arcs is known for Intelligent, Confident, Humorous and Witty which is the reflection of Australian Urban life.

Taking 7 as a number from 7 days of a week as intial starting point for the design the shopfront light variations are of 7 different types and there are 7 colours used inside the shop as a wall graphic. Fragamenting men and women section in individual part by giving them respective language which is followed from ceiling to fixtures to flooring & which is brought together by cash counter and wall fixture. PUC system has been used in the wall fixtures to make internal elevations of a singular language and provides with innumerable variations of the wall art. Wall fixture 1:1 prototype 12

Shopfront An idea to make the shop front grab attention, keeping in mind it’s lengthy run. To give the store a mysterious touch, the start of the shop front from the mall entry is a porous facade giving glimpses of the mannequins. It has light adjustments, different for all days of the week and hence is visually ever-changing.

Walking forward, the other end if the shop front Is designed as an anamorphic display where in as user walk user can see mannequins from the front, though from the other side anamorphic signage appear as MARCS. Full Retail Construction Studio portfolio link.

he clients are the owners of the cafe called Buttercupp. They needed a strong prominent partition between their work space and home and kitchen is a core part of their home and all activities of the family members revolve around it.

Kitchen is the main part in the residence and making a conventional kitchen wont have fulfilled the needs of the clients.

On second level there is Living room, dining area and kitchen together and Redefined Kitchen Unit in the middle of all three combining and segregating the spaces whenever required.
After studying the different types of kitchens and their characteristics. Design process started by combining Island kitchen and Rotating space saving kitchen into one, from which Redefined Kitchen Unit was born. Redefined kitchen unit working drawing on right.

roject is about designing a CEPT Outreach office with a plug-in function of Gymnasium which was going to be used at night after the office timings are over by the students and other staff members. Taking Transformation as a concept from the challenge. Entire office transforms into a gymnasium into night and comes back to original office layout during day time. Space transforms and move with help of rollers and tracks embedded in the plinth. Hydraulics and simple pivot mechanism for other spaces. Space transforms to give new experience to the staff working in the office and the people using this space as gymnasium at night. Openable and Closable spaces and gymnasium equipments help to save space and improves circulation in the office.

roject is about designing a youth center for the students and youths which was going to be run by youths itself and challenge was to retain all trees and not to cut any.
Activities like Textile and Ceramic workshop, Theater, Library and Cafe, Administration rooms were the spaces functioning inside the center. Trees were used as a space making element and as roof at various place for outdoor activity. Solar power panels were installed on the sourthern facade for green, clean energy for the center. Future expansion was to be kept in mind thus making space expandable for future need.

anoria Center for arts was the site and the client was an artist Hindol Brahmbhatt.
After studying the site and its surrounding. A cafe was located on the sourthern side of his studio. A beautiful landscape near the cafe which provided a good view in his break time. Low seating Chair made from plywood to make it light and can be placed in which ever way client wanted in his studio balcony. Two chairs for anyone visits him during his breaks, side ledge to put his cup of tea.

nside-Out brick wall is a partition wall where first course of brick is aligned straight then on top of it 1/2 inch thick mortar is applied. The offset is applied with mid-point of the stretcher of the first course with the mid-point of the header of second course. Similarly alternate courses of straight and offsets are placed on top of each other. Mortar played an important role in constructing the wall, variable mortar thickness and different proportions of sand and cement in mortar. Bamboo dome with cowdung cladding
H
ollow bamboo were placed in 6 different foundation holes to make a starting base for the dome. Then bamboo splits were tied with help of jute ropes to make a dome which has a clearance of 2000 mm. On bamboo and bamboo splits shell structure jute bags were tied and on it cow-dung with water mixture was applied to cover the cavities. (Batch project) Project was to design a roof for a sports stadium which was rectangular in nature.Space-frame provides a light weight structure and can provide larger clear span. (group of 5)

eployable structure and normal seating was combined together. The outcome was similar to normal deck chair but it consisted of moving canopy and leg rest as per human ergonomics. Canvas fabric used for the seating and canopy. Prototype is made with 12 and 18 mm plywood and 10 mm threaded rods for horizontal connection of the two side frames in 8 days time period.
