I Am So Glad You Are Here

It is my hope that this Passport will be your resource for local food, fun, and travel in the coming year! I also hope it serves as your quick reference when you need a plumber, realtor, lawyer, or other business service.

As a resident of the Wonder Lake community for more than 50 years, I know and love this region. And I understand how businesses and communities working together can create vibrant, safe, and happy places to work and live.

Our Chamber includes the villages of Richmond, Spring Grove, Fox Lake, and Volo as well as the neighboring communities. Although the villages’ combined populations are less than 30,000 the region serves hundreds of thousands of commuters and travelers each year headed between Chicago and Wisconsin. We changed the name of the publication this year to highlight the diversity of services and recreational opportunities that exist right here in our own communities.

I want you to flip through this Passport and USE IT. Ware it out! And while you do, look for places and faces that you know!

Since I took the helm in 2022, Chamber membership has grown by more than 100 members! For me, this means more opportunities than ever to partner, connect and support each other.

I can’t wait to see what this year brings!
