

Taurus is a three dimensional powerhouse packed with muscle, masculinity, and rib shape, combined with impeccable structure and flawless feet. The list of box’s he checks off is quite lengthy. Long spined, expressively muscled and very athletic with ideal structural soundness, Taurus is attractive from every angle. His dark red colour, outcross pedigree, docile, herd sire presence, and the list goes on.
Going to be one of those sires that will be around for a long time. Limited semen will be available in Canada. Canada & USA qualified. Stored at Bovigen, Moose Jaw, SK.
Dark cherry red, very attractive and feminine, smooth made heifer. The Ruby cow family has been consistent and productive. 143H has had two other daughters selected for sales, with one selling to Mexico and the other to Riverside Genetics in Quebec. A maternal sister to 143H raised one of our high selling bulls last year and has another tremendous son this year that will be a highlight in our Bull sale. On the sire side, 193M is the first daughter of Kujo to sell. Kujo had a very good show career, being Grand Champion Senior Bull Calf at Farmfair International and Agribition, along with Reserve Champion Red Angus Bull at Stockade Roundup. He then went on to be our high selling bull to Goad Family Angus; but the best part is he sired an excellent set of calves both at Redrich & Goads. We are excited about the future for this beautiful Ruby red heifer.
This is the kind of female that I predict will do her job as a producer extremely well. Bottom side we have a cow family attained from the reputable herd at Dwajo, that has done nothing but please us year after year. They’re the kind of genuine angus females we like, good skulled, big ribbed, super sound and good dispositioned. Grand dam on the topside (CIND 93S) is one of our few cornerstone females still kicking around to this day; and has been designated a premier dam since 2018. That in itself speaks volumes of the kind of production this female has been bred for. “Mini” is bred to calve early January to PIE Complete 221 owned by Wheelers Stock Farm; another bull that has proven to be high in demand. This is a golden opportunity to get your hands on an honest critter who’s due to have some real nice progeny. Preg checked safe to PIE Complete 221 for early January
This Homo Polled PA free heifer has been a standout since day 1! Shes takes the best traits of her industry leading sire Outsider and her tanky mother PCC 19H our donor. She’s so big bodied and stout featured carrying so much mass with such a correct foot underneath of her. Heather 304L is a super long made female with such a promising udder coming in underneath her thats bred up to the top 1% calving ease bull LT Countdown. Don't miss out on this opportunity on a heifer that will give you power not just in the show ring but in your herd! AI bred to LT Countdown April 14, 2024. No exposure. Preg checked safe
Annabelle represents what we want are females to look like. She is absolutely massive in her center body and carries as much mass and depth as you could want. When you analyze her from behind she has more than enough width and shape to be a successful show heifer and high end producer. You appreciate how much mass and shape Annabelle carries while still maintaining a head neck design that is extremely attractive and ultra feminine. This young March heifer has an exciting future ahead of her being backed by arguably one of our best cow families. You can count on this one being equally as valuable as a show cow and front pasture female. Annabelle is entered in Agribition.

Bootylicious 144J is a true donor female that wraps it all together with phenotype, genotype and a strong set of EPD’s. This outstanding female first bull calf sold through the Oberle Circle 7 program and her second heifer calf at side is a top end replacement heifer. She was purchased at the top of the Springside Dispersal and has done so much right in terms of production along with foot quality, udder strength, attractive made with overall power of muscle shape along with extra rib capacity. We had entertained the thought of showing 144J this fall but things got a notch hectic around here this summer and decided the wise move would be to leave her open and build off of this breeding piece. The matings to Historic and Mayfield are nothing short of exciting as we viewed a full sister to Historic at LT that is impressive along with viewing Mayfield calves north and south of the border that flat our impress. Both these bulls have created so much excitement in the breed and rightfully so, these matings are sure to click with the beautiful SOS Bootylicious 144J donor that we know has worlds of future ahead of her.

A unique lot to showcase B-Bar Rainmaker 4K! A herd sire that stacks three of our most prominent cow families together; the Nicole’s, Foxtrot’s and Urban Girl’s. Rainmaker has stood out at every stage of development and we knew since he was young that we wanted to utilize him heavily in our program. Rainmaker’s overall balance of impressive phenotype, above average numbers and powerful cow families were the keys to using him for our program. The anticipation of his first calf crop has not disappointed and they will be featured in our Annual Sale on Tuesday December 17. We used him heavier this year and are expecting an exciting cross section of calves to be born. Many of these will be full sibs to current Rainmaker progeny that we have on the ground. Stop by the stall and see Rainmaker 4K in the flesh as we will be campaigning him with our partners Canadian Sires, AB and La Rhone Limousins of South Africa.

We are beyond excited with this heifer. If you are looking for a show prospect for the 2025 CJLA show in Saskatchewan 49M is a must see. Eye catching in profile, balanced front to back, sound and ideal in her movement. Quiet and gentle to handle. Her dam is out of Marilyn Monroe who is also the Dam of the well known bull Border Agent, and by Riverstone Crown Royal a full sib to Riverstone Charmed. Her sire Hitman is a proven calving ease sire with a wall full of his own banners from his very successful show season as a yearling. We believe with thoughtful breeding she will produce some great babies as well. We would be happy to assist a Junior member to exhibit RPY 49M at the 2025 CJLA Show. Retaining the right to one successful flush at our expense and buyers convenience.
My Urban Girl is the result of two powerful and progressive programs colliding. We have trusted the BBar and Venture programs to improve our genetic base for several years and have never been disappointed. The Urban Girl cow family has been infamous in those herds and this is your opportunity to get your hands one of them. Her sire is a 3 generation bred Pinnacle bull that is also the result of stacking cow families that have been consistent and powerful producers in our herd. This heifer calf also comes with an impressive set of EPD’s to back up her powerful phenotype with weaning weight and yearling weight numbers in the top 10% of the breed. This is one that will likely make it to the donor pen in a hurry.

Farewell is a heifer we are sure excited about. A limflex female that combines two of the best bulls from both the angus and limousin breeds going back to Greenwood Electric Impact on the bottom side and Brooking Emerald on the top side. Emerald females have been some of the most dominant females in the show ring and many topping sales the past couple years. Farewell is one you have to admire for her overall look at style and one any junior will be happy to campaign next summer.
