For many years the Master in Fashion Design has been covering the different fashion goods areas, but in 2006 - next to it - has been created the Master in Accessories Design, devoted to the accessories world. The Department proposes an integrated approach between creative, cultural, productive and marketing aspects. This is possible through a constant dialogue with the experts operating in those sectors. PRODUCT DESIGN DEPT. OVERVIEW The Design Department of Domus Academy arises from the awareness that today the design world needs more complex design solutions, able to integrate different disciplines and particular research perspectives, in order to properly answer to the current vision of the global and delocalized production world. Designing, producing, promoting and marketing a product or a service in the post-industrial society of information, requires designers with very specific skills, able to dialogue with different players and to handle the market following non-conventional rules.

The objective of these courses is to give participants the unique opportunity to investigate specific themes from a different cultural perspective in the lively frame of the city of Milan, the Italian avant-garde capital of Business, Design and Fashion, and in close collaboration with Domus Academy, one of the top 60 Design schools of the World (Business Week charts).
ART EXPERIENCE First launched by Domus Academy in 2004, ArtExperience is a project that develops around the figure of a major artist from the contemporary art scene through workshops reserved for a restricted number of participants and a number of special events dedicated to the public at large. The first three editions were held in Venice, and were sponsored by Telecom Progetto Italia. Other editions boasted the collaboration of a number of diverse partners, including: the Milan Triennale, Santralistanbul, the Istanbul Biennal and others. Right from its very beginning, ArtExperience’s cycle of events and workshops was characterized by the aim of identifying and rendering visible several of the most interesting focal centers of contemporary creativity through unusual and innovative pairing of concrete practices with diverse languages.
