MAYOR’S

PROFESSIONAL SERIES SUBSCRIPTIONS

MESSAGE Every year, I’m excited to see how the Shell Theatre will challenge me creatively. A thriving community needs culture to remind us to think differently. Music, art, theatre and dance help our own artistic sides flourish. The 2016-17 Shell Theatre Performance Season is another example of exactly that! With a wide variety of culture on the stage, everyone has the opportunity to find their fit. From magic to music and dance to comedy, there is something for everyone. We’ll see the return of past favourites Jesse Cook, Jim Witter, and Brent Butt, giving you the chance to see how these artists have grown and developed their talents. First time artists on our stage include Wide Mouth Mason and Terri Clark, bringing new experiences for everyone. I encourage you to sit back and enjoy the Shell Theatre experience as you expand your own creative horizons. Sincerely, Gale Katchur

The Shell Theatre is a part of your community and your source for culture in Fort Saskatchewan. Look beside you and see a neighbour as part of our team. From ticket-takers to ushers our community shines through volunteerism. We could not do what we do without their tireless efforts in support of all of our events. Should you see a volunteer at the Shell Theatre or the Alberta Lottery fund Art Gallery give them a high five for their support, or greet them with a smile for being an essential part of our Shell Theatre Team. Thank you!
