"JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM"
Four years after the Jurassic World theme park was closed down, Owen and Claire return to Isla Nublar to save the dinosaurs when they learn that a once dormant volcano on the island is active and is threatening to extinguish all life there. Along the way, Owen sets out to find Blue, his lead raptor, and discovers a conspiracy that could disrupt the natural order of the entire planet. Life has found a way, again. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard return to star in this adventure sequel. (Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of science-fiction violence and peril). (2:08). Opens June 22 at the Cinema Centre 8 and Movies Six at Shawnee Mall.
"THE MIRACLE SEASON"
After the tragic death of star volleyball player Caroline “Line” Found, a team of dispirited high school girls must band together under the guidance of their tough love coach in hopes of winning the state championship. "BLOCKERS"
Mindy, Cindy and flatulent Windy are 3 suburban high schoolers who make a blood oath as they start their senior year of high school: they'll each lose their virginities by end of final semester. When various comical attempts fail, they hunker down for their climactic (as it were) last chance at defloration: the night of the senior prom. Who will succeed, if any, who will fail, and who will flunk out? John Cena and Leslie Mann star in the adult comedy. (Rated R for crude and sexual content, and language throughout, drug content, teen partying, and some graphic nudity) (1:41) Opens June 22 at the Hornbeck Theatre.
SUMMER KID SERIES: Every Wednesday through August 1 the Horn-
beck Theatre will present a family-friendly movie at 10am. Admission, drink and popcorn is $4 plus tax. This week's movie is "FERDINAND", animated, featuring the voices of John Cena and Kate McKinnon. (Rated PG for rude humor, action and some thematic elements) (1:48) June 27 at the Hornbeck Theatre.

Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park's "The Revolutionists" Features an All-Female Cast in a Comedic Tale of Political and Social Injustice Oklahoma City, Oklahoma- Four badass women–an assassin, a spy, a writer, and Marie Antoinette–hang out, plot murder, and try to beat back extremist insanity in Paris. In Lauren Gunderson’s The Revolutionists, these women act in the face of injustice, give their lives to protect freedom and equality, and stand up for what they believe in…all while being hilarious in the face of challenging, fractured political times. Armed with sharp wit and even sharper knives, this comedy of liberté, égalité, and sororité considers how we actually go about changing the world. Oklahoma Shakespeare
in the Park (OSP) proudly presents this work by the most produced living playwright in 2017 during their 34th season. The production runs July 5 through July 21, 2018.
artists be better, braver, and bolder in addressing political and social injustice.
Directed by OSP Managing Director Tyler Woods, the production features a winning, all-female cast, including Amanda Lee* as Marie Antoinette, Alexis Ward as Marianne, Erin Woods as Olympe and Madison Hill as Charlotte.
Single ticket prices are $25, on Thursday and Sunday and $30 on Friday and Saturday with discounts available for groups of 10 or more, seniors, students, military, and educators. Because of the intimate nature of our Paseo space we reccommend purchasing tickets online. Tickets are available at www.oklahomashakespeare.com
The Revolutionists is a particularly timely choice because it is a piece that asserts the bravery and agency of women to be a political and social force, for their own inalienable rights, as well as for the greater good. The play presents women who don’t behave according to the restrictions of their day and don’t care if they are well liked: they care that they are brave. The Revolutionists takes place in history but uses uniquely modern language and point of view. In doing so, Gunderson’s seriously funny and very relevant work asserts that women of all races are still subjugated in some of the ways they were 300 years ago. In addition, the play offers an image of art makers Alexis Ward as Marianne, Madison Hill as Charlotte, Amanda Lee that is self-critical, incias Marie, Erin Woods as Olympe. June 18 - Oklahoma City, OK - Authenticity isn’t something that can be manufactured in a studio. It’s not a craft that can be learned or artfully practiced. It comes from living life. It’s the byproduct of blood, sweat and tears and as the foundation for music, it elevates mere entertainment to compelling art. Every note, every word on the Randy Rogers Band’s new album Nothing Shines Like Neon rings with authenticity that makes each song linger with the listener long after the music fades. “You’ve just got to be true to yourself and you can’t fool anybody,” Rogers states matter of factly of the band’s philosophy. “As a whole, our body of work is pretty consistent to our live show and the band that plays on the record is the band that you go see.” Tickets for the Friday, September 21 Randy Rogers Band show at The Jones Assembly go on sale Friday, June 22 starting at 10AM. Tickets will be available at Ticketfly.com, in person at The Jones Assembly, or by phone at 877-435-9849. For more information, please visit https://www.randyrogersband.com/
