FRIGHT NIGHT
BY:

A free verse poem It was a spooky, spooky night. And on that night, it gave me a fright. I had gone into a house. But got scared by a mouse.
It went “Boo!” The owl turned its head and said “Hoot?” The trees began to laugh. I ran as fast as a bullet to my bed.
The shadows of the trees danced in the room. It smelled like candy, so I got up. I went down the stairs, which were miles, and miles, long. Even though I was exhausted every step of the way.
It was a spooky, spooky night This house gave me a big fright I ran out the door “I’m not coming to this house anymore!”
