Greetings My Friends And Family; I pray that all is well with everyone. It’s the month of March and the color is green. St. Patrick’s Day is on the 17th of this month. It’s all about luck. I remember as a child people would say if you found a four leaf clover that you would have good luck all year. We would spend all day picking clovers trying to find one with four leaves. We were so convinced that this leaf would bring good luck to us. Needless to say we never found one. It was still fun searching and we all looked forward to wearing green on St. Patrick’s Day. I know you heard all the different stories about the leprechaun and the pot of gold. So many thoughts come to mind when I think back on my childhood and St. Patrick’s Day. We as Christians know that we don’t depend on luck or four leaf clovers; it’s all about Jesus and his blessings. Enjoy the holiday, just remember, as long as we are serving King Jesus we don’t have to worry about anything. So to all HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY! Now let’s talk about last month’s issue and what’s in this month’s issue of Sarah. Did you enjoy the cover story? Kenya Perkins had a powerful testimony. It is so refreshing to see such a beautiful young woman on fire for God. She is such an inspiration to many young
Ladies. If you haven’t taken the time to read her story please do, and allow your young daughters to read it as well. As you all know by now that I also did a tribute to my mom who passed away two days after Christmas. I would like to thank you all for your kind words of condolences and most of all for your prayers. We are all still grieving, but we know we must continue with our everyday lives. So once again, my family and I thank you so much! Now about this month’s issue of Sarah. PEOPLE BRACE YOURSELVES, this is a powerful story!! Dr. Ethel James, first of all I call her my new sister, it’s like we have been knowing each other for years, but yet we have never met in person. When I and this woman of God talk on the phone, it’s like Sarah and Elizabeth …something jumps in my womb, we have kindred spirits. The things that God is showing us, is Awesome! People when you read the Dr. James’s story.. OH MY GOD…did I say BRACE YOURSELF??? She is not holding back on anything! Usually we limit the amount of pages, but when it’s ministering to the people, we let it flow. So don’t focus on how many pages it is, but focus on what this powerful woman is saying. This story will make you forget the amount of pages. Take your time, get some tea or coffee and read, I know you will enjoy it. Normally we put the feature story in the middle, but because of the length of it, we saved the best for last! Make sure you check out the pictures at the end of the story, I am sure you are going to see some very familiar faces.
Once again thank you for being such faithful readers of Sarah. Contact me tell me how we are doing. Remember we are an online magazine as well as in hard copy. Make sure you order your copies and tell your friends and family about Sarah magazine. If you would like to be featured in one of the upcoming months, contact me with a brief bio about yourself, you might be the next face on the cover of Sarah. This magazine is here to let the world know that IT’S NEVER TOO LATE!. Someone is waiting and needs to hear your story, let us help you share it with the world. God takes what we think is a mess and turns it into a message. I’m looking forward to hearing from you. God bless

March 17th is St. Patrick’s Day.
This day, everyone wears green so they don’t get pinched and drink green beer. This day is full of fun and gayety. People do what they are accustomed to, without any thought to what they are celebrating!
the fourth is for luck.
So, I did a little research as to what this holiday represents. It is believed that he was born in Roman Britain in the fourth century, into a wealthy Romano-British family. His father was a deacon and his grandfather was a priest in the Christian church. According to his book, the Declaration, at the age of sixteen, he was kidnapped by Irish raiders and taken as a slave to Gaelic Ireland. It says that he spent six years there working as a shepherd and that during this time he “found God”. The Declaration says that God told Patrick to flee to the coast, where a ship would be waiting to take him home. After making his way home, Patrick went on to become a priest.
What is faith? According to Hebrews 11:1: “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” (NIV) Hmmmm…
According to legend, Saint Patrick used the three-leaved shamrock to explain The Trinity to Irish pagans. According to tradition, Patrick returned to Ireland to convert the pagan Irish to Christianity. The Declaration says that he spent many years evangelizing in the northern half of Ireland and converted “thousands” to Christ. Tradition also states that he died on 17 March and was buried at Downpatrick. Over the following centuries, many legends grew up around Patrick and he became Ireland’s foremost saint. Shamrocks, or 4 leafed clovers represent “good luck.” According to tradition, it brings good luck to their finders, especially if found accidentally. In addition, each leaf is believed to represent something: the first is for faith, the second is for hope, the third is for love, and
What is luck? According to the Webster’s dictionary, luck is “a purposeless, unpredictable and uncontrollable force that shapes events favorably or unfavorably for an individual, group or cause”.
Okay, now if luck is depended on some unknown force, and faith is supported by God, why do we depend on luck? We use the word luck very flippantly, and faith not enough! Think about that! And what is even funnier is that St. Patrick was a Christian, not some mythical figure whose origin was from Ireland. He was a man who, through transformation, learned and believed in God and tried to spread The Word to everyone he could reach! So, when you put on your green this month, and go to pinch someone who is not wearing green, tell them about God and what He has done in your life instead! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

So you don’t want to have a Mammogram....There are other ways to detect Breast Cancer!!
B
reast Cancer awareness and prevention is paramount to your overall health! So you say Mammograms are uncomfortable and they hurt! Well, there are other alternatives to accomplishing the mission. Here are other procedures that you can use to make sure you take care of your yearly Breast Cancer screenings. According to the National Cancer Institute, the following can be used to detect Breast Cancer and can vary depending on each individual situation and family history of the disease.
waves, and a computer to make a series of detailed pictures of areas inside the body. This procedure is also called nuclear magnetic resonance imaging (NMRI). MRI does not use any x-rays. MRI is used as a screening test for women who have one or more of the following: •
Certain gene changes, such as in the BRCA1 or BRCA2 genes.
•
A family history (first degree relative, such as a mother, daughter or sister) with breast cancer.
•
Certain genetic syndromes, such as LiFraumeni or Cowden syndrome.
Clinical breast exam (CBE) A clinical breast exam is an exam of the breast by a doctor or other health professional. The doctor will carefully feel the breasts and under the arms for lumps or anything else that seems unusual. It is not known if having clinical breast exams decreases the chance of dying from breast cancer. Breast self-exams may be done by women or men to check their breasts for lumps or other changes. It is important to know how your breasts usually look and feel. If you feel any lumps or notice any other changes, talk to your doctor. Doing breast self-exams has not been shown to decrease the chance of dying from breast cancer.
MRIs find breast cancer more often than mammograms do, but it is common for MRI results to appear abnormal even when there isn’t any cancer. Other screening tests are being studied in clinical trials. Thermography
MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) in women with a high risk of breast cancer
Thermography is a procedure in which a special camera that senses heat is used to record the temperature of the skin that covers the breasts. A computer makes a map of the breast showing the changes in temperature. Tumors can cause temperature changes that may show up on the thermogram.

Do What’s Right! Recently I ordered a logo design from another small business owner and the process didn’t go well . Actually it went less than well. The experience was horrible! Not only did the business owner keep me waiting for my logo for over 3 months with tons of excuses, but their finished product of a logo was for the WRONG company! I cringe when I think of my logo purchase because I knew the small business owner personally which made my experience somewhat awkward when my order wasn’t completed in a timely manner. Secondly, I had already paid the company for my logo so not having a logo added unnecessary stress.
not kill” My issue with my logo and the business owner wasn’t so much about the business owner not being able to deliver what I needed. It was the point that the company failed to apologize and attempt to fix the issue. Instead the business owner opted to KILL my spirit about why I requested the logo. They in turn spoke negatively about my business, my business practices and to sum it up stated I was and have wasted a lot of time with the way I’m attempting to grow my business. I’m a outgoing business owner and I believe in constructive criticism, however in this situation any tips or helpful business hints should have came prior to my request or payment was made. The words the business owner spoke could have killed my joy and everything I that I love about my business, but I stayed strong and positive and in the end I requested that the business keep the money I paid because the same way I strongly believe “thou shall not kill” ——–>I also believe “thou shall NOT steal.” Ultimately, in life you get what you plant. Or should I say you reap what you sow.
I patiently waited for my logo going on close to four months and the night of the great reveal I started to get a ugly gut feeling. You know the feeling that lets you know that you’ve made a bad decision. After seeing the logo and the incorrect order the only thing that I could say was, “I am sad”. It was the truth, I can’t really think of any words that describes the way I felt. Here’s a lesson to all businesses, both large and small: Always attempt to do what’s right by It was clear that my order or my business your customers. In saying that, it’s obvious that wasn’t taken serious. you won’t be able to please every customer, but some customers will appreciate your I honestly feel that once money exchanged efforts in trying. hands all of their business ethics went out the window. Healthy Hair Tips With Urfavstylist Worthy to be Loved and Properly Cared for! By Dianna “Urfavstylist Grissette Hair is a unique fiber that grows from our skin. It is truly a work of art that could only be created by a magnificent God! Hair keeps us warm, protects us, aids in the release of toxins from our body, and gives us another way to express our personalities. We use hair to embellish, enhance and distinguish our images. It is used to define our cultural, social and sometimes our religious status. Breaking hair down chemically clearly illustrates how complex it really is. The book titled Hair Loss and Camouflage by Doris F. Mosley and her styling team reads that hair is made of the following: 50% Carbon, the same element that creates diamonds. 20% Oxygen, the same as the air we breathe to live. 17% Nitrogen, the same element used to make dynamite. 6% Hydrogen, the same element found in rocket fuel. 5% Sulfur, the same element used to make gun powder. And 2% random trace elements.
If a miracle is defined as an amazing product, achievement, or an outstanding example of something, then it is safe to say that our hair is nothing short of a miracle! Hair is a great creation produced by God. For this reason alone you should be motivated to learn how to properly take care of and be gentle with it. If you’re not convinced, read both Luke 12:7 and Matthew 10:30 in the bible. Both verses state that “the very hairs on our head are all numbered.” God took the time to number each and every strand of hair on our heads and each and every strand is worthy to be loved and properly cared for. With these things in mind here are a few hair tips to help you stay on top of loving your hair: 1. Be gentle with your hair when combing and detangling. Detangle your hair from the end up. 2. Keep your hair clean and hydrated. 3. If you chose to chemically alter your hair let a professional do it. 4. Chose hairstyles that are not damaging to your hair. 5. Don’t be afraid of a trim and let those bad ends go.

This month I prepared scriptures for your meditation moments with Christ. This 40-day preparation before Easter Sunday is time for us all to go into our prayer closets. God is good all the time he is a present loving and dedicated to our needs. So now I ask you, who is the source of your strength?
Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. 1 Chronicles 16:11 Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually! Exodus 15:2 The LORD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God,
and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me. Psalm 18:32-34 The God who equipped me with strength and made my way blameless. He made my feet like the feet of a deer and set me secure on the heights. He trains my hands for war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. Psalm 119:23 Even though princes sit plotting against me, your servant will meditate on your statutes. Psalm 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Matthew 17:20 He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will
say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” Mark 10:52 And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way. Matthew 21:21 And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith anddo not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen. Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” John 16:33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Strength Bible Verses-
Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. 2 Timothy 1:7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. Job 13:15 Though he slay me, I will hope in him; yet I will argue my ways to his face. Romans 5:5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to John-11:25-26 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. (NIV)
Romans 1:4-5 And Jesus Christ our Lord was shown to be the Son of God when God powerfully raised him from the dead by means of the Holy Spirit. Through Christ, God has given us the privilege and authority to tell Gentiles everywhere what God has done for them, so that they will believe and obey him, bringing glory to his name. (NLT)
Philippians 3:10-12 I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. (NIV)
Romans 6:8-11 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. (NIV)
1 Peter 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead... (NIV)
Matthew 27:50-53 And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split. The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs, and after Jesus' resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people. (NIV)
Matthew 28:1-10 After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his
disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you." So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me." (NIV) Mark 16:1-8 When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus' body. Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb and they asked each other, "Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?" But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. "Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and
Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.' " Trembling and bewildered, the women went out and fled from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid. (NIV)

I’ve experienced some health challenges as a result of going through cancer treatment in 2013. Some of which have caused me not to feel like the old me I remember before this all began. While I am grateful to have endured the hardship and come out on the other side, I cannot help but find the cares of life creeping into my headspace and trying to take up residence. So I understand what the songwriter knew and who they were drawing strength and insight from when they wrote this song. You see, this life is moving swiftly for each of us and as it passes by we cannot help but experience the good and the bad which is common to all. The only problem is we often find ourselves sinking emotionally and physically under the weight of these cares when God wants us to hold tightly to His hand and allow Him to do the work. You see, allowing God to take the lead requires us surrendering what we think should be done and how it should be done. I know it is easier said than done. Surrendering requires us humbling ourselves and in our ego driven society meekness, for many, equates to weakness, but according to God’s design therein is our true strength.
1 Peter 5:6-7 says, “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time. Casting all your care upon him for He cares for you.” Webster’s I’ve spent most of the day with this defines humble as “reflecting, expressing, or song in my head and when I think back over offered in a spirit of deference or submission,” the last few months I know why. Recently and these scriptures are reminding us that if we Copyright: Public Domain
can and will submit, God will, on His timetable. So how does one humble self under the hand of God? For me verse 7 holds the key. Submit and surrender to God by acknowledging, “God I cannot do it, handle it, or fix it.” We all like to think we have it all together and we love conveying that persona to those around us by what we say and do, the real truth is we do not.
trusting in God to keep him protected him left in his own strength with his own crowd of people who now had their trust in him and he lost it all. So much so that those he’d surrounded himself with now wanted to kill him for causing them to lose it all (1 Samuel 30: 6) and somewhere in the midst of this he managed to humble himself and seek God for help. (1 Samuel 30:7-8) God made him a promise because like 1 Peter 5:7b Don’t get me wrong, there are times say “He cares for you.” God cared enough to when we are resting because we have spent that hear his cry and David recovered all. quality time in prayer, the word and worship. Not out of ritual do we pray, read and worship We, like David, must learn to encourage but rather we do it because of our relationship ourselves in the Lord, which means to remind and then it becomes easy to get out of God’s ourselves of who God is and what God can way. However, in those times when we are not do. David casted that care of everyone who drenched in the water of the word, and the followed him now turning on him, the care of oil of the anointing from spending close time, all the women and children taken away unto we can find ourselves picking up things (cares, the Lord and found the strength to take back worries, issues, problems) that we would have what was his and some extra! Remember what otherwise given to God. What God is saying is the Lord has done for you, whether it was last “If you trust me then it is not hard to watch week or last month. Remember! When we me instead of trying to help me.” Something spend time rehearsing our past victories and should click inside of us that gets us back to a reminding ourselves who gave us the win; we place of surrender. should have full assurance (Blessed Assurance!) of who can and WILL help us out of our next Real trust is what we say with our dilemma. That is when we say like the psalmist mouths, believe in our heart (casting our cares) with confidence, “I looked to the hills from and rest in the calm assurance that He can which comes my help; MY help comes from the handle it. Then we have humbled ourselves Lord.” by taking our hands off of it and saying “you handle it.” This example reminds me of David Minister LaNita Price is a native of in 1 Samuel 27: 5-6 and how he and his men Lakeland, Florida born to Charles and had run from King Saul and taken up refuge in Barbara Sanders. Model Brittney Boudreau
Hi everyone, it’s Alexys and I’m here for Teen Talk Real Talk! How have all of you been? I’ve been pretty busy lately. February was a hectic month for me. I had a big project due for my social studies class thankfully I got it done and I hope I got a good grade. Did anyone have a valentine this year? Mine was Jesus Christ! Anyways this month I want to talk about suicidal thoughts etc. I have seen this all over the internet, TV and even at school. Everyone wants to hurt themselves or run away. They think the solution is leaving the world or slitting their wrists. We see this every day and what do we do? We can’t just let this happen to people. Something is happening that is causing them to think suicide or cutting is the answer! As Christians we know that we just need to pray to get help
from our father, but they don’t know that. We need to help them understand that God is the only one that can help them. They are hurting themselves because other people are putting them down. We need to feed them the word and eventually it will take over their life. We don’t want suicidal thoughts to fill their heart, mind and spirit; God needs to be their main thought. I know a lot of people who cut their wrists or have tried to commit suicide and none of them know God as their Lord and savior. They know who He is and they may even “BELIEVE” in Him but they don’t want to let Him in. We need to show them how great our God is and that He could work a miracle in their life. A lot of times, they won’t listen. So what? We keep trying and we pray for them anyways. We pray and ask Him to help them believe in him fully and have faith. We can’t let the population of the world drop because people are taking their own lives. This also ties back to the Teen Talk Real Talk I did several months back about bullying. There are many reasons why people harm themselves but bullying is a major reason why. People pick on them and hurt them and that makes them think that the world would be a better place without them. We all need to get them to know that they are extremely important to someone in this world and they can’t do that to themselves. Who cares what people think? As long as you have God then it doesn’t matter. Before I go, I just need all you to know that we have to help people with suicidal thoughts. Pray for them and tell them about God. Tell them that he sent his son Jesus to die on a cross and that he forgives our sins. They need to know that he will save them. I want to hear from you, what are your thoughts on this subject? Email me at mysarahmagazine@gmail.com!!!! Don’t forget to pray and love God! Bye!

lupus, and better epidemiological data on lupus globally. The enclosed materials provide background information about lupus and its impact.
World Lupus Day- Lupus of Nevada’s Autoimmune Lupus Seminar
Featuring Dr. Djemel Ait-Azzouzene Lupus groups around the world have united to sponsor the ninth World Lupus Day observance on May 10, 2015. At least five million people worldwide have lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease that strikes mostly young women of childbearing age. World Lupus Day will focus on the need for heightened public awareness, improved patient healthcare services, increased research into the causes of and a cure for lupus, enhanced physician diagnosis and treatment of
This year Lupus of Nevada will host a seminar featuring Dr. Djemel AitAzzouzene is a seasoned immunologist with thorough knowledge of immune tolerance in heath and systemic autoimmune diseases with emphasis on the mechanisms leading to immune tolerance failure in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). The event will take place on Saturday May 9th at Lord of Harvest, from 10:30 am until 2:30 pm, at 2777 W Craig Rd., # 103, North Las Vegas, Nevada, 89032. All are welcome. Lupus affects more than just the person with the disease -- it also impacts their family, friends, and work colleagues. Still, it is widely under-recognized as a global health problem by the public, health professionals, and governments, driving the need for greater awareness. Early recognition, diagnosis and treatment of lupus help to slow the debilitating effects of the disease. However, lupus is often difficult to diagnose because
symptoms frequently mimic common illnesses. Increasing awareness of lupus will save lives. World Lupus Day was first observed in 2004, and a number of special events were held to highlight its importance. Most significant was the issuing of the inaugural World Lupus Day Proclamation, recognizing this historic day and demonstrating concern for the needs of millions of individuals globally. This year, lupus organizations hope even more governments will sign and endorse the Proclamation. Please join the international effort to increase public awareness and understanding of lupus by promoting the 10th annual World Lupus Day in your publication. Donations for Lupus members; $15.00 - General public $25.00 for admission. Seating is limited. By Renée Purdie What would you do if your office burned down or—on a (seemingly) smaller scale)—your laptop “blew up?” (OK, I mean after you stopped screaming and/or crying …) To minimize the impact of occurrences like this, it’s important to learn about disaster recovery. As small business owners, we often wear a lot of hats, including: operations, marketing, accounting, copywriting and HR. There’s another important one to add to the list: disaster recovery specialist. Words are important, but whether you want to call it disaster recovery or business continuity planning, it’s important to ensure that you create and implement a plan. Key areas to consider
Hardware (networks, servers, desktop and laptop computers, wireless devices and peripherals … backup power supply, climate control, etc.) Connectivity to a service provider (fiber, cable, wireless, etc.) and phone services Software (electronic mail, office productivity, CRM, etc.) Data restoration (electronic and paper) Insurance
Some suggested tasks Develop a strategy to ensure that all critical information is backed up on a regular basis, either with some sort of data redundancy such as RAID or in the cloud. Keep a copy both on and off site. Identify critical software applications and the hardware required to run them. Using standardized hardware will help to replicate and reimage new hardware. Ensure that legal copies of software are available to enable re-installation on replacement equipment. Prioritize hardware and software restoration. Make a list of: o supplier names and contact information. o equipment serial numbers, passwords, etc.
o insurance providers with their contact numbers and your policy information. o your active clients. If you’re worried about security, put it in a security deposit box as well as an electronic file with a password, especially if it contains sensitive data such as social security numbers. Develop a strategy for advising all of your clients of a change in office address or phone numbers, such as having a landing page prepared that your website provider can display when you call them or some sort of back-end app that will allow you to contact all of your clients via text. Make sure that you have sufficient insurance! Create forecasts for software and equipment replacement. Staffing costs should also be considered as well as possible rental accommodation. Of course, this is not an exhaustive list, but it should give you some things to think about to minimize the loss of time, money and your sanity! Do you need help with formulating a business continuity plan or taking your business to the next level?

Signed, Just Asking
??I am a single Christian woman, living single is not easy!!
So brace yourselves people…this is my question. I know it’s wrong to have sex before marriage, sooo my questions is…what do you do when the urge hits? I am wrong if I satisfy myself and not go out there and fall into the sin of fornicating? I get so many responses when I ask this question. Somebody tell me..what’s a girl to do?
Signed, A Girl That’s Confused
??Somebody once told me that if you don’t use it, you lose it.. (if you know what I mean) it’s been a long time since I been with someone and
I chose not to say if I am a woman or a man. I just want to know, is this true?
Signed, Just Asking
??Everybody is putting so many emphases on pre martial sex.
It’s people out there doing way worse than that, why is it that their sins are swept under the carpet so to speak and this is made out to be such a terrible thing?

simply just jump double dutch such and or play hop scotch. Don't get me wrong, I liked other games too but those were my most favorite. I can remember for years, even until my Grandmother passed away, she would say..."You Are My Preaching Baby", and I would politely look at her and say, " Grandma, all I want to do is jump double Dutch." She would laugh and ignore what I just said and keep it moving. Boy, did I not know what was waiting for me in my future.
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:2-3) I believe that the word mansions in this particular passage of scripture equates to many dimensions in my Father's House, and since the Holy Spirit dwells on the inside of me, my life has been the sum total of experiences within the dimensions of life in Christ in the earth. As a child, one of the major things that I had always desired was to fit in or feel like I belonged. However, it was early in life that I realized that I did not necessarily fit into the stereotypical roles of the children around me. I was known as the "different" child. I wanted to read all of the time, and
Suffice it to say, fitting in was never something that happened for me. The more, I tried to make friends growing up, the more it became obvious that there were only a few that understood that I was truly peculiar, and we ultimately became best friends in my youth. Glenda and Izmet. As time transitioned, it became Stacy and Glenda, Tonia, , then Rosetta, Lalyba, Michelle Rios, Tanya, and as I grew older into High School it became Tonya, Jennifer and Karen, College it became Kata from Germany and Janice, then ultimately it just became Me, and me alone. Please understand that I am still friends with each of these awesome women, but there was a greater call on my life and things that I had to mess up to get here today. As so life went on and there is my Bio to reflect such; but then there is my story for the life that now encompasses the language of my Bio. Allow me to introduce you to the journey that has been called my life. 1 Peter 5:10 (Amplified Bible) And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His
[own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you. Never in a million years did I think or even know that this suffering was going to fashion and mold me into the Woman that I am today. I have been through so many life experiences. Some from not so good decisions made on my own, and others due to the uncanning ability of a subtle tongue to cause me to be in places and situations that the devil meant for my bad; but God turned it around for my good and His Glory. I grew up in the Baptist Church in New York and then ultimately my family moved to North Carolina, and we were no longer Baptist but now AME Zion. That was a big change, but little did I know that the things that began to be imparted into my life would appear to change the trajectory of my life destined to be in Christ. The year was approximately 19__, and I can’t even begin to explain where this came from, other than what is known as the spirit of Lust. I really didn’t know at the time what all of that spirit transfer was all about. All I know is this….He sold clothes in addition to wearing those clothes, and said that he was going to bring some to my home for me to choose what I wanted. I loved his wife and their children. His girls loved me and I never in my mind in a million years thought within myself that
what I was about to enter into was happening. I did not see this person this way. The thought never crossed my mind. To me, it was my father bringing some gifts to me while they were running their errands. I sincerely did not think, nor had I ever thought of this. To me it was yucky, as I would say in my younger days. My spiritual father came by, and I was excited to see what gifts he would be bringing. Truthfully, in this particular denomination they don’t really use the term spiritual father, but rather simple Reverend. Well, I was glad to see the Rev, because he treated me like an older daughter. I knew this because there were only two of us at my age that he really allowed to truly intermingle with his children and spouse. It was a privilege, so I thought. Back to the clothes, He brought the clothes and gifts in. I was like a little child looking through the items and I found several things that I wanted, and without hesitation my “father” gave me what I wanted. I was so happy that I innocently jumped right up to give him a hug, and I had no idea what was on his mind Then it happened. As I jumped up to give him a hug of gratitude, he suddenly lifted me up from the floor, held me tightly, and kissed me in the mouth. The command in his grip was unbreakable, and all at the same time, a feeling that I had never felt before came
over and went through me. For a split moment, I succumbed to that feeling and then I came back to my right mind. I jerked from his grip and asked him to leave. Now you must know that I didn’t give the clothes back, and that was the mistake right from the pit of hell. I didn’t know what I didn’t know. I spent that night trying to process in my mind what actually just happened in my home. Do I tell my mother, do I tell me friend? Will they believe me? What is this thing that I am feeling? Where did that come from? What in the world? I guess it was a mistake and he got caught up in the moment and I reminded him of something. I went to church that Sunday because I was truly expecting an apology, a look in my direction that indicated his remorse. A glance in my direction that saw that I was at least traumatized and didn’t have any answers. I was only something like 21 or 22 years old, and I didn’t know things like this went on in the church. My God….He never looked my way and acted as though nothing had happened earlier in the week. Talk about humiliation, talk about confusion, talk about embarrassment. I felt some type of way in his presence. The thoughts that began to go through my mind as I looked over at his wife. Is this something that goes on in this church? Is this something that she just accepts as a part of her life? Who does he think that he is coming on to me like this? What is going on in her home that she is missing these signs? Suddenly, I could not look at them. I couldn’t understand what
was happening? But for weeks and weeks I continued to come to church and sit in my shame. How come I felt the shame? What was I doing that caused him to believe that it was ok? What was I wearing that indicated that this type of advance toward me was acceptable? What did I say? What joke did I laugh at too hard? What message did I respond to during service too loudly? What? What? What? And Why? I followed his lead and continued my relationship with his wife, his children and my service in the church. Until one night, he called me. I wanted him to be calling to apologize so that my life could go back to normal. I wanted him to apologize and tell me that he had a moment of temporary insanity, but the apology never came. What came out of his mouth was that he wanted permission to stop by to talk to me. In my mind, many thoughts played. In my body, my emotions went wild because I remembered that moment when I was over taken. And foolish and unlearned me, granted him permission to come. How I wanted him to apologize. How I wanted him to be the man of God that I had always esteemed him to be. Unfortunately, he did not come with an apology in mind. It was his intent to take matters further and complete the development of the seed that he had sown into my unborn spirit. How do I now fight? How did I allow myself to be back in the place unprotected by another mature adult again? How? He finished what he started and I had to find a place to
forever run and hide bury my pain. I planned, I acted normal, I acted as though my whole world was not now crushed and I learned to be the great pretender until at last, I could be free and I fled to another city. He tried to follow me there and make excuses for why he was in that town. Paging me and paging me. I couldn’t face myself, let alone this person that had now changed my perspective of who and what church was for. I made a break for my life and I did it….I must bury this part of my life and pretend like it never happened. I must not tell a soul because my soul now has a hole and I don’t know how or who can help patch me up…..so I’m in a new city. Nobody knows me…..I can start life a new and reinvent myself…so I thought. Reinvent who….I no longer know who I am and I surely lost who I was becoming. This and many other situations occurred in my life. Some situations were horrible and caused me to end up in a place that most people know as the "Wilderness." Having a wilderness in a wilderness is a strange and absolutely lonely place. It is lonely in the natural and lonely in the spiritual because you shut it all down. I was now truly out on my own. I was going to different churches in search of “healing for my soul’ and I didn’t know that that is what I was searching for. I still wanted to be around people that would just accept me for who I am. People in church that would tell me that it was ok to just be me. I didn’t find the scripture right off that told me that I was a peculiar people and that peculiar and strange and different in the biblical sense was altogether ok. In my wilderness place I made many mistakes because of the seed
that was already planted in my subconscious mind coupled with the desire to be wanted, understood and accepted. In my wilderness, I experienced the Three (3) Faces of Adam. They were all gifted with the tongue of the serpent and they always “called” with the lust of their flesh talking. Yes, I experienced the wilderness’ full nightmare of not having any true spiritual covering; not having a true place to worship where I wasn’t suspected of coming to be after the pastor; not knowing who I was to God; to deciding that I never wanted to step foot in anything called a church, synagogue, fellowship hall EVER AGAIN; to ultimately calling myself angry with God for allowing all of these things to happen to me before the wilderness and even more significantly while I was in the wilderness. In this wilderness place I ended up with the first man that lied his way through life. He robbed me in more ways than one, but more significantly financially. I, along with, other women ended up paying his bills and he was a true something or other. Only to end up going to his “spiritual father” to tell him what was going on, which turned out that the “spiritual father” liked what he saw and he devised a plan “I am told”, with his “spiritual children” to position me in his company. Don’t get me wrong, this one was really legally separated for real, but he was a plum mess and I found myself wooed into an inappropriate relationship with him. He had a masters command of the English language and that was an extreme delight to my ears aka my flesh. When that became all that I could bare, I left that church not to go back consistently to any church for months and
months on end. But before I left, that last Adam presented himself as the one that would never do what the others had done. He was eligible, he was single, we had lots of fun, and he was a “man of God”, but our relationship had to be a secret because he was not mature enough in God to handle the other two that I had previous encounters with in my wilderness. As a matter of fact they were all “men of God”. Not! They all were hustlers …I just want you to know and I fell for each of them in my wilderness experience and these are my stories:
ADAM 1: You begin to believe the lie and you even participate in the lie. The wilderness in the wilderness is a lonely place. It seemed like the world was making secular music that appealed to my senses that allowed me to allow him to overrule any reason.
ADAM 2: In the wilderness, I was faced with the Next Adam which was very familiar with the whoring and lustful spirit, but this Adam used the cunning craftiness of his tongue to win me over. He used the big ten dollar words that engaged me in intelligent conversation. This Adam challenged me scripturally, mentally, and sexually. This Adam would sleep with me the night before, the morning of and stand right up in the pulpit and preach like we don’t even know each other. This Adam even likened himself to King David. Adam #2 was the “spiritual father” of Adam #1. So I met with him and told him all that had been done to me and I took my responsibility for my name being
“stupefied” at the time. I went in with my outline. I had two (2) copies one for me him and one for me. I was determined that this time, something must be done. Two of the final things that he said to me was that because “the wanderer” was one of his “spiritual son’s” that he could not divulge to me what repercussions were going to be executed upon him, and lastly that he did not want to see me going on without any spiritual covering and that I was welcomed to begin attending his church. He said that I didn’t want to stay out in the wilderness for too long without covering, but what he failed to realize is that I was already in the wilderness fighting for my life without proper boxing gloves and no ropes to contain me in the rink. The devil had a hit out on me, and he was coming fast. He had hit me hard and was coming to try to really finish me off and was going to use him to make it happen. Now that seed that had been planted so long ago, had now taken root; germinated and broke the surface growing wild in the wilderness. He was bold enough to invite me out in public to dinner and I was bold enough to go because surely there was nothing in the way. He was bold enough to tell his favorite “spiritual daughter” to get close to me and I was bold enough to get close to her. He was bold enough to introduce me to his parents and siblings, and I was bold enough to fall in love with them. He was bold enough to do any and everything that he was big and bad enough to do and NOBODY was bold enough to stop him.
It turns out that the boldness that he had came from years and years of practice. It came from planning those trips and having women meet him in other cities. It came from him being able to literally romance and talk a woman right out of her panties, and then have her sit in service like there was never an exchange between them. It came from him being able to keep a different one in different cities all of the time, so that no matter where he went there was one, even if he brought one with him. The boldness came from his ability to have his adjutants and spiritual “sons” cover him while he taught them the game. His boldness came from the fact that he thought that he would boggart his way out of every situation with the use of the correct vernacular with unsuspecting people. All the while, he was shredding the very lives of the women that fell prey to the smooth words that fell from his lips like pieces of fruit. I know this because I played the fool for him too. I wanted to believe that I was exclusive and boy was I in for a ride and major wake up call. We hit the ground running, and I soon realized that the seed that was planted was fully grown and it didn’t matter anymore because now this was the normal from what I could tell and everyone in church just turned their heads. He was “Scared of Lonely” and there was a hole in my soul and I didn’t know how to find me anymore. I just learned how to be a functioning dysfunction in church. Well, Beyonce showed up again, and I let him
“Check Up On It”, and I went home with this new unexplainable presence. I had no words then but the spirit of lust no longer sensed fear in me; it no longer sensed a fight in me; it no longer sensed me in me. Victory at last for this spirit of lust in me, and this now was my formal introduction to hidden in plain sight and I didn’t mind wearing my Freak’um Dress for him and him alone. I learned that the art of the tongue and a strong command of the English language can buy you time and get you things in a good way, and get you things in a way that is absolutely unpleasing to God. This Senior Leader did the same as Amnon to some degree, he got want he wanted, for as long as he wanted, and when I didn’t want to do what he wanted, I was put out there to die and even given a formal letter of release. This final blow or in other words, the door was shut like it was on Tamar but it went this way: The church was in dire straits, and we kept hearing over and over how badly funding was needed. So on this day, this particular senior leader called me at home, after all hell had already broken lose and I was again faced with not having a soul to comfort me in a Godly way. He called and said that they, the church, needed to come up with $13,000, and these are his words: “We are not married to the building.” “We are not in foreclosure, per se.” Something about handling the bank, get a 1 year loan at a higher rate and six month lock in. He said that they may try to sell the property based
upon the loan to value. Then it came. He said that they have $3,000 in the bank, the attorney’s fees were $3,200 and wanted to know if they could borrow the remaining $10,000 from me to deposit in an escrow for thirty days. Something about a Letter of Intent, Commitment Letter, they would borrow the money for 30 days and have the attorney draw a letter to commit to pay me back and in essence I would have my money back in sixty days, and their target date was September 15th, but they needed an answer from me ASAP. I still have the envelope that I wrote on from way back them, dusty and all that records the details of this conversation. After all of the hell that I had been put through, and all of the denying & lying that he had done to my face, it did not matter that he introduced me to new styles of clothing, new levels of dining, new levels of ignoring what used to be a conscious, new levels of being worn out at church by church folk, pretending like we weren’t seeing one another, only at the end of the night I was in his arms. After all of that, you drop me and think that you are going to borrow my money. Never mind the fact that there was no evidence that he had had done what he said he were going to do with the other money that so many others had so freely given. So not only does he commit spiritual incest with his daughters, but he financially raped and fleeced the flock the Lord entrusted to his care. So my answer was a resounding NO, a few days later I received another call from this senior leader telling me that he doesn’t think that his church is the place that there is a fit for me and that he was releasing me effectively immediately
from the church. In other words….Deuces and in the words of Adam #3, I was DROPPED!!!! In the wilderness, I faced the third Adam which used the innocent tactic. He was nothing like the other two, so he said. He lured me in. He pursued me. He called me every day, all day, and we talked all night. He told me things about how a man pursues a woman. He encouraged me to let go of the hurt that I was feeling from the others and he befriended me. This time, I was sure that I had gotten it right. He was handsome, chocolate, single, seemingly available, interested and funny as all get out. This Adam introduced me to the spirit of magnified deceit, the wolf in sheep’s clothing for real tho’. If you are looking for scripture right now, I don’t believe that you will find it here because I was still in the wilderness of my empty soul.
ADAM 3
Get a load of this, Adam #3 was the “spiritual son” of Adam #2, and a good friend of Adam #1. Yeah, I know right. So I asked, Adam #3 what could he possibly want from me. Why was he even bothering me and even acted like he had some interest in me. Every day, he would call and say that he was checking on me. He was seeing or talking to another young lady at the time, and she and I had gone out for dinner quite a few times. She and I joked about being first ladies because he was talking to her when Adam #2 was still hollering at me until I got my walking papers. They had issues that were hilarious but according to him, he was just shooting the breeze with her. Well one Sunday, evening when my son and I were
driving back home from my mothers, we all met on exit 312 on I-40, and this was the day that it all changed. The next day, Adam #3 started this calling all of the time thing. He called first thing in the morning, in the middle of the morning; in the mid-afternoon, late afternoon, early evening; on his drive home; after he got home until I started looking for his phone calls. I was still very hurt from Adam #2, and often I would talk about the situation with Adam #2. I talked about how he hurt me, how he treated me like a fool and like a fool, I let him. I talked about all of the things that we used to do, and all of the things we used to say. I showed Adam #3 text conversations with Adam #2 and each time he declares that he would never have done me that way. With my guard now in high alert from jerks from the church, I wasn’t the least bit interested in hearing from him about forgiveness. So he started making the conversations a little different. He changed my focus and he started telling me how to play poker. He started describing how when you have a full house and when you’ve won a hand, and what the ultimate goal of playing poker was really all about. Then he started calling frequently at night, and we would talk about the poker games on television and how they were applicable to the lessons that he was trying to teach me about men. He started telling me that every black man was after the black queen in the deck and that they knew when they had her. I erroneously took that to mean that I was becoming or he had plans to make me his black queen. I thought that he was signaling me that I was working on the Black Queen status, but what it ended up being was the
dropped again status. In the words of Kevin Hart, “Let Me Explain”. Don’t get this twisted, I am sho’nuff saved and sanctified now, I just keep a spiritual balance in my life now. So, “Let Me Explain: I was now thirty something and could there be a chance that my life was on the up and up, even though Adam #3 was who he was to Adam 1 & 2. He continued to call and we continued to have our long conversations. I decided that I didn’t want to risk the chance of spending my time with him and ultimately getting what was left of a heart broken down the road. He listened and then did not reply to anything that I was saying. He finally said that he would call me back. I really didn’t think that he was going to call back, but it was only a few moments and he called back to say that He didn’t want to stop seeing me, and I told him that I didn’t want to stop seeing him either. I was so glad that he called back. In this year, every day Adam #3 and I, acted like people that were dating, talked all of the time like people that were dating, lived in my home like people that were married, but all of the time we were just “kicking it”. I didn’t know that though. He introduced me to the song that he seemed to love by the Artist Formerly Known As and our song was “Big White Mansion”. He was there when I was given the first assignment to minister up North and I was so excited because He understood where I was coming from. He said things that led me to believe that we were not just kicking it. He did things that led me to believe that we were not just kicking it. He brought his
children over. We played the Wii game all of the time. They acted like they loved me and I truly loved them. We had fun like family. We traveled to go shopping together, I traveled with him to go preach. I met some of his family. I cooked and literally dressed him up in my love. I bought him suits, shirts, ties, shoes, watches. I prepared breakfast most mornings and packed his lunch every day, but the one thing that was wrong with this whole situation was that no one except our mutually close friends and my family could know that we were really seeing each other. It didn’t matter to me at the time because surely he was man enough to figure out how we could work around the Adam #1 & Adam #2 situation. He said that he wouldn’t do me the same way that they did me. He helped me to begin to find my way to God again. He encouraged me to begin to go back to church. He would study the word with me. He helped me to find me again and what I remember about truly and sincerely loving the Lord. He helped me to find strength to just be me. He helped me to see that in everything I truly had clean hands. He witnessed Adam #1 & Adam 2, and he realized from his own admission that I was not everyone had portrayed me to be in their eyes and that I had in fact told the truth about my encounters. Not only did I tell the truth, but I have and had evidence to show for it. He would sit up with me late at night to talk about the hole in my soul and how messed up I felt I was about everything that had happened.
listen and let me cry. He would listen and make me laugh. He would listen and then gently put a new patch to cover the new wound that I had revealed. He did this consistently and patiently, until one day when he was sick and had to go preach; I medicated him up real good. I was great at taking care of him. As he was preparing to leave on this particular day, it was a cold and dreary day in January; he was putting on his shoes at the front door. He could sense that my heart was heavy by now because I really wanted to now finally go back to church but with him. He kissed me on the forehead and said you stay here and have some time with God. I remember going to the floor by the window crying out to the Lord that I was so sorry, and thank you for sending this wonderful man into my life to show me the road out of the wilderness. From that time forward, he and I had the best of times together. We celebrated my 40th birthday together. He took me out that day, but yes you guessed it. Right out of town. We went to another city to go to have breakfast, go to the movies, came back, he went to church; I went to my sisters. He came back and left for Sunday morning service from my home. What a great day! I was like “turn up”, turn up man!
My son saw that I was happy, but he has a wisdom that was not always afforded to young men his age at that time. My son literally came over to my house one day, and sat me down to say these words. He said, Mom, just Dr. James And Her Son make sure that Adam #3 is He would feeling what you are feeling and that his
motives and intentions are the same as what you “think” they are. My Son said, “Mom, I want you to understand something. Men will eat your food; hang out with you; sleep in your bed; watch T.V. with you; call you all of the time; talk that talk with you and still only be “Kicking It” with you. Make sure that you are not wasting your time.” I proceeded to remind him of all of the time that Adam #3 and I were spending together , and how his kids loved me, and how I couldn’t see that he was “kicking it” with anyone else because he was always here with me. His phone didn’t vibrate and he never turned it off. Case closed. Fast Forward and we are going to begin wrapping these Adam’s up. I’m going back to church now. I have identified someone that I believed would be a good “spiritual father”. I had never heard anything about this one, and he was truly old enough to be my “father”. I am finding my way and my new “spiritual father” and his wife are embracing me. I am going to church every Sunday now. My “spiritual father” asks me to begin to do the “spiritual vitamin” on Sundays. I’m excited, for I know that surely he knows the things that have gone on in my past, but he doesn’t make a big to do out of it, and helps me begin to release my voice. All the while, Adam #3 and I are still dating and we are excited after each service to talk about the service that the other attended. We have dinner, and go about the week no problem. We are flying high now, so I thought and I begin to tell just a few other persons about
us. They invite him to preach, he goes and I go. We act like a couple. Wow, he is really beginning to embrace “us”, and I am feeling better about myself. Time goes on, suddenly, the time together starts dwindling. I am trying to figure out what is going on. Now he doesn’t call as much. He doesn’t come over every day. Now he is traveling up north more frequently. Never suspecting a thing, I wait for his return. He has a key and knows the code to my house, so he can come right on in. What’s happening, I can’t get Adam #3 on the phone like before when he traveled. It was always some sporadic time now. Maybe he is trying to adjust and test things out. Maybe we are at the final stages of the Poker game. No, he got a phone call from Adam #1 and didn’t know how to handle the things that Adam #1 said to him. Finally, he calls me and tells me what happened. He backed away for some time, until we were finally able to come together to talk about what he was feeling and to get some clarity on exactly what happened. I went to my “spiritual leader” asked for the story and conveyed it back to Adam #3, and for a while we were normal again. It's now almost time for a one year anniversary for our trip to visit our mutual friends. I had the suit that he said that he wanted shipped to us, and he seemed happy. I remember the last time we seemed to really be digging one another was the day in the garage; he was leaving to run an errand and said that he would call. Yes, he called but it was the last time that he would ever be consistent again,
and the beginning of things really becoming peculiar. He traveled up north more and more, but was sure to maintain telephone communication when he was not able to come over for dinner. Time passed and we continued on this way, and a few months passed and now it was February. I had gone to a Zumba class and was about worn out, but he called. I was glad to learn that he was safely back from New York and wanted to come over. I couldn’t wait to see what he had purchased because I thought that I was going to be getting some great gifts especially after all that I had purchased for him over the last 1(+/-) yr. He showed me rings, purses, perfume, jewelry and so forth. I saw quite a few things that I liked and sat aside. When I looked as though I was done shopping, he politely packed everything back up, and promptly told me my total. Talk about the shock, but I counted it all up as a man getting his “weight” up financially. I wrote him a check and then he was gone. Two hours later, I was in the emergency room and then in the hospital for 11 days. During my stay in the hospital, which was over the course of two weekends, I was visited and called by everyone while they tried to figure out what was wrong with me. I spoke to Adam #3 on occasion and was really more concerned about the doctors finding out what was wrong with me. Adam #3 finally shows up at the hospital with his infamous side kick, who he had at least told that we were close and had come with him
on several occasions for Sunday dinner. This day was a Thursday or Friday, and they were on their way up North. They greeted me, prayed with me, and almost acted normal. I was so glad to see him and he knew that I was by the way that I touched him and the way we held hands. Little did I know that something else was on the horizon. They left and hit the road. He called me from the road and that would be the last time that I would hear from him for a few days. Eleven days I was in the hospital and on the day that I am released from the hospital, I am at home resting on the sofa on the wonderful medication that was prescribed and around 8 or 9 p.m. the telephone rings. It is Adam #3, I’m glad to hear his voice. I thought that he was going to tell me that he was on his way over. I thought he was calling to tell me that he was sorry for not coming back to the hospital to see me. Never in a million years did I expect him to say what he said, until I realized that there was seriousness in his voice that I had not heard before. I quickly thought it was my medication, but I sensed something greater in my spirit and he said these words: “I wanted to call you to tell you my good news before you heard it from somebody else.” I didn’t allow him to go any further, I said to him jokingly what you got married? He said “Yes”. I couldn’t handle that, the medication and the pain. I hung up the phone and proceeded to lay my head back down. Days
went by and it finally happened, my mind caught up with me and I had a breakdown right in my home, truly naked and unashamed in the presence of the Lord. The Lord allowed me to find a song entitled “That’s When You Bless Me”, by the Mississippi Mass Choir, and that entire day I was weak, mentally, emotionally drained; I had no more strength, no more anything to give to anyone, and I became so numb and absolutely numb…….….I died. As I look back over my life, and I think things over, I can truly say that I have a testimony. What is important to know here is that the most important lesson that I have learned from all of my wounded experiences is that they all taught me What Not To Do To God’s People. I have learned that we are all human and subject to error and that I certainly do not have a heaven or a hell to put anyone, but there is a God who does. As I searched the scriptures for the biblical accounts that I used to teach and share lessons from, I was assured by the Lord that His Word is true and it will accomplish that which He sent it to do. For you are a royal priesthood and a peculiar people. People will look at you weird and make you feel uncomfortable but don’t ever allow anyone to make you come out from the royal covering of our Sovereign God. As so it was on May 31, 2013, that I was released completely from this place of being wounded. I arrived home safely, and that Friday, which was May 31, 2013 at approximately 12 Noon, I was at home downstairs and I heard these words from the Lord, “I have more in you to be released to the nations, but you cannot go until you go to the
source of the wounds. In order to get to the next glory in Him I had to face, with respect, the place of being wounded.” With that he brought the “spiritual father” to mind and I was led to go back upstairs to my desk to call. The conversation in summary went something like this. Greetings, glad that you answered. Did you get my message? Great, yeah I just wanted to thank you again for that lesson you taught back then. It was really helpful to me during this particular ministry trip. Thank you again. So they proceeded to respond with something like this: Yes, I got your message. You are welcome. I’m glad that you had a good trip. Let me know when you are traveling like that again. Why don’t you plan to come with us on our next trip? More pleasantries and the Holy Spirit reminded me what the purpose of the call was for. I said to him, I am going to shift the conversation because I am being led to do so. My question to you is, what was it about me that didn’t allow you to be a true spiritual father to me? Didn’t you know that I was different? Didn’t you know that I didn’t think like everyone else? Their response was this is one time I wish to God that such and such were alive. She would have told you that I loved you and that I knew that you were different. My response: You didn’t protect me like a father. You talked horribly about me to my spiritual siblings and they in turn treated me based upon what you said about me. Why did you do that? He responded initially that he didn’t talk about me, but I brought some of it back to his memory and he then said ok, yes I did talk about you, but I love you. I am your father. You went away. I want my old Ethel back. To which I responded, the old Ethel is no longer here. The person to which you are speaking with is now a matured woman of God in the Body of Christ.
He said that he even asked the Lord, what was it that he had done to cause me to leave. Was it because of some sin that he committed? These are his words and not mine. To which I replied, You have no respect for who I am, and what the Lord has called for me to do. I love you, I respect your office, and no one now or ever can receive the credit for being the first place to teach me how to rightly divide the word of God, and I have done what I was required to do by making this call to you and I pray that he was able to hear me from the place from which I was speaking. Perhaps one day we could have lunch and be able to function from the place of love and mutual respect for one another. He said that he had to go into a meeting and that was the last time that I have spoken to him. When I walked away from the telephone I finally released all of the hurt, pain, disappointment from everywhere, everyone one, including myself and began to drive in my car. I took complete ownership for my part in this entire experience called my life, and in my car the Lord showed me that vengeance is His, and there are so many wounded saints in the Body of Christ that are waiting for a place to be truly healed. This is that place. Which resulted in the written and published book entitled "When Spiritual Parents Wound."
As I wrote this book the Lord allowed me to walk backwards through the days of my life. Some sections were pretty easy to write, while others caused me to break completely down. It was in those times, that I realized that this was truly the work of the Lord because I would not have been able to bring you to this place of complete healing had I not, with the help of the Lord, sealed those doors in the realm of the spirit. Bishop T.D. Jakes & Dr. James It was during the writing of these pages that the Lord made known to me that I could now walk completely in prophetic & pastoral office(s) for which He has called me to, and sent me forth from. It was during the writing of these pages that I realized that everything that I can see when I enter the doors of a church, whether I am a visitor or the special ministering gift. I can tell who is currently being wounded, which one was wounded in the past and stuck, and who wants to be next, and even the next one that the spirit of lust is working on. I can see the spirit of the wounded spouse and I am not afraid to tear the devils
kingdom down. I am not afraid of the terror by night; nor the arrow that flieth by day.
written to bring to light what is so often quickly
It is these healed wounds that qualify me to say, now you know my story, now you know the things that I’ve come through; you don’t have to imagine the pain, the trials, I’ve come through. Now you know the day He set me free. Now you know the strongholds and the walls that severed me.
It was written to “free” some soul from the place of spiritual abuse and to help you identify a place that truly knows from firsthand experience what it feels like “When Spiritual Parents Wound.” This is not intended to be an all-inclusive writing, simply because it can never be. Everyone has had their own personal encounters with any one of the demonic spirits that lingers freely in the community, in the generational curses, and what’s worse in the church. But it is intended to be the starting point for you to join us as we Wage War on this Road to Recovery, while listening to the Authentic Generals operate with an Apostolic Anointing that authorizes them to release us into our destiny for the purpose of fulfilling the call in and over our lives.
Now you know, in all of that God has been faithful to me. Now you know, He promised He would never leave me. Now you know, my story proves that God can use me because deliverance is my testimony. Now you know my story because Life & Favor are my guardian angels that follow me as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death and they are instrumental components used by God purposed to keep me walking into my Destiny. My prayer for you is that the pages of my journey reached the depth of your wounds with such a divine healing and clarity that your heart is restored to newness beyond what you can ever think or imagine! This book was not written to bring harm to anyone but the unemployed cherub and his imps. It was written to let my “destiny stalker” know that I know that I was created to rule with the King of Kings. It was written as a starting point for those that have been wounded to let them know that they are not alone. It was written so, when you are ready, there is a place for you to find “Healing For Your Soul.” It was
and quietly kept in the dark.
My wounds qualify my worship, and I sing with clean hands and a pure heart, “Free At Last! Free At Last! Thank God Almighty, I’m Free At Last.”
I Peter 5:10 But the God of all Grace, Who has called us unto His Eternal Glory by Christ Jesus, after
that you have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you
Romans 8:15-17 : Romans 8:28-31 The Finding Hope Mentorship program was developed as a safe haven for those that have been wounded mentally, physically, emotionally, financially or spiritually by those we call our spiritual parents and of the secular world. We say the secular world because there are those who were one a part of the church and have now resorted to the embraces of a world that is straightforward. In the world, you know where you stand with people, in the church it is a mystery yet to be solved. Either way, there is a wounded soul existing and operating from a dysfunctional place. There is a wounded soul that needs to be restored, renewed, revived and returned. The Finding Hope Mentorship Program was designed with you in mind to let you know that it is very important not to get stuck in the season of your wounds. It is also very difficult to move forward from the wounds to your healing. I am here to encourage you and take you through the process that will bring “Healing For Your Soul and Hope For Your Heart.” Finding Hope Mentorship will aid, counsel, and love you through your wounds to healing and your destiny. If I had to do it all over again, I would change a lot of things, but because we don’t necessarily get to do a “do over” in a sense, I believe that my second chance to walk into my destiny is to write and talk
about these occurrences in my life to help others along their journey. Either way you look at it in the Wilderness you bring pain, you find pain, you inflict pain, until you become the pain. Because when you finally become the pain you slowly begin to realize that you have arrived at “that” place, and then you run spirit, soul, and body into the Last Adam where the wilderness now becomes, instead of the end of your life, it becomes the starting point of your complete healing and recovery. It becomes the place that brings “Healing For Your Soul.” I would have never guessed in a billion life times, that the journey for which I had taken guided, misguided, with all of the twists and turns, ups and down, hills and valleys, peaks and lows were truly all for my making. I would have never said to the Lord, yes this is the way that I would go. I would have honestly opted for a different, less painful, life and church experience. I would have chosen not to have been wounded in the house of my friends; I would have chosen not to have been wounded in the church; and I certainly would have chosen not to have been wounded by my spiritual family. I would have chosen not to have been in the place called “the wilderness”, and would have traded that experience in a minute had I known what I know now. But here I sit, writing these words to you, to tell you to take heart because whatever you have experienced whether by your hands or at the hands of your spiritual parent, if you are ready the Lord will provide “Healing For Your Soul,” and bring
you out with an understanding that it was all for your making and a part of the Destiny that He will now reveal to you. Here are the words that caused me to keep walking as I turned around to look where I had been, and how far I had come, but then turn back around face forward and run with assurance into my destiny.
Kiss Me To My Destiny Prelude To Your Kiss Scripture References: Matthew 26:14-16; Mark 14:10-11; Luke 22:3-6, 21; John 13:21, 26-27 The Kiss To Your Destiny Scripture References: Matthew: 26:48-50; Mark 14:44-46; Luke 22:47-48; John 18:2-8 Let us examine what Destiny is and who it has come for. In the Hebrew the word Destiny means to equip with weapon, to strengthen, to prevail. What are we given this equipping weapon of prevailing strength to do? The Webster’s Dictionary says that Destiny is the predetermined, usually inevitable or irresistible course of events. I believe that we were called from a place called eternity to this place called time to manifest the Kingdom of God in the earth through a people. Allow me to elaborate. From one of the most prolific men of God these words came: “God is amazing! God is astounding! God is incredible! He is power AND purpose. He is the fusion of energy AND intellect. He is a strategist, and He has a plan for everything including you. God is a thinking God, an intelligent God, and He has a plan. Sometimes we don’t have a plan and sometimes we do, and when we do have a plan, oftentimes your plan goes awry.” But I am here to
encourage you to let you know that when your life seems chaotic and crazy that God has a strategy and a destiny for your life. And because we are created in His image, we are then the crescendo of His creation which means that You and I are called out of eternity into time according to His purpose and plan, and thereby must fulfill our DESTINY….
For every situation that you have ever faced in your life, you were being prepared for the destined place in Christ Jesus. In the words of Apostle Melvin Thompson, III—anytime you are under attack in ways that you can’t even begin to recognize or comprehend, just rest assured knowing that it is a sign and a seal that you are going into your Destiny. The only question that remains is, “Can You Handle a Judas without exposing them before Your time?” Don’t change your position because it is a spiritual thing expediting the will of God. Judas is called of God to help you get to your destiny. If you want to know if you are on the path to fulfilling your assignment in the earth, consider these words from Dr. Yvonne Capehart. The enemy does not mind you doing all of the things that you say that you are doing for the Lord. Attending all of the services at church; volunteering on this committee and that committee; tithing; praying, fasting all of those things are awesome. But the moment you tap into that “One” thing that makes you irreplaceable, that “One” thing for which you were called, created and made to do…..All types of hell will break forth in your life. When that happens…...Destiny is Knocking at your
door. Somebody better shout GLORY after reading that because I know it had to resonate in somebody’s spirit. Somebody just had a spiritual visual of what all of the hell, the back biting, the church hurt, and disappointment was for. I felt a leap in my belly right there. Lord Help Me Right Here!!! In the words of my Apostolic Sister Pastor Sherry Major, God allows you to be kissed. It is the kiss that identifies you. It is the kiss that positions you to handle the destined place. Some of you may have been kissed with the Kiss of Lies; the Kiss of a Scandal; the Kiss of Abuse; the Kiss that defamed your character; or in the case of Joseph (Genesis 37) the Kiss of Slavery. No matter what Kiss it is….You must be ready and willing to receive the kiss assigned only for you to advance you to your rightful place in Destiny. Another friend and Woman of God, Pastor Shree Daniels asked the question, “Are You Ready For The Trip?” Listen to the voice of where you are going and do not buy into the lie of your environment. Keep your ear to the heart of God and begin to speak life into the atmosphere. Know this, says Pastor Shree Daniels, “Any time God exposes you to heavy duty environments then, He has given you heavy duty assignments.” It is imperative in this hour that the Believer knows that “Destiny has a voice.” People of God hear me with this…..Destiny has summoned you to this very place this very hour. Lift your hands and begin to tell the Lord thank you for the clarity that shall be released. It is
imperative that as we move into our destiny that we don’t forget our younger generation. I call them our “Destiny Walkers”. We declare that they shall live a purpose filled life that resonates that they know who and whose they are. And since we know that kisses don’t lie, we have been released under an Apostolic declaration from Apostle Michelle Kelly on this wise. The kiss is what qualifies you for your destiny. Don’t back away from the kiss even if you are not sure if it is the kiss of betrayal or the kiss of blessings, stay in position for the kiss. As you receive your kiss know with all assurance, that each kiss carries with it the “announcement to your destiny.” Now I leave you with this, destiny is the place that God resides. How you allow Him to get there depends on the journey you choose. We were a thought in the mind of God. He created us, died for us, went away, sent the Comforter, and now lives in us by way of the Holy Spirit. We, the people of God, are ‘that” predetermined place called Destiny. When we live as God has created us as three-part beings, we become the last balance of what we are created to be. We concern ourselves with matters that include the soul; spiritual identity; life purpose; relationship to our God; spiritual growth and ULTIMATE DESTINY in Him. God in the earth in a people called Destiny. Destiny is calling for the Kingdom of God and in this hour Destiny is not leaving any messages…….Selah. I have learned and am secure in the truth that Destiny costs and I am not exempt from paying the cost , after all Destiny cost
Jesus His Life, to which He freely laid down. Are you ready and willing to pay your price? I believe that you are ready because you are here, reading my story and I have Kingdom Authorization to notify you that……….have just been kissed. Get ready to make your date with of Destiny Fulfilled. Your life and perspective will never be the same because you can see clearly now that your life is truly hidden in Him…..He in you and you in Him……….Destiny Fulfilled! There are many to thank for the years of encouragement in the good times and the bad times. But I must thank my Lord and Savior for allowing me to know that "I Am Free". I am now free to be me, distinctly and exclusively, the way that He designed, purposed, and planned for me to be authentically me. I thank my loving mother, my rock Sis. Armeta Johnson, who is my older Sister, my son & daughter in law (Moise & Patrice Tabon, Jr.). I now have two beautifully anointed Granddaughters (Maliah & Kymia Tabon) whom I love with only the love that can come from a Grandmother.
And through all of the hurt and pain; through all of the shame that came along with this place of silent suffering, came power and strength to move forward in my life for His Glory. As greater clarity became my portion, and the Lord allowed me to write my most recent book entitled "My Next Is Now." It required me understanding that my feet are ordained to take me to the front no matter what the situation looks like. I have met many notable people along this journey thus far. Individuals such as Bishop T.D. Jakes, Bishop Noel Jones, Steve Harvey, Micah Stampley, Damita Haddon, Wess Morgan, LeAndria Johnson, Martha Munnuzzi, NeNe Leakes, Alicia Keys, Dick Gregory, Marcus D. Wiley aka Bishop Secular, Senator Kay Hagan, Congressman Butterfield, Anita Wilson, Kierra Sheard, Apostle Melvin Thompson, III, Dr. Yvonne Capehart, Bishop Darlene Bishop, Norman Hutchins, (see pictures on final pages) but more importantly my Lord & Savior Jesus the Christ. In Him, My Next Is Now takes on a life and shape of its own, knowing that greatness, life and favor are upon my life, and I must live, operation, function and flow in Christ.....Now. The book, workbook, cd's and dvd's My Next Is Now were written and created to provide an exciting new perspective on how God intended for His people to live in an eternity called Now. Even more, one is able to discover how, as a born again believer, we have a mandate to represent God in the earth, in His Image and After His Likeness......NOW!
The Palace Anointing spoken into and over my life has now found its resting place in my life. For this cause, was I born to set the captives free and to deliver a people from a place of obscurity and bondage. I now walk in the offices for which I have been called, chosen, and sent because Destiny has called my name, and I fearlessly, powerfully, lovingly and unashamedly have answered. This message is and has been the cornerstone of Prophetess' life since a small child, and was taught by her loving mother Missionary Ernestine James, from the biblical principle based upon 1 Peter 3:34(NIV) “Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.” Prophetess Dr. James loves to study the Word of God to hear what the Lord would say to her in this hour; and it is her desire for God to use her mightily in this season to edify the Body of Christ. She seeks to perpetually live in and experience the “Undisturbed Favor” and awesome manifested glory of God in her life through the words of her favorite passage of scripture. 1 Peter 5:10 (Amplified Bible) And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you.
