about the studio
We are happy to welcome you to our beautiful studio space in the South East of Calgary. This wonderfully cozy studio is filled with creative energy, consisting of 7 gorgeous areas that ooze femininity. We also have a gorgeous staircase of which there is a beautiful 9 foot long chandelier specifically for boudoir. There is also a piazza with beautiful french doors! Our studio is fully equipped with natural & artificial lighting, gorgeous furniture, and a myriad of props and backdrops. We love photographing inside these walls, using its stimulating energy to create many more masterpieces.
urban
An Urban session will take you to a location that is just minutes from the studio. It includes spray painted concrete walls and railway tracks. This session is hip, fun & sexy . . . so enjoy!
country
An orchard, barn, or field describes a country setting best. I would describe these images as whimsical and dreamy. I have locations near the studio that are just a short drive away. They are in a private setting and will make for romantic, magical photography. You can view some outdoor sessions on our blog.

what is a tease boudoir sessions like?

First of all, it’s lots of fun! It’s a stress-free experience and we do our best to make you feel comfortable during the photo session. Our spacious and bright studio has a serene and relaxing atmosphere, making the experience private and unique. You can even bring your own music if you like! Feel free to share your visions and dreams with us and we will do our best to capture them! We will guide you throughout each and every step of the way, from what type of clothing and accessories you can wear and bring with you to the studio, how to prepare for the shoot and pose in front of a camera during the session, to choosing the best images and products to suit the occasion. Dawnelle, our studio manager, will work with you so that you can figure out what look you would like to achieve. That way we also have more time to prepare the equipment and ourselves for the look both you and us, want to achieve. Dawnelle and Shawna are always within reach and you can email or call us if you have any questions or concerns. Our main goal is to make you feel as confident and relaxed for the photo session as possible, as that is a sure way to get fantastic results!

Almost all of our clients are regular people who have no experience in modelling and have never been photographed professionally before. Some of our clients come in as timid and shy girls and leave as energized and confident women who got a chance to express their inner sensuality in a new and exciting way. We photograph only for our clients and our goal as artists is to make each woman feel beautiful and appreciated for her uniqueness, regardless of their body type, size, height or experience in the modeling field.
Yes, we do artistic editing as well as light airbrushing - Shawna is a professional photo editor and can get rid of complex problems such as unwanted cellulite, heavy stretch-marks and other little things you wouldn’t want to see in the photos. Please let us know if you have specific editing requests.

About 1 to 3 weeks following your shoot, Dawnelle will invite you to meet her at our office of which is downtown Calgary. This is where you will make your purchasing decisions!! Very exciting!!
Professional makeup is included in all of our session fees. Depending on your session fee choice, we will photograph the number of looks (outfit changes) included. In approximately 1 to 3 weeks following your photo session, we will have you come in for the Premier Ordering Session!
how soon after the viewing session will i receive my photos?

Once we place the order with our printing lab, it takes about 14-18 days for the album, and about 5-7 days for fine art prints to arrive into your hands.

That’s why all of our packages include a professional makeup service, as it is an integral part of the preparation process so that you are camera ready. Our 4 amazing artists are talented and experienced and will enhance your natural beauty and conceal anything that is unwanted (blemishes, uneven skin tone, etc). to EXPECT
One of the first considerations is scheduling. We always suggest that our ladies book 8 - 10 weeks before their big event whether it’s a wedding, birthday, holiday or anniversary. This ensures we have plenty of time to plan, shoot and of course for you to receive your purchased album, products and goodies. When you are ready to book, we will work together closely to prepare you for your session. We will always start with a phone consulation to make sure we have the same vision for your session. We highly recommend that you take advantage of this meeting since it makes the shoot go a lot more smoothly. After our meeting we will have you create an inspiration board on Pinterest. This board will help our makeup artists and Shawna get a better feeling of what you want out of your session - from hair and makeup looks, to clothing styles!

premier ORDERING SESSION
At your viewing session, this is when the real fun begins. This is the moment you get to see yourself all dolled up and through the magic of the lens. Dawnelle will spend some time oohing and aahing over your images before you pick out which ones you want (and which ones you need!!). We then work together to make sure that you receive the album, product and prints that you desire. This is also when you will place your order. Most of our clients spend between $500 to $1500 on their boudoir session products. Some spend less and some spend more depending on what they want. We offer payment plans for clients who don’t want their partners to question the purchases on their credit card, or bank statement (many of our ladies do this as a surprise for their significant other!) We offer 3 different Album sizes, Metal Prints, Prints, Heirloom Box, Retro Hottie viewfinders (don’t worry, we will explain each and every one of these goodies at the vieweing session) and many other beautiful products.
