OUTSTANDING ARTIST!
Praise the Lord for another glorious day. Be encouraged no matter what’s going on. He will make everything alright, but we got to be strong. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. That is if we hold out. We must serve Him every day not just on Sundays. Have You Had Your Daily Word? Smiling With Love ď Š

Greetings Friends and Family, WOW! Seven Years…The Number Of Completion! I’d like to welcome you to our Anniversary Edition Of Sarah Magazine! Seven years ago, God led me to start this magazine and I am still here, going strong! My prayer is that in the seven years it’s been in publication, it has been a blessing to many. It’s been a while since the last publication. I started getting emails and calls from people asking, what happened to Sarah magazine? They wanted to know if and when it was coming back. So Ladies And Gentlemen, here it is, back again and I hope that it is worth the wait. Some of you don’t know the story about how this magazine started. A lot of people think that my name is Sarah. Instead of correcting them, I just smile. Since it’s our Seven Year Anniversary, I decided to share with my new readers and remind those who have been following the magazine what and how this all came about. Here’s The Short Of A Long Story; Some years ago I went through some really hard times; divorce, loss of my home, my job, you name it, it seemed like I was being hit from every direction! I thought I was going to lose my mind! Fast forwarding a few years, I had been through so much, and felt like my life was over. The majority of my friends were preparing for retirement and living their dreams. Here I was starting all over, when I should have been planning my retirement. Depression set in, all I could think about is that it was too late for me. As a Christian woman, I felt like such a failure! I began to pray to, or should I say complain to God about my messed up life. He led me to the book of Genesis in the bible. He reminded me of Sarah and Abraham. Long story short, Abraham was 100 years old and Sarah was 90 years old when they conceived a child (Gen. 18). He showed me that if Sarah could do it at 90, what was stopping me from doing what I needed to do. That encouraged me to keep pressing, no matter what. In 2009 I became a licensed minister and my first book was published all in the same year. That was a good year for me. I needed to advertise my book. It seemed that everywhere I went, advertising was astronomical! How in the world was I going to get what I had out there? I heard the spirit of God speak to me and say “Create What You Don’t Have”. WHAT?? That was my response. Again I heard “Create What You Don’t Have”. I decided to start my own magazine. To bring this story to a close, my thought was what I would call this magazine. I heard it as clear as day “SARAH, BECAUSE IT’S NEVER TOO LATE! That was the
5
beginning of this magazine. Sarah was birthed not only to create a platform for myself but to help others who had a story to tell or a business to advertise. I wanted to make it affordable as well as a ministry. Sarah is a Christian based but not limited to only Christians magazine, and it’s for all ethnicities, young and old. This magazine is here to minister to those who are thinking about giving up on their dreams and goals. At the end of every publication I remind you that It’s Never Too Late! If Sarah did it at ninety, What’s Stopping You? It doesn’t mean that you are birthing a child as she did, but you’re birthing a vision. That is the short of a long story. I would like to thank all of you who have helped, supported and encouraged me over the years. I could not have done it without you. You Know Who You Are. If you read some of the previous issues of Sarah you will see some that have been with me through thick and thin. I love you friends and family! Our Anniversary issue has something for your every need. Our two Featured Stories are going to blow you away. Stephanie Sanders is a beautiful woman of God with many gifts and talents. Make sure you contact, support and encourage her. Jordyn Abtahi is a young artist that will blow you away with her artistic talents. If you need artwork done, make sure you contact her. I know you’re anxious to turn the page and see all that’s in our Anniversary Issue. Make sure you contact and use all the services that are offered to you in this magazine. You don’t have to google or search for anything, everything you need in this month’s issue. Contact me I am open for suggestions, feedback and just some words of encouragement. Once again I thank you and appreciate you more than words can say! Most of all… TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Sarah magazine does not except anything that is contrary to our beliefs, 8 such as… profanity, your sexual preference or anything in that nature.
H
ey Sarah readers its that time of year again to get pumped up emotionally spiritually and physically. Let me be like your daily dose of caffeine without the jitters, although those that know me say I’m a little hyper but that’s okay it just means I have enough energy to share. So first things first; time to purge out negativity, Get rid of negative vocabulary, its so infectious, words like Can’t, Won’t, and even Maybe, It automatically sets you up for failure to not try. Let me repeat myself, it sets you up to NOT TRY, I didn’t say succeed or accomplish or win I said TRY! I’m a teacher I don’t too much worry about letter grades etc.. I mean my state says I have to but I don’t give them much value. Trying is what I grade myself on, my students on and my own children on. If you don’t try you end up in the world of “WONDERIF”. In this world you always ponder what would it have been like; hmmm I wonder if I would have liked it? STOP THAT… TRY IT! Go to the store and buy a piece of fruit or vegetable you never had but wondered what it taste like, something as simple as that, just try.
9
Now don’t get it twisted I’m not talking about anything negative that will harm you…I’m just saying. YOU GOTTA MOVE! I just turned 50 and I’m a woman entering that next stage of what the heck is going on with my body? It’s hard to want to get in some kind of exercise, but…we have to, we have to MOVE in all areas of life. Don’t sit still, move, read that bible more don’t just stay stuck on your favorite scripture, read something new, figure out how that applies to you in your life or how you can help someone apply it to theirs, but move, spread the word…Save A Soul. MOVE! When you are watching your favorite show, when the commercial comes on do some stretching, jog in place, arm circles, but move, get your body functioning. I’m not talking about Netflix, watch a show with some commercials folks, don’t try to cheat! Take the stairs instead of the elevator if you can, but Move that body, put some music on dance around, get up and shout to some Marvin Sapp! It is truly your time to elevate yourself to SHINE bright like the good Lords sun shine, time to bring light into whatever area of your life that’s dark, time to MOVE away from what’s just okay or comfortable and challenge yourself to TRY, Until next time, smile just because, love who you are, pray through and about everything, Sincerely,

Cuptoopia .com, Inc. is a technology startup focused on developing digital content such as Web Applications, Software, Smartphone Apps, Games, Ebooks, Music, TV Shows and Movies. Our mission is to create solutions to social and technology problems like Crime, Infant Mortality, Finance, Education, Transportation, Cyber Security and Economic Development. Hi my name is Charles E. Campbell. As a black African American, I wanted compete in technology and use the profits to solve social problems. I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the Ohio State University. After working within the Social Work Profession, I discovered that I was participating in the Poverty Industrial Complex, where the system was designed to maintain humans being in poverty, rather than eliminating it. I chose to leave social work and pursue my passion for solving problems. I have always had an inventive and creative mind. I'm currently halfway through an Electronic Engineer Technology Bachelor's degree program with a focus on Renewable Energy. I was issued a US Patent in 2013 for a new type of large scale hydroelectric power plant designed in a 70 story building. I believe that Black African American People are at risk of a negative impact, similar to the one cause by 20th Century technology advancement of the tractor, cotton picker and cotton gin that displaced millions in the South. In this century, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Automation will eliminate millions of professional and low waged jobs that Black African Americans depend on today. Our leaders have no plan to help us and we are not conscious enough to demand that they stop representing the issues of people who did not elect them and focus on ours. If we do not have a plan for our uplift and empowerment, others will create plans for our continued mass incarceration or elimination. I am driven to compete, but also use my talents to help my family, Black African American People and humanity. When we choose to eliminate Poverty and Hate, this nation and the world will be a better place to live, work, learn and play. 12
Eduipay is crowdfunding platform that allows anyone to give money using their payroll deduction process to anyone with a good cause. This Includes: Non-profits and religious churches. They can receive funds to support their social programs, such as a free food pantry, housing assistance, job training, after-school programs, free summer sports programs and free academic summer camps. HBCUs, UNCFs can accept funds from their staff, teachers, administrators, alumni, parents and supporters.
Seniors and aging parents. Aging Parents and Grandparents can receive funds from their children and grandchildren to help them with food, health care and medical expenses.
School Districts can raise funds to pay for mental health counseling staff, buy new classroom technology, pay for exposure trips, create student incentive rewards for excellence, add additional AP Courses, add sports program, create anti-bullying initiatives and school capital improvements in the district. To learn more about Eduipay visit my website. Eduipay https://www.eduiPay.com 13
Remember that it is our collective behavior that produces our social and economic conditions as black African American people. If we want change, we must change who and what we are taught, which controls how we think, which determines how we behave. Enslavement of the mind enslaves the physical body. When our collective minds become free, so will our people. If what you are taught to believe does not lead to the uplift and empowerment of yourselves and your people, it is a program and should be rejected. Fear of consequences for behavior is the foundation of a human behavior program. Identify yours and reject it. Replace fear with positive actions that promote unity, love and group empowerment. May 2018 Lupus of Nevada’s Nature Walk & Run at Springs Preserve captivated an array of individuals. As the planning stage developed the Holy Spirit touched my heart and the message received YOU. We will incorporate a Prayer Tent at the Lupus of Nevada’s Walk. Many individuals asked, a Prayer Tent, What For? I responded: John 15:16 –“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” We had Pastors, Elders, Ministers, Evangelists and The Hope Chaplains of Nevada. It was a glorious day sixteen years ago I couldn’t even imagine the success of Lupus of Nevada. God touched my heart and open the floodgate of blessings. Glory to God there is none like YOU! My name is Rosemary Rosencrans. I live in Somerset NJ with my love, Ash, and three dogs Bruno, Max & Joey. Max & Joey were dogs I fostered for Tiny Paws Rescue and fell in love!! I have been in business in NJ since 2010, 100% self-employed for the last two years, but have had my hand in accounting for most of my professional life. Building a remote services firm has always been very important to me, for a few reasons. Reducing the stress of the conflict between earning a living doing what I love and being available to those I love was the main driving force. As a young mother caring for her family, elderly parents, and spouse, I breathed that conflict. I wanted to be able to support and respond to my family needs, and invites! My wonderful son, Michael, lives in SC and welcomes me and the trio of dogs every few months. I have family spread across the country! I am blessed to be able to employee two fantastic women who do not have that conflict. So grateful to offer that opportunity!!

Hi my name is Wonderful Davidson. As a child, I was so fascinated with beautiful flowers. As I reflect back, I can remember walking 16 blocks back and forth to school slowly observing every flower I encountered, I was not in a rush to get to school. Once I figured out that I could use real flowers to put in my hair, I was happy go lucky! Wearing Flowers in my hair is a ritual for me. I feel so elegant and pretty wearing them. Likewise, since, I have retired; I decided to try my hand at making homemade headbands being that people are always inquiring about the ones I ware. I named my business after my Mothers Mother. I want to keep my grandmothers legacy alive in our family. My primary focus is to create unique headbands for women, children and infants. These are one of a kind headbands. God gives me these creative ideals and most of the time, I cannot recreate them. I call these homemade headbands" Festive Custom Headbands". They are for limited time use, not long term. You must be gentile with them, they are very delicate. They are created to accent your outfits. (For example, Church events, a Halloween party, Mardi Gras, a Ball, Tea Party, Cruises or whatever event, you plan to attend.) Women… you
know how it is! You don't want to see someone else with the same hat or dress on at an event you are attending. So be daring and let me create a stunning unique headband for you. You won’t be a double; you'll be the princess of the occasion. I plan to have my new line of holiday headbands ready in November. However, ladies if you are in need of a "Women’s Day Church Headband", prior to Christmas. Please Email me at: sharondavidson79@gmail.com or call 707-628-5850. My web page is in the process of being developed at this time. Please send me a picture of the type of headband, you would like. I only work with colors that are in season. You must allow me 3 weeks, being that I may need to order the flowers. The simple headbands start at $35.00 for the more elaborate ones, the cost will be quoted upon ordering. This does not include shipping and handling. All items are made to order. All sales are final! There are no returns or exchanges. I am looking forward to doing business with you in the near future.

Upon graduating most of her time has been spent working in a radio and educational environment.
She grew up Lakeland, Florida where she honed her character, personality and talents under the watchful eye of her mother Barbara (Sanders – at the time). Mrs. Barbara was and still is a school teacher in her own right. Retired now, but she has continued to use her gift for educating, mentoring, announcing and transforming lives as well as any room into a creative work of art. Stephanie happily accepts that she got it from her Momma when it comes to all of the creative talents she possesses.

Stephanie is also a wonderfully gifted Actress/Voice-Over Artist, Author and aspiring TV Host, Speaker, and Creator/Producer. Ms. Sanders has also used her voice as an On-Air Radio Personality from Central Florida to Seattle, WA for several years now and she wants to continue this journey and start a new show in a new market. She has been an avid part of the entertainment industry and she envisions taking her life and career to a whole nuther level and bless others along the way. She is also ready to begin her next music project with an eclectic mix of music for her gospel project.
More Day.
Stephanie understands that tomorrow is not promised, so be willing to live your best life today. She admits “Yes, it will be a sacrifice but we have the assurance that we will reap it we faint not.” This talented woman of God is not just a singer but an entrepreneur in her own right. She started Walk In Thought Productions and she continues to develop this production company to be all that it can be while using every talent she has been blessed with to build on her entertainment business.
Making Changes
After
some major transitions in her life she felt her gifts had fallen by the way side and she would never pick them up again. Following a hiatus her story and her zip code changed, but her talents remained the same. Dormant as they may have been she didn’t mind starting all over again. Stephanie decided she would never leave her talents by the way side again. God gave her One More Day in various areas of her life and she won’t take that for granted.

Stephanie: “I was prompted to write the book One More Day from my Debut CD’s cover track One More Day. I had done the original song and then decided to do a different version of the song for my first CD. After the success of the CD I really felt compelled to expound upon the reason for the song in the first place. So, I took it upon myself to begin to relive the moments prior to the song lyrics that came to me during a very trying and emotional time. The book became the culmination of various times in my life that left me with the same thought and feelings I had when I first began writing the song. Yes they were different moments in life but I still had to be honest with myself and really think about the words One More Day. You see we are not promised tomorrow or even the next moment but it’s the value we place on the gift of One More Day that will make the difference in how we live the rest of our lives.”
She knows that God is not through with her yet but in the midst of fulfilling her dreams she is willing to inspire others to go for theirs. In her music, her book, her acting and more, she is determined to give you her all. In doing so she hopes that you will feel and see her desire for you to use her life as an example and “Never let a problem become your excuse to quit,” Robert Schuller. She knows she can’t make you do anything when it comes to your life, career or your salvation, but she can bring it to the forefront and let you decide No matter what she does or where she goes, she knows God will always be in the midst of it all. There are many blessings with her name on them and she is going to get them all. Failure is not an option, not when she knows who holds her future and she is not afraid to give it another try. So, she asks the question… WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH YOUR ONE MORE DAY?

kind. We were loving and concerned. Most importantly, we were genuine. We learned a lot about what it means to truly forgive. We now understand that forgiving does not mean that what happened to us was right or acceptable. It does not mean that what we experienced felt good, but it means that we are freeing ourselves of the burden and bondage of unforgiveness. We are no longer controlled by what happened to us. When we see the individual that we forgave, we do not feel the powerful emotions of anger. We no longer have to choke back tears. We don’t feel fearful. What happened no longer dictates how we respond. We don’t have to avoid the individual, restricting our lives while they go freely about theirs. We ourselves are free because we have let it all go. We are not superhuman, but the power of God in our lives makes it possible for us to do what we could have never done on our own. We’ve forgiven.
By Iris Louella Jenkins
As difficult as it can be for us to forgive others, many of us have relied on God to help us to do it consistently. We have been mistreated, laughed at, lied on, backstabbed…we’ve experienced so many things. Things that required us to put aside our feelings and allow God to provide us the strength and guidance required to forgive. At times the damage occurred unintentionally and other times we knew in our hearts that the pain inflicted was intentional. Nevertheless, we also knew that God requires us to forgive. We understood that if we wanted to continue to receive God’s grace and mercy, we had to be willing to extend it to someone else.
As we continue on with God we find that forgiveness becomes a regular part of our lives. Yet there is one individual that we often have the most difficulty forgiving. We freely see the value in forgiving others, but do not seem to be able to forgive ourselves. All of us have done things, said things, made decisions that we are not proud of. Some of us work so hard to keep those things hidden. Others have no choice, their mistakes and blunders are out there, visible for the world to see and judge. Whatever the case, we all have to deal with what we’ve done. We can allow it to bind
In the midst of our hurt we prayed, and cried, and went before the Lord. We asked Him to help us and He did. In spite of what was done, in spite of what was said, God allowed us to move on in a manner that was pleasing in His sight. We were able to forgive what some said was unforgivable. We were able to love when love could have, and perhaps should have, waxed cold. We were able to free ourselves from holding grudges. We were patient and 32
us up in the same way that not forgiving others can, or we can forgive ourselves and allow ourselves to be free; free to be our BEST selves.
Sometimes we are so caught up in the mistakes we’ve made, that we miss out on what God is trying to do in our lives. We hold ourselves hostage, not forgiving ourselves, constantly reminding ourselves of our failures instead of realizing God’s plan of success. Just as we forgive others, we must forgive ourselves. Just as we love others, we must love ourselves. Unforgiveness is a burden. Unforgiveness keeps us in bondage. Let’s not just free ourselves when it comes to forgiving others. Let’s be freed completely by forgiving ourselves also.
I was in my early 20s when God first began to deal with me in the area of word of knowledge. He would reveal things to me about people, showing me what they had experienced, showing me something they had never told me about, and urging me to share His words with them. I was shy about it in the beginning. Unsure. There were times when I made mistakes, said things out of emotion that were not from God. They were things I truly believed, but God had not prompted them. How embarrassing! So when God would prompt me, when I did feel the urging of the Holy Spirit, I would hold back. I couldn’t get over my mistakes. Just like that, I’d boxed myself in. I had to ask God to forgive me for the mistakes I’d made when I hadn’t known His voice, but I also had to ask God to forgive me for not moving when He’d told me to move. It was a fact that I’d made mistakes, but what was not a fact was my being unable to be used by God. He still had use for me. I just had to get to know His voice. I just had to be willing to do what it took to be sure I was hearing Him, that I didn’t miss him. I had bound myself up, when I could have been free. It was important that as I received God’s forgiveness I also forgave myself, so that I would no longer be hindered by my own thoughts, restricted by the bounds I myself had placed.

OUTSTANDING ARTIST! OUR AUGUST

ITH
URPOSE
Hello, my name is Jordyn Abtahi. I am 14 years old and will be a freshman at Hillcrest High School in Simpsonville, South Carolina. I was also accepted into the Fine Arts Center in Greenville, South Carolina. While attending, I will spend my mornings at the art center and my afternoons at Hillcrest High.
I live with my mother Berri, my father Hamid and my younger sister Sarah in Simpsonville, South Carolina. I also have an older stepbrother, Johnathan, who lives in Tucson, Arizona. My brother visits us when he can.
I have maintained all A’s and B’s throughout my school years and have received many scholastic awards including: All A’s honor roll, A-B honor roll, Principal’s Award and many art awards. This past year I received the “President’s Education Award” for Outstanding Academic Achievement, Outstanding Art Performance 8th Grade, and an award for receiving a 100% on the English 1 End Of Course exams. I think education is very important and that everyone should push himself or herself to do their best.
For as long as I can remember, I was always drawing. Much of my time was spent coloring and drawing. I would draw when I wasn’t even supposed to or would draw on worksheets, and I still do. I inherited my artistic ability and passion from my PaPap. He was a talented artist, and he would also carve ice and wood. People from all over commissioned his work. We sometimes drew together and he would help me when I had trouble. He was my first art teacher and a huge part of who I am today. To this day, I secretly hope to still make him proud even though he passed from prostate cancer back in January of 2013.
I was born in Birmingham, Alabama where I lived until I was 8 years old. My early childhood was spent with family and spent occasional time with friends. We lived on Logan Martin Lake, Pell City, Alabama where we spent most of our time boating and swimming.
36
Besides drawing, I really enjoy makeup. Trying new techniques and doing makeup on others is pleasurable. One of my other hobbies is photography, and I hope to learn and experiment more in the future. Making people happy and meeting new people, learning new cultures and trying new foods is what I like to do as well. Like other teens I also like to occasionally hang out with my friends, watch YouTube, and listen to music, new and old. I listen to jazz, rock, emotional, and every so often rap.
There’s a lot of advice I could tell other kids but I’ll break it down and keep it short. Just know that a lot of the things you accomplish in life has to do with your mindset, and that you can do whatever you want to do as long as you stay positive. I know school isn’t for everybody and you shouldn’t be too hard on yourself. Things in life get hard but know that you can get through it. Now I know it sounds cliché, but it really is true. One more thing, don’t try so hard to fit in because you’re great the way you are and normal can get pretty boring.
On the following pages you will see the beautiful art work of this talented young lady.

Jordyn, It seems like yesterday that you were just a baby. We looked at your precious face and wondered where life would take you. Today, and always please know that we see YOU. We see the path you are making that’s all your own. We see the many unique talents and gifts you have to share. Your brilliance, your enthusiasm and how deeply you care and hurt sometimes. We don’t always see eye-to-eye but know we love you unconditionally. You have filled our life with sass and sweetness and always teach us a thing or two. We are so proud of how compassionate you are and how wise you are above your years; knowing beauty does not come from the physical image you see in the mirror but from unconditional goodness. Please always stay strong, caring and optimistic. Never lose your courage, confidence, and always know your self-worth. Our dream for you is for you to keep your strength to chase your dreams and understand that any mistakes you make really are not mistakes, they are your stepping-stones to achieve your dreams. Stay humble and enjoy life’s journey. Remember to take time to help others along the way and always listen to your heart. Always know you are never alone, we will always be here for you no matter what. We are so proud of you, and love you beyond measure with all of our hearts! XOXO, Mom & Dad

THANK YOU FOR VIEWING!
This quote is 100% true. My choices were for a very long time a reflection of my fears. I was scared to be the one God made me to be, to fail, to have my own company, to follow my dreams; in other words to be the woman I am today and the one I will be tomorrow. But I learned to follow my intuitions because it’s the road map to where I’m supposed to do or be next and this is true. Some call intuitions « the voice of your guardian angel » if you believe in this. Regardless of your beliefs always listen to your inner voice. It’s a simple but yet life changing decision. Fear stops us from moving forward, but fear is a human emotion and it’s ok to be afraid but we must learn to control it. Let’s never forget that everything is in your mind; that’s the only control we have. We have no power over exterior events but our thoughts are ours so stay positive at every moment. Positive thoughts generate positive outcomes if you doubt, nothing good will come out .
But first things first, let me introduce myself. I’m Grace; I’m from Paris, France. I’m a Travel entrepreneur and soon to be a self-published author luckily by the end of the year. My name is Elizabeth Miles, and I am from Philadelphia, PA. I was born and raised in Philadelphia, and am the wife of a middle school science teacher, and mom to four awesome children. I attended school at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, obtaining a degree in psychology, and a master’s degree in business from Keller Graduate School of Management. I also completed culinary school at Art Institute of Philadelphia. I am the owner of Let’s Bake Cookie Company, a retail bakery offering scratch-baked desserts, as well as cooking classes and birthday parties for children and adults, and Sweet Ladybug Baked Goods, which produces a dedicated gluten-free line of fresh-baked treats. I believe that food has the power to bring people together. I have the amazing opportunity to see that every day during a class or event at the store. Food creates community, and I am so grateful to be able to help contribute to that. We are all so busy in our daily lives, so part of our mission is to provide time for people to come together (through a birthday party or cooking class) and have some fun with food and cooking. As a little girl, I was in the kitchen with my grandparents watching them mix up some amazing food. They never used recipes. It was always “a little of this, and a dash of that.” When I was 10, my grandfather gave me my first cookbook. There was a recipe for cinnamon raisin bread in there, which became the first thing I ever mixed and baked on my own from scratch. I fell in love with the wonderful aroma, and kneading the dough was (and still is) a joy for me. From then on, I always had a dream of opening my own bakery.
48
I completed culinary school in 2012, and while I worked in sales and project management, before launching my business, I also worked in retail and wholesale bakeries in the region. In 2016, I launched Sweet Ladybug, a dedicated gluten-free line, and was working at farmers’ markets local to the Philadelphia area. After doing a few in-home parties, I started looking for a place that I could call my own to be able to provide more services for those who also love food and fun. In March 2018, Let’s Bake Cookie Company became my home. We are providing fresh-baked treats, from scratch, daily in our store. Customers can come in and purchase treats, and we also offer Dessert Trays, And We Ship. With our parties and classes, we are looking to give guests a fun, interactive experience, making them the star of the day, and teaching them tips and tricks that they can replicate in their own kitchen. Life is about the journey, not the destination. Live every day - every minute - to the fullest. Live. Laugh. Love. Be willing to take risks and make your dreams come true. As Nehemiah led the Israelites to rebuild the wall they faced many obstacles. They faced many challenges together. They dealt with tired workers, they dealt with mockery, they dealt with fear, they dealt with strife, they dealt with slander, they dealt with laughter, and they dealt with ridicule. Nehemiah was personally attacked.
need to continue to pray. Why is it that the people of God have to be begged to pray? No one wants to take time to pray until you get into a situation, and then we’re trying to call down fire. When you store up your prayers then you have something to fight the enemy back, you can’t wait until you’re in a dilemma before you start praying. The enemy will fight the strongest saint, he’ll let you feel good for a while, and then all chaos breaks loose in your life, and then you have no prayers stored up. I’m here to tell you that God will help us overcome that battle from the smallest obstacle to the hardest and strongest obstacle! God said; “I give you power to tread on serpents. “ If God has given us power to tread on serpents, He’s given you the strength and power to deal with the liars, those
In this season we have to realize that we are going to face obstacles. We know that obstacles will try to obstruct us in any area of our lives. It matters not what your title is in the church or in the secular world, they will certainly come. No one is exempt from going through these obstacles. It’s important that you realize how you handle those obstacles. When we go through obstacles we need to continue to diligently seek God, we need to continue to study God’s work, we need to continue to fast, and we

that fibbed on you, those that try to cause deception in your life, those that has caused chaos in your life, those that has mistreated you, those that voluntarily try to cause disruption in your life, and those that have tried to cause disruption in the house of God. “You think God don’t see what’s going on.” We have to be like Job when he said; “though he slay me yet will I trust Him.” You say you’re running for God, and you’re not tired yet. You say you trust God. “Well let me say this; you said it, do you think for once that you’re not going to be tested at your word?” Let Me Wake You Up. The enemy hears you too. He said okay; let’s see if you can stand the test! He tests you, and you’re the first one to fall. It’s time out for the saints to stop letting the devil beat you all across the head. It’s time out for you to stop letting the enemy walk all over you. Where is the power that God has given you to fight back? He has given us all power, and if He has given us all power to fight the enemy; then you need to put your war clothes on and be ready for battle and come with full force ready to trample over Satan’s head!
You have full power to go through every obstacle that you face. God didn’t say you wouldn’t get tired, but just because you’re tired; it doesn’t mean to stop. Every opposition that Nehemiah faced with rebuilding the wall is the same type of oppositions that people of God will face. In this season as the church, the people of God need to pull together, then we will be able to pull down strong holds. The bible says that one can chase a thousand, and two can put ten thousand to flight, so as the body of Christ, we need to pull together with prayer and worship, because it will definitely break up some things in the atmosphere, and when we start pulling together with prayer and praise you will begin to experience supernatural miracles, deliverance, and people will begin to get set free from bondage. God will start moving through your life. Remember There Is No Obstacle That You Can’t Run The Course. (2 Tim. 4:7)

You will need 10 Pork Chops with the bone in. If you are not fond of Pork, use 5 T Bone Steaks
Grilled Barbecue Pork Chops Or T Bone Steak Homemade Potato Salad Corn On The Cob Stove Top Baked Beans
1 ½ tsps. Garlic Powder 1 tsp. Onion Powder 1 tsp. Season Salt 1 Bottle of Barbecue Sauce (original) Wash and pat dry Pork Chops or Steaks. In a small bowl mix Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, and Season Salt. This is going to be used as a rub for your meat. Rub seasonings on both sides of meat. Place on a pan in a single layer and cover with plastic wrap and let sit in the refrigerator for one hour. While your meat is marinating, heat up your grill.
(Note: if you are using a charcoal grill add some apple flavored wood chips to your charcoals this gives the meat a great taste). Place your meat on the hot grill. When the meat is halfway done, start basting it with Barbecue Sauce, this allows the sauce to cook into the meat. Cook it to your desired doneness. Once done baste it with more Barbecue Sauce cover with foil and place it in a warm oven, let it sit in the oven while you prepare the rest of your dinner.
For those who are using Pork in this recipe, use the Season Salt to your taste. 56

WHO IS SUNSHINE MINISTRIES? For those who have never heard or attended an RRCON Conference, here’s a little history of how it all began.
The Late Bishop William O. Wills Jr. started teaching bible study from his parents’ home in 1980. The ministry got so big that they decided to start their own ministry in 1981. In 1982 they started Sunshine Ministry with their son William O. Wills Jr. as the teacher. It started out with them teaching from home, as it grew they started teaching out of hotels and that is how Sunshine Ministries began. What Is RRCON? For the first two years they would do the traditional Church Anniversary. Approaching the third year of their ministry Bishop William O Wills Jr. had a vision to do a Racial Reconciliation Conference (RRCON), instead of the Traditional Church Anniversary. This became a great and powerful ministry! They hosted their first conference with Meadowlark Lemon as their special guest speaker. RRCON Conference has grown so big over the years with celebrity guest attending, such as; The Winans (mom and pop), Tye Tribett, Dr. Myles Monroe, Explosion and that’s just to name a few! In 1987 they were able to purchase their own church with William Jr. as the Senior Pastor. The Vision/ Ministry Continues William Jr.’s vision was and is to break down racial barriers. Every year since 1987, Sunshine Ministries has sponsored a city wide conference to discuss racial/ cultural differences and find realistic ways for people to work together and respect each other. In May 2013, they suffered a great loss, when the Man Of God, Bishop William O. Wills Jr. went home to be with the Lord. This was a most devastating time for his family, friends and the people who had the honor of meeting him. He left such an impact on so many people and is greatly missed.
60
The Legacy Lives On Fast forwarding to now. The legacy lives on through his parents Martha and William Wills Sr. (A.K.A. mom and pop). The conferences continue every year with people of all races and cultures. In June 2018, they celebrated their Thirty Second (32nd) RRCON Awakening Conference. The next conference will be in June 2019. Come Join The Fun If you’ve never attended one of these conferences, you are missing an awesome treat! The Awakening Conference (RRCON) is collaboration of Churches, Ministries, and Organizations seeking to affect change, to create Unity, and transform our region into a place where the Kingdom Of God resides in full splendor. Come and learn why Diversity Sensitivity is so important in the world. Make Plans To Attend The Next Conference! It’s a three day event; each day is an Enlightening, Encouraging, and Enjoyable time! The final night is a Banquet with Preaching, Food, Awards and Fellowshipping. They have had guest from all over the world attending this event. The Wills Family would like to see you at the next conference! If you would like to know more about the RRCON Conference, contact information is provided below. SEE YOU AT THE 2019 CONFERENCE!
