ey Club: The California-Nevada-Hawaii District Key Club International, CaliNev-Ha, or simply CNH is a governing body of Key Club International, a youth sponsored community service organization of Kiwanis International, local Kiwanis clubs and school districts across the state. The organization was started by California State Commissioner of Schools Albert C. Olney and vocational education teacher Frank C. Vincent, who worked together to establish the first Key Club at Sacramento High School in California on May 7, 1925. Female students were first admitted in 1977, ten years before women were admitted to the sponsoring organization, Kiwanis International. In California, during the 1920s, adults were concerned with the pernicious side of high school fraternities and sought some means of replacing them with more wholesome activities for youth.

Recap of Events
The Interclub with Mental Health, Origami, and Key club was one of my favorite meetings. I enjoy meetings where we get to interact with our members because I get to know them better. It also was so fun seeing people memorizing the origami pattern and teaching the people around me. I also enjoyed talking to a Kiwani’s advisor and it was a very fun experience getting to teach her origami and hearing her story about it.
Recap of Events
this event was Safetyville! my personal opinion on this event is that it was very enjoyable and memorable, i had many interactions with children and with even the parents and i was able to teach kids lessons about safety and how to keep them and others around them safe! and playing games with kids and seeing their happy faces when they were able to win was enough to make me smile, a special interaction that i had with a kid that was able to stick out the most to me and that i still remember was when, i was running one of the games with my friend and while i was working i turned around and saw a kid behind me and i asked if they wanted to play again to win more candy, and instead of playing again as i offered they gave me a piece of candy and gave me a hug and a quick thank you for letting them win, even tho this was a quick small gesture it was able to make me feel appreciated and made me realize i wasn’t only doing this event for hours and keyclub

Teaching origami to members
The month of November has to be one of my favorite for Key Club There were so much cool events going on; specifically pieing teachers It was so funny to see Mr Brennan get pied that much, but it sucked for the teachers because it was shaving cream not whip cream I felt bad for Ms Laurison and Ms Lai, I saw them afterwards and it was so funny seeing them walk around covered in shaving cream
We are entering our third term of Key Club so election season is almost here! Keep an eye out for gathering events so that you can see the ks Key Club officers do, and maybe you can be one next year
