WEEKEND PREVIEW From The Coaches

Welcome everyone to the house of the rising sun the final game of this weekends triple header finds our senior women's team playing one of the powerhouses of the competition The Black Angels Melbourne University this is our 2nd time playing the black angels this season with the first result seeing the angels with a 7 point win on their home court for us to reverse this result we must control the dominance of Amelia Smith (20.5ppg) and Emmie O'Nial (17 ppg & 14 rpg ) to do this the Suns players must bring their A game at both ends of the court the last 3 games have seen a steady improvement within the team with 3 wins and this game will show exactly where we are within the competition. The players and coaches very much appreciate your support so far this season and look forward to that support continuing as always we are committed to playing a style of basketball which is not only entertaining to watch but fun to play. GO SUNS.

Gary Jones

Division 2 Women's Head Coach After our first painful defeat of the season last week we are determined to make up for that unexpected loss. We learnt some valuable lesson last week and have taken the necessary steps to correct our problem areas. Our opponents this week are Collingwood All Stars. They are a formidable opponent and have been getting stronger and more confident with each round, not to mention having a league leading player in a number of stats. It will be a tough game. However we are confident that we can get the W and get our winning streak back on track.

Peter Friend

Youth 2 Women's Head Coach
