Annie Claire My youngest daughter, Gracie, loves to dance. She’ll throw on a costume and no matter who is around start dancing with so much confidence, it’s scary. Honestly, she has to get her moves from me because dancing is not her daddy’s favorite thing. Her technique (and gracefulness) could use a little work, but she tries and she gives it all she has, everytime. This new lookbook, “Dancing in the Street,” is inspired by the innocence of summertime when we used to worry less and dance more. Chelsey and I traveled to Alexandria, Louisiana to dance in the street (quite literally in many cases) with two best friends who weren’t afraid to give each other a twirl. I hope you enjoy flipping through these styles and choose to dance more this season!
Chelsey When you get the chance to see two best friends interact so comfortably together during a photoshoot, you know you’ve planned something right. “Dancing in the Street,” SoSis’ 12th lookbook, is one of my favorites simply because the photos feel so natural and fun. It also doesn’t hurt that I’m obsessed with all of our new arrivals! Our journey with SoSis so far has been a bit of a dance. Since October 2014, Annie Claire and I have been each other’s dancing partner learning new moves from one another and trying to stay one step ahead of the competition. Sometimes, we have to move slow and sometimes we need to pick up the pace. No matter what routine we’re learning, you can bet we’re trying to become pros!
