Quick & Easy Chili Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 20 mintues Amount: 8-10 servings
Ingredients: • 2 pounds ground beef • 1 medium Onion, chopped (about 1 cup) • 1 green bell pepper, chopped • 2 (14 ounce) can Essential Everyday Diced Tomatoes, undrained • 1 (46 ounce) can Shopper’s Value Tomato Juice • 2 ( 1 ounce) packages Essential Everyday Chili Seasoning Mix • 2 (15.5 ounce) can Essential Everyday Kidney Beans, drained and rinsed • 1 (4 ounce) can Carlita Diced Jalapenos, drained, optional • Essential Everyday Shredded Cheddar Cheese • Essential Everyday Sour Cream Directions: In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown ground beef, onions and peppers until no longer pink; drain. Stir in tomatoes, tomato juice and chili mix. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to simmer. Add kidney beans, and jalapenos (optional). Simmer 10 minutes or until desired doneness. Serve with cheese and sour cream.

Ingredients: 1 pound lean ground beef 1 cup chopped onion 1 (15 ounce) can Essential Everyday® Red Kidney Beans, drained and rinsed 1 (14.5 ounce) can Essential Everyday Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies, undrained 1 (8 ounce) can Essential Everyday Tomato Sauce 1 (1.25 ounce) packet Essential Everyday Original Chili Seasoning Mix 1¼ cups Essential Everyday Self-Rising White Cornmeal ¼ cup Essential Everyday All-Purpose Flour ¾ cup milk ¼ cup Essential Everyday Vegetable Oil 1 large egg, beaten 1½ cups Essential Everyday Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Directions: 1. In large saucepan or Dutch oven, cook and crumble beef and onions until no longer pink; drain. 2. Stir in beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce and chili mix. Bring to a boil; transfer to a greased 2½-quart baking dish; set aside. 3. In medium bowl, combine cornmeal and flour. Add in milk, oil and eggs; stir to combine. Stir in 1 cup cheese; spread over chili. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. 4. Bake in a preheated 400°F oven 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Ingredients: ½ (16 ounce) package Essential Everyday® Red Kidney Beans, soaked, rinsed and drained 2 pounds beef stew meat 1 cup chopped onion 1 green bell pepper, chopped 1 (15 ounce) can Essential Everyday Tomato Sauce 2 (14.5 ounce) cans Essential Everyday Diced Tomatoes with Green Chiles, undrained 1 (4 ounce) can diced jalapeño peppers, undrained 2 (1 ounce) packets Essential Everyday Chili Seasoning Mix
Directions: 1. Cook beans according to package directions. 2. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in large saucepan or Dutch oven. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 1½ hours, stirring occasionally. 3. Stir in cooked beans; continue simmering 30 minutes or until beef is tender. Serve with sour cream and shredded Cheddar cheese.
