About
I feel like my art is something that i make to feel calm. That’s the reason nature is my biggest inspiration, I feel alive and at peace in the forest and the archipelago. In the summer when everything is green I don’t feel the need to make much art, but when the winter comes around I personally need to bring the green leaves back into my vision. I guess you could say that’s my motivation, escaping the dark winter months and creating my own summer. I feel the same kind of happiness when I’m weaving a leafy greenwall as when I’m walking in the forest. Weaving and crocheting are my preferred techniques. Even though I’ve only been weaving for three years it just feels right. I feel unstoppable in my big floor loom, like I’m right where I’m supposed to be. Sweden
