Learning Style Difference

Young adults who have a HS Diploma or equivalent More hands on Program with more practical content amounting to half of HOI and HOII (delivery pattern is 3 weeks theory, 3 weeks practical). Students also receive upon graduation from HOIII an Associate Degree in F & B Operations as cannot receive SHA Diploma until completion of internship.

Students can chose three different paths: Entrepreneurship, Finance or Marketing. Students can also do an honours route if they have an average of 7.5 at the end of HOIII and maintain 7.5 during BBA.

No specific paths to the degree. Features subjects such as Golf and Spa Management, Timeshare & Condominium Management that take advantage of the resort location ‘Costa del Sol’ in southern Spain.

BBA is Gen. Mgt route and BA is for the concentrations in Tourism, Finance, HR or Marketing. Honours in all.

Hospitality students who do not begin on this track are able to switch to the ESE program after S1. Well suited to someone who prefers these concentrations offered. Honours on all.

24 Students with a hospitality background and/or business degree wishing to study a Masters with a focus on hospitality, tourism and service industry in marketing or leadership. If a student has 3 years of work experience and a degree=to 180 ECTS, they could be eligible for additional HES Masters of Advanced Studies diploma by completing additional credit within study year and receiving HES recognized and NEASC recognized award.

24 Those wishing to become faculty in hosp. schools or work in Human Resources or training function in a hospitality/tourism company.

24 Students with a hospitality background and/or business degree with minimum three years experience.

Students complete a teaching skills development at GIHE working with teachers while taking their courses at the same time. Part time students must complete this program within 6 years of registration. Bachelor degree not necessary with appropriate work exp. and post sec. ed. Research project and study abroad for one week as part of program.
