This past year, Krzak settled a case involving injuries sustained by a resident of the Illinois Valley in an automobile accident for $2.2 million and a truck accident case for $9.2 million in Chicago.

SGKR grew from Schweickert & Ganassin, a full-service law practice that provided decades of service in personal injury and workers’ compensation cases under longtime partners Douglas Schweickert and Scott Ganassin. Michael Krzak, who has represented death and injury victims in major aviation crashes, truck crashes, train derailments, automobile collisions and other transportation incidents in Chicago and throughout the world, and Matthew Rundio, who has successfully prosecuted injury and wrongful death claims from automobile, trucking, railroad and medical negligence victims, joined the firm in 2018.
