Fireman Sam: Alien Alert! (U)
Captain Underpants (U) A deliciously silly animated adventure based on the bestselling book series.
Everyone’s favourite fireman stars in a big-screen adventure! With UFO sightings on the increase, Fireman Sam sets off to find out what’s behind all this sudden alien activity. And when one of Buck Douglas’ stunts causes a forest fire, Sam becomes even more determined to get to the bottom of the mysterious events.
This raucously subversive comedy tells the story of two overly imaginative pranksters named George and Harold, who hypnotise their principal into thinking he's an enthusiastic but incredibly dimwitted superhero named Captain Underpants. That proves to be a good thing when it’s revealed that the new science teacher, Professor Poopypants, has an evil plan to stop children from laughing...

Shetland Arts Development Agency manages Bonhoga Gallery, The Garrison Theatre & Mareel. We also develop and promote a year round programme of film, music, theatre, literature, visual arts, & dance events. We do this because we want to see Shetland celebrated as a place where inspiration & innovation are valued; where people want to live, work & study; and we want the full social & economic potential of the islands to be achieved.
Shetland Arts is supported by Creative Scotland and core funded by the Shetland Charitable Trust. Shetland Arts is a registered charity (SCO37082).
