Welcome everyone to the house of the rising sun, tonight we welcome Coburg Giants to our home court and after an extremely disappointing game last week we have a chance to redeem ourselves and show our supporters and ourselves that last weeks performance was "one of those games". Training this week has been upbeat and at times very intense and the players have responded very well and are fully aware of the importance of this game, a win is vitally important if we are to remain in touch with the top 2 or 3 teams. The players and coaches appreciate your continued support and are committed to playing a style of basketball that is not only entertaining to watch but also fun to play.

Division 2 Women's Head Coach Welcome back to Heights for Round 10 as we cross the mid point of the season. Last week we were able to string together consecutive wins for the first time this year and arrive back at home today after a game against Pakenham on the road last night. As a team we sat down this week to both review whatâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s been and forecast the road ahead which interestingly will see us face all teams placed 1-6 in the next four weeks. Ultimately the next month will decide our post season fate and while it would be easier sitting 7-5 instead of 5-7 coming into the weekend, one thing can be assured is we will earn our spot in post season action from here. Today we welcome the Craigieburn Eagles who are a perennial finals contender and once again sitting in the top tier led by reigning league MVP Damon Smith (18.8ppg & 9.1rpg) and a strong local core who front up year after year. Thanks for your support.

INDIVIDUAL & SMALL GROUP TRAINING

WITH KRAIG & DESLYN

Sherbrooke Suns BIG V Imports Kraig Shields & Deslyn Applewhaite are offering individual/small group training sessions each Monday and Wednesday evening with all players welcome irrespective of age or skill level. The sessions are conducted at Upwey High School on Monday between 6-7pm and Wednesday evenings between 6-8pm. Sessions will cover all individual offensive and defensive components and can be tailored based on parent/player feedback. Cost schedule as follows; One on One: $30 per hour (single coach) Two participants: $20 ph per person (single coach) Group 3 or more participants: $15 ph per person (single coach) These sessions will be capped at 1:8 coach/player ratio and pre-booking is required.
