• LEGO Creation ClubThursday, August 10 at 6:00 p.m. Once a month, build themed creations out of Lego® Bricks that will be displayed.

• All Together Now: Summer Reading WrapUp Party for All Ages - Saturday, August 12 at 2:00 p.m. All are invited to join the library for an endof-summer party! There will be food, music and fun. The Library Systems of Lancaster County’s BOOKMOBILE will be there! All ages welcome. They will be celebrating the achievements of participants in their summer reading programs for children and adults, but all are invited to the party, no matter if you did a summer reading challenge or not!

• Hooks and Needles: Yarn Craft Club - Monday, August 14 at 6:30 p.m. Are you crafty with a needle (or two)? Would you like a little company to talk shop with while you knit or crochet? Join them at the Library! Beginners welcome! They’ll get you started on your first project. For adults.

• Buckhill Sleuths’ Book Discussion - Monday, August 28 at 2:00 p.m. All are welcome to join the Buckhill Sleuths’ Book

Discussion Group for scintillating conversation about mysteries and thrillers.

• Teen SummerZineJoin the library via Zoom for their third annual Teen SummerZine program!

Guest authors and illustrators will encourage and inspire writers, artists, and readers ages 12 to 19, providing information about their own creative process as well as prompts, opportunities for sharing and feedback, and publication in their library catalogued zine! The end product is a print magazine, and a copy will circulate at each of the 16 libraries in Lancaster County. The guest author for August is: Kwame Ivery. • Preschool StorytimeEvery Tuesday 10:30 a.m. Preschoolers are invited to enjoy themed books, songs, rhymes, or movement activities while building language and literacy skills. For ages 3-6, siblings welcome!

• Toddler ThursdaysEvery Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Toddlers will dance, zoom, scoot, and hop between stories selected to promote language development. All adults are expected to participate and encourage the children to join in on the fun. For ages 1 to 3, siblings welcome! • Blanketeers - Tuesdays, August 1 and 15 at 2:00 p.m. The Blanketeers meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. They get together to socialize and create blankets of various kinds for Project Linus. Project Linus is a volunteer non-profit organization that created handmade blankets to give to children who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need of new handmade blankets. Project Linus welcomes blankets in all styles, including quilts, tied comforters, fleece blankets, crocheted and knitted afghans. No registration needed. • Tai Chi Easy - Tuesday, August 1 at 6:30 p.m. A blend of Qigong and common Tai Chi movements, Tai Chi Easy is designed to improve the quality of life for all people. Tai Chi Easy is an evidence-based health intervention that works for any population. It uses slow and careful movement without strain to strengthen the body’s own healing forces and is medically proven to support disease prevention, accelerate healing, and reduce stress. A blend of gentle movement, breath and meditation. This class can be practiced standing, walking, sitting in a chair and even lying down. All abilities welcome. Register online.
