With the month of October behind us, we will have to say goodbye to halloween. However with November coming up, it means that December is just around the corner. With november, unless you are an American, the only upcoming important day would be Remembrance Day. In honor of all the soldiers and staff from previous world conflicts, Dr Charles Best’s Key Club has decided to not hold any fund raisers in the month of November. With that being said, every month still requires a fund raiser, which is why there will be two fundraisers in the holiday season of December.

More information will be located in the “Upcoming Events” section of the newsletter. In regards with the fundraiser from the October, we are proud to announce it was a great success (especially considering that it was our first fundraiser). We were able to raise over $110 in profits (Half of which will be directly donated to Project ELIMINATE). The Executives of Key Club would like to thank everyone that helped make the October Fundraiser possible, from the number of people who spent their lunch times watching over that Key Club Table, to the countless others who spent their valuable time after school planning for and creating advertising for this event. Its safe to say that this fundraiser would not have been anywhere as successful if it wasn’t for all the Key Clubbers who donated so much of their time and effort.

Hopefully next month’s Fundraiser is just as successful, if not, more.

Upcoming Events

As previously mentioned, due the nature of the month of November, we will not be having a fundraiser this month. Also as previously mentioned, we will be having two fundraisers in the month of December (One during the first week, and one during the last week). The second fundraiser, as it is still a times away, will definitely be christmas themed. As the second fundraiser has not been started yet as the first fundraiser is currently still being developed.

The fundraiser that won last meetings majority vote was Bubble Tea. With that being said, the planning for the Bubble Tea fundraiser has already been started. With next monday and tuesday (November 10th and 11th) being holidays, there will be no Key Club meeting, but we still hope to get this fundraiser up and going as soon as possible.
