The main block of the hospital has a two corridor system that allows easy navigation through the building for both the staff and visitors. Two separate entry for emergency and main entry.
There are 4 cores in the building out of which only 3 are accessible to the visitors and one is restricted to staff. The two cores in the central tower directly lead to the IPD department.
VERTICAL CIRCULATION
The floorwise distribution is done as such the private spaces are kept on above floors while the public and semipublic spaces are kept on lower floors. The central courtyard allows stack ventilation as well as keeps the indoor spaces lit throughout the day. The atrium at the entrance allows a grand view inside the hospital. one can easily see the waiting areas, reception area and the lifts from there. The basement can accommodate 120 cars and has a linen washing department, mortuary and the CSSD department.

Research
AAMAD
In the current case scenario, shifting the Ijtema from one place to another as the population increases is only solving short term problems. a permanent solution is required to make the city more resilient and accommodating in the long run. This necessitates developing a framework in and around the original venue for the event - Taj-Ul. The framework can also provide for a crisis management solution to cater to future needs.
‘There were absolutely no problems faced with the Ijtema proceedings. There was a bit of overcrowding but it did not interrupt our daily schedule. The participating groups peacefully read their namaz and did not disturb anyone else. I will be glad to lend my terrace to the ijtema groups and provide extra facilities to them as well if needed.” Savitri Devi “There is a shortage of space in Old Bhopal to accommodate the groups coming in. Using the terraces to create spaces for the groups is a unique idea and would create balance in an otherwise congested area. I will happily lend my terrace for the accommodation of the groups” Shah Jahan Begum
“To avoid the disruptions faced by other communities, the state’s CM changed the five day proceeding to a three day event. It is a good deed to help others and would lend my terrace for allowing the community groups to stay.” Sayed Sadik Ali
“Old Bhopal is already very crowded and an additional influx of 1 million people during the Ijtema will make it impossible for us to even move around the city. Many people will not be comfortable with the idea of unknown people using their terrace and will feel that their privacy is being invaded.” Javed Ali “There was a lot of congestion on the roads and caused many traffic jams. As far as accommodation is concerned for the participating groups, we will allow our terraces to be used for a 3 day period since it is a religious congregation and we do not want them to face inconvenience during their proceedings.” Sabita Rani and Suman

Designed clusters and access nodes
The transient nature of a structure highlights its strength. Flexible architectural design can be deployed temporarily to provide shelter and fulfill a range of functional tasks. These structures are often used to set up military camps, cultural festivals and even refugee camps. Once their purpose at a particular location is fulfilled, these structures can be deployed again at a different location. Based on their design they can serve the same or a different purpose.

Reflective Without creating permanent spaces, an adaptable solution is achieved. Temporary design of the module can be easily dismantled and modified to accommodate additional influx during Ijtema.
Flexible & Resourceful Adaptable modules made using known materials and construction techniques allow speedy deployment incase of any future stress affecting the city. These can also be used as public infrastructure in different spaces.
Redundant Incremental design acts as a buffer, allowing scope for absorbing added stress. Modularity ensures the ease with with the design can be replicated cost effectively.
Inclusive & Intergrated The design promotes local involvement and creates a sense of community.
