Jervis Bay is a truly extraordinary place in the heart of Shoalhaven. With over 100 kilometres of rolling white sands coastline to explore, it is home to an array of protected coves, stunning sea cliffs, and serene Australian bushland.

The striking aqua blue water in Jervis Bay sits on a bed of brilliant white sand within a protected marine park home to diverse wildlife making it a premier location for activity above and below the water.

Diving and snorkelling will transport you to a magical underwater world, where you can witness the likes of seals, penguins, turtles, sharks, and more than 210 species of fi sh enjoying their natural habitat. Enjoy the bay from above with a paddling experience, with many stand-up-paddle and kayak tours as well as equipment hire available from Huskisson. Glide atop the clear blue water in the bay or up Currambene or Moona Moona creeks, pull into a white sand beach and have a dip or a picnic. The water is inviting, averaging in the high teens even in winter. Jervis Bay is home to around 100 resident bottlenose dolphins that live there yearround. It is also part of the humpback highway making it an ideal spot to encounter the annual whale migration between May and November. Dolphin Watch Cruises and Jervis Bay Wild offer scenic tours and wildlife watching cruises year-round and depart daily from Huskisson.

Explore the villages of the bay and 16 white sand beaches at your own pace, remembering in summer to avoid the crowds by planning ahead, especially if you are hoping to visit Hyams Beach by car.
