Cynthia “Cindy” Stoots
Shank, 59, wife of John P. Shank, Lititz, passed away on Friday, April 21.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her mother, Linda L. Stoots (Hummel); a son, Zachary J. Shank, Lititz; and a daughter, Emily
M. Shank, Lititz
Terry L. Stuber, 75, Ephrata, passed away on Friday, April 21.
He was the husband of the late Theresa J. Nutter Stuber.
He is survived by two daughters: Denise, wife of Scott Johnston, Denver, and Cheryl Stuber, Lititz; and three grandchildren.

Weaver, 96, Luther Acres, Lititz, passed away on Friday, April 21.
She was the wife of the late Ervin R. Weaver.
She is survived by a son, Robert E., husband of Anke (Pingen) Weaver, Cologne, Germany; and a daughter, Susan K., wife of Rev. George M. Minick, Lititz.
Diane Marie Hoover, 52, wife of Greg Hoover, Lititz, passed away on Saturday, April 22.
Five Our Mother of Perpetual Help (OMPH) School seventh grade students participated in the North Museum’s Science and Engineering Fair on Thursday, March 9 at Millersville University. They were treated to dinner at the Millersville Cafeteria and a tour of some of Millersville’s science and engineering buildings. At the Awards Ceremony, the following OMPH School students were presented with awards: Lucy Kowitz
(second place: plant science, junior division); Amelia Atkinson (third place: plant science, junior division); and Cristiano Pereira (third place: physical science, junior division). Amelia and Cristiano also won auxiliary awards.

Jean Jacobs, 94, Lancaster, formerly of Lititz, passed away on Saturday, April 22.
She was the wife of the late James Jacobs.
Emma B. Riehl, 93, New Holland, passed away on Saturday, April 22.
She was the wife of the late Elmer L. Riehl.
She is survived by two sons: David E., husband of Drena McLellan Riehl, Mountville, and LeRoy A., husband of Dana Armbrust Riehl, New Holland; two daughters: Linda R. Shank, Lititz, and Kathryn S., wife of Keith G. Wilson, Leola; a foster daughter, Dr. L. Ruth Whisler, wife of Ken Kuntzelman, Yuma, Arizona; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; two brothers: Daniel, husband of Emma Ebersol, Lititz, and Alvin, husband of Mary Ebersol, Bareville; and two sisters: Ruth, wife of Ben Stoltzfus, Ephrata, and Rebecca Lapp, Gordonville.
Shirley C. Bare, 86, wife of Mervin H. Bare, Landis Homes, Lititz, passed away on Sunday, April 23.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters: Sharon, wife of Chuck Gillenwater, Ronks; Donna, wife of Kevin Spurri, Leola; and Vickie, wife of Henry Rittenhouse, Leola; 11 grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; and a sister, James Sweigart, Lancaster.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffrie and Jerry Bare.
Heather L. Allison, 40, wife of Robert J. Allison Jr., New Holland, passed away on Monday, April 24.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her parents, Allen W. and Diane L. Boughter Beamesderfer.
Calvin Jay Yoder, 70, husband of Lavina Yoder (Hoover), New Holland, passed away on Wednesday, April 26.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters: Heidi Pixley, wife of Nathan, Glenside; Dorothy Yoder, Philadelphia; and Becky Boll, wife of Jason, Pittsburgh; four grandchildren; two brothers: Cletus Yoder, Columbus, Ohio, and John Yoder, husband of Alice, Silver Springs; and three sisters: Janet Beiler, wife of Ben, Oxford; Martha Stoltzfus, wife of Lester, Honeybrook; and Rose Dietrich, wife of Ken, Slatington.
Nutrition Voucher Program Dates
Lancaster County Office of Aging is pleased to announce kick-off dates for distribution of the 2023 PA Department of Agriculture Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program. Each eligible participant will receive (one time) $50 in vouchers to be used at approved farmers markets to purchase Pennsylvania grown fruits and vegetables. Vouchers are available for use until Thursday, November 30, 2023.
To be eligible, Seniors must be age 60 by Sunday, December 31, live in Lancaster County, and have household income less than $26,973 for one person or less than $36,482 for two people. Seniors living in Personal Care or Nursing Homes are not eligible.
Office of Aging Senior Centers will have the vouchers throughout the summer until they are gone.
If a senior can’t go to a location on the kick-off day, the vouchers will be available afterwards at Senior Centers during normal business hours. Vouchers are available for
