surrounding grounds to enjoy a day full of entertainment and activities. Start the day with the smiling children in a pet and bike parade as they wander through the fair grounds. Tour the many entered fair exhibits on display inside the Community hall, and while there also check out the silent auction items. There is plenty to see on the upper fairgrounds, we will have a Kidzone where there will be organized games, bouncy castles, pony rides, petting zoo to just name a few of the days events and, oh and more entertainment. Take the time to see our talented photographer at the photo booth and get your fun fair digital photo emailed back to you for free. For car enthusiasts the famous British Car Club with a diverse selection will be there to view, or stop and visit the emergency vehicle section where you can tour the fire trucks or ambulance vehicles. You will find two stages, one inside the main exhibit hall where there will be dancers, demos and musical entertainment throughout the day, the other outside stage will be situated on the main fair grounds with lots of free live entertainment all day long. Go inside the upper Lions Hall to meet and see many artists and artisans where you may come across many fabulous finds and more musical entertainment. Many of our local and regional organizations will have information booths to browse through as well and also explore and enjoy the multiple booths of our vendors and food services. Have fun going through the guide, finding the category and items you would like to make, bake, build to enter and exhibit at the fair! You may even be lucky and win a Blue ribbon! Look forward to seeing you at the Fair!

Bring in your entries on Come out and join the Bow Horne Bay Community Club. We have been going strong since 1970 and represent Lighthouse Country-Bowser, Horne Lake, Qualicum Bay and Deep Bay. The club strives to encourage community spirit and family involvement through hosting community events which in turn helps to promote our local area organizations and businesses. Our primary projects are the Lighthouse Country Fall Fair, Trivia Night and the biennial Lighthouse Country Garden Tour and Strawberry Tea and other fundraising events. Each of the opportunities we use to help fund the Fall Fair, offer scholarships to local students, donate to the building and improvements to the Lighthouse Community Centre, and offer emergency assistance to community members. We welcome new members at any time, so please contact Lynette Twigge ltwigge@shaw.ca to become more involved with the community club.
