WEEKEND PREVIEW From The Coaches Youth Champ Men head into today, the 2nd game of a double header weekend, having faced Kilsyth at Kilsyth last night. The success of round 2’s win over Keilor, has given the group confidence that they can tough games out. A Double Double by Nick Tarrant 14pts & 11rebs and Jason Spikin leading the charge with 19pts, 4 stls, 3asts and 5rebs as well contributions from Billy Bundle and Tyrone Tonkins 15pts, Darren Feldtmann 13pts. We look forward to talking Coach Gaze’s Tiger’s on our home court, and get to see how well our pre-season served us with back to back games.

Youth Championship Men Head Coach Welcome back to Heights for our second home game of the season and on the back of a fantastic home crowd atmosphere generated last Saturday. Last week our group were able to hang tough and take the scalp of Altona in a tight game late in the fourth, which was vindication for all their work to this point with several players stepping up in key stages. With 24 games in 18 weeks, we have placed a huge importance on stringing wins together in this first block of the season, especially considering our pre-Easter schedule sees us face primarily teams positioned in the top 6 equation. Today we welcome the Melton Thoroughbreds, who like us are on the backend of a double header but undefeated in the opening two rounds having turned over almost their entire roster in the offseason. New import, Chris Johnson (24.5pts & 13.5rebs) has been a find while one of the returnees Wol Wol Ngong (15pts & 6.5rebs) has started the new season where he finished 2018. Thanks for your support, we hope you enjoy the day and spread the word as we would love to pack out ‘Heights’ throughout the season.
