Caution!
Farm House
MH - 02 The Indian Fusion Café The café is located in Andheri, Lokhandwala near infinity mall, designed based on a theme of - “Suburbs of Mumbai”. As the name Caution!
truly suggests, the idea was to create glimpses of the travel life in the suburbs of Mumbai. The concept is achieved using various graphics, colour scheme for the lights and furniture details.
“Light - is the magical ingredient that makes or breaks the space. I chose to keep it simple yet wacky enough to complement the theme.
Graphics- speak for the space. Here, the aim was to repaint the travel memories of every Mumbaiite.
Colour Pallette
Yellow, Green and Red - the very bold colours of our traďŹƒc signal became part of all striking feature in the cafe, backed by a subtle pale e of light brown/ wooden texture.
Elements
Story - “All these graphics used, not only create an ambience but a story that people live while enjoying their titbits. The café narrates a story about the hustle bustle that city faces and rejuvenates the pride of Mumbai Suburban . ”
Caution!
Farm House -
Farm House
“My Grandparents’ farmhouse” place that is really close to my heart, situated in Nashik in the midst of a vineyards. Every space renovated here has a different ambience and a unique story to tell. The colour palle e is such that every room has its own identity, yet being a part of one continued architectural language all along the house.
Prayer Room - Elements such as faux wood raers, arches, window details, glass etching for false ceiling are used to bring about an essence of a temple.
Living Room- space that welcomes every person entering the house. Brightly painted white walls and centrally placed textured pastel peach wall, wooden photo ames, brown leather sofa - all together sparkling under the chandelier form a calm and composed space for all .
“Chandeliers - are marvels of drop - dead showiness, the jewellery of Architecture. - Peter York
Vintage themed Lounge - Entertainment / Get - together space for guests, family members.
Blend - The room is elegantly dressed with an apt combination of textured red wall, metallic gold false ceiling and transparent chandelier. It portrays a perfect blend of vintage furniture such as tape recorder, bullock cart, etc with modern art - complementing each other to bring about harmony in the space. Justifying the taste of residents, this space personiďŹ es royalty.
Master Bedroom - designed in a contemporary style with a slight touch of vintage. It's a composition of wooden ooring with an elegant set of furniture .
Colour Scheme - Pearl blue textured paint on the wall with furniture highlighted in white and tinges of red on the switch is the scheme used here.
Irani Cafe The café is located in Kalyani Nagar, Pune - one of the IT hubs of the city. “ Elegant yet Affordable - is what the decor clearly spells out. This project demanded a detailed study of history of Irani cafes, their art and craſt materials. The walls of the café narrate a story of Iranians shiſting to India and building their own set of cafes. Elements such as mirrors, carpets, tea vending machine, creative plates and ame form an important part of the wall elevations.
Form of elements and Colour Pallette played the most significant role in defining the café as Irani Café.
