Module Development
Stage 4: Hence, the ‘‘C’’ shape wall module was finalised. As it fits perfectly in all the aspects of an exterior wall in the prevailling climate. Here th gap in the wall would be used as storage from inside or lefft as a cavity. In both cases it would give thermal mass to the wall against the heat of the region. And structurally it is th e stable form to work with and construction process also gets very easy, quick and simple. Stage 3: Here the outer surface was made rectangular as form woek would be easy, but still inner curvy face was problem to get best and affordable form.
Stage 2 : Here the thought was to get a self standing and load bearing structural system. It was not taken forward, as again form of this design would be a expensive choice, to make several sets of form work. And this kind of form requres special form material as well.
Stage 1 : Curvilinear wall, as the material selected is mud and building technique is rammed earth so, it would be easy to make self standing curvilinear shapes. Perhaps it requires specially type of form work, so it would get expensive and high tech. Thus this idea was not developed ahead.

Reflection
What I learned? PRE CAST rammed earth walls and projectng mud process. What next? More exploration of mud as modular material What i could have done differentlly? Making process model with mud itself or clay would have helped my design process. More understanding about temperory and permanent nature to building in refugee camp. Devloping more details.
Thank you.
