If you work long hours and hate the thought of grinding through a wet, overgrown lawn every weekend, when you should be having fun, you might consider hiring a lawn care service to take care of the chores for you.

Like everything else, mowing jobs can be both good and bad. A professional Lawn Care Specialist will first consult with you about the desired height of your grass. The standard recommendations, of course, are that blades of grass be three inches high, and that no more than one third be trimmed when mowed. But that’s up to you. HAIR

• Ask your friends and acquaintances about their stylists. If you see someone on the street who has a haircut you admire, don’t hesitate to ask for the stylist’s name.

• Pick a salon with a good reputation and ask for a stylist who specializes in your type of hair, or choose based on what you’ve heard.

• Schedule a consultation, for which the salon shouldn’t charge.

• Evaluate the stylist’s own hair to see if it’s chic and healthy-looking.

NAILS

• Make sure the manicurist’s license is current and displayed.

choose an apartment When you’re looking for an apartment, three components need to fit; you, the apartment, and the apartment community.

When you check out an apartment, check out the company that manages it and staff who come with it. Just as you know a good on site staff can make your life pleasant, so every apartment community recognizes the value of a good resident.

CHECKING OUT AN APARTMENT

One of the first things you should take note of as you drive in to your appointment is the apartment community’s curb appeal. Is the community clean and neat? Is there adequate lighting? Is the landscaping appealing?

An apartment community that takes good care of the buildings and grounds will typically take good care of residents!

Once you arrive try to get a feel for the staff that maintains the apartment community. Is

the staff friendly and pleasant? Are they well informed about the community and able to answer your questions?

When viewing the apartment you should take note of the condition of the entryway and hallway leading to the apartment. Is it clean and orderly? When entering the apartment you should look at the condition of the carpet to see if it looks clean and well kept. Are the walls in good shape? Has the apartment been painted and cleaned since the last resident moved out?

Is the size adequate for your needs? Is there enough storage space? Are there any “deal breakers” as far as the condition of the apartment?
