Rotary Club recognized

Dolan Byrnes of Adamstown as the Cocalico High School November Student of the Month. Dolan is the son of O’Brien and Sandra Byrnes. He is a senior at Cocalico High School where he challenges himself in academics and athletics.

Dolan is a member of the varsity Golf and Lacrosse teams while participating in National Honor Society and LEO Club. He is on the 4.0 Honor Roll and has received numerous Student of the Month Awards for a variety of different courses. Dolan is a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish, is involved with the Adamstown Community Days

Planning Committee and volunteers for PA Pitstop Dog Rescue. Dolan plans to attend college and pursue a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Quentin, husband of Ellen Martin Good, Waterloo, New York; four daughters: Robin, wife of Leonard Zimmerman, Denver; Averrill, wife of Andrew Brubaker, Loysville; Angela, wife of Joel Meyers, Elizabethtown; and Sarah, wife of Tyler Burkholder, York; 28 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Ervin, husband of Joyce Good,

Lititz; and four sisters: Arlene, wife of Irvin Zimmerman, Savannah, New York; Lois, wife of Raymond Hurst, Denver; Lorraine, wife of Wilmer Reiff, Annville; and Kathryn, wife of Harlan Hoover, Fleetwood.

He was preceded in death by a son, Derrick Lee Good.

Harry E. Haas, 80, husband of Lois E. Kohl Haas, New Holland, passed away on Monday, January 23.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons: Brett E. Haas, New Holland, and Kent A., husband of Erin Haas, Bradenton, Florida; and five grandchildren.

Horst, 102, Lititz, passed away on Monday, January 23.

She was the wife of the late Leroy D. Horst.

She is survived by seven daughters: Edith F., wife of Jay L. Sauder; Elsie M. Horst; Janet B., wife of Roy Z. Martin; Judy B., wife of Glenn M. Hoover; Karen S., wife of Donald R. Weber;

Mary Jane, wife of Ray L. Martin; and Christine, wife of Jay L. Good; 21 grandchildren; 40 greatgrandchildren; three greatgreat-grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Fry.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Richard L. Horst, and Edwin R. Horst; and two daughters, Doris J. Gerber, and Florence Horst.

36th Anniversary

Emma B. Seibel, 79, Leola, passed away on Monday, January 23.

She was the wife of the late David Seibel.

She is survived by two stepsons: D. Lamar, husband of Janet Seibel, Vineland, New Jersey, and Glenn, husband of Doreen Seibel, Canon City, Colorado; two stepdaughers: Marilyn, wife of Frank Martin, Guatemala, and Eileen, wife of Lamar Garmen, Stevens; 33 stepgrandchildren; 164 stepgreat-grandchildren; 31 step-great-great-grandchildren; four brothers: Henry Martin, Elkton, Kentucky; Sam Martin, husband of Anne Martin, Shelby, North Carolina; Lloyd Martin, New Holland; and John Martin, Narvon; and a sister, Lizzie, wife of Amos H. Stauffer, Stevens.

Edward R. Sensenig, 83, husband of Brenda, Ephrata, passed away on Monday, January 23.

Besides his wife, he is survived by four daughters: Wendy, wife of Jeffery Shupp, Ephrata; Kelly, wife of Lois Sensenig, Ephrata; Stephanie, wife of Wayne Shenk, Ephrata; and Heather, wife of Gary Nissley, Morgantown; 11 grandchildren; and 11 greatgrandchildren.
