A Snapshot of the Life and Times of Terrance Lemont Brown Sr. On Saturday, September 08, 1973 a bouncing baby boy entered the life Susanna Burrows and Leslie Brown. He was affectionately named Terrance Lemont Brown aka Teddy. He grew up in the small community of Little Creek Andros with his grandparents. He started his early education at Deep Creek Primary School. He later transferred to Nassau in his junior year and attended C. H. Reeves Secondary School until transferring to the R. M. Bailey Senior High School where he graduated in the year 1992. Terrance was an extremely dedicated worker; shortly after he graduated he began working at Super Value, later on at Taco Bell, Comfort Suites and lastly Atlantis Paradise Island as a bartender. Terrance was loved by many, and he enjoyed making people laugh and took extreme pride in his job and activities. Over the course of his life, he fathered five wonderful children of whom he loved dearly. Terrance loved music especially drums. As result, he participated with many groupings such as; the M.R.F Church musicians, Agape Church Musicians, Shield of Faith Church musicians, Ira Storr and the Spank Band, Gabo and the Boys band, Saxons Junkanoo group and lastly the Genesis Junkanoo group. The Genesis group became family to him and they quickly became his passion. Throughout his later adult years, Terrance started to experience difficulties with his health and in 2017 was officially diagnosed with heart failure after attending specialists in Orlando Florida. In June of 2018 his health further declined but with much determination he strived to pull himself back up and continued to work and provide for his family whom he loved dearly- despite numerous hospitalizations. On Friday, September 14, 2018 at 2:52pm while surrounded by loved ones he slipped away at peace with God and man. He will forever be missed by his family and friends. Must I be carried to the skies On flowery beds of ease, While others fought to win the prize, And sailed through bloody seas?
(Chorus) And when the battle’s over We shall wear a crown! Yes, we shall wear a crown! Yes, we shall wear a crown! And when the battle’s over We shall wear a crown In the new Jerusalem Wear a crown (wear a crown) Wear a crown (wear a crown) Wear a bright and shining crown; And when the battle’s over We shall wear a crown In the new Jerusalem.
Are there no foes for me to face? Must I not stem the flood? Is this vile world a friend to grace, To help me on to God?

Recessional Hymn……………………………………………………“It Is Finished” There’s a line that is drawn through the ages On that line stands an old rugged cross On that cross, a battle is raging To gain a man’s soul or it’s loss
The earth shakes with the force of the conflict And the sun refuses to shine For there hangs God’s son, in the balance And then through the darkness he cries
(Chorus) It is finished, the battle is over; it is finished, there’ll be no more war It is finished, the end of the conflict; it is finished and Jesus is Lord
Yet in my heart, the battle was still raging Not all prisoners of war had come home These were battlefields of my own making I didn’t know that the war had been won
On one side, march the forces of evil All the demons, all the devils of hell On the other, the angels of glory And they meet on Golgotha’s hill
Oh, but then I heard the king of the ages Had fought all the battles for me And that victory was mine for the claiming And now praise his name, I am free.
At The Cemetery
Hymn…………………………………………………………………………….“When Peace Like A River” When peace, like a river, attendeth my way, when sorrows like sea billows roll; whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say, It is well, it is well with my soul.
My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought! My sin, not in part but the whole, is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more, praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!
(Chorus) It is well, it is well, With my soul, with my soul, It is well; it is well, with my soul.
And, Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight, the clouds be rolled back as a scroll; the trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend Even so, it is well with my soul
Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come, let this blest assurance control that Christ has regarded my helpless estate, And hath shed His own blood for my soul. Prayer……………………………………………………………................………Minister Sterling Moss Committal……………………………………………………………............……Pastor Howard Stuart Hymn of Committal………………………………………..................…………“The Eastern Gate” I will meet you in the morning, Just inside the Eastern Gate. Then be ready, faithful pilgrim, Lest with you it be too late.
If you hasten off to glory, Linger near the Eastern Gate, For I’m coming in the morning; So you’ll not have long to wait.
(Chorus) I will meet you in the morning; I will meet you in the morning Just inside the Eastern Gate over there. I will meet you in the morning, I will meet you in the morning, I will meet you in the morning over there.
Keep your lamps all trimmed and burning; For the Bridegroom watch and wait. He’ll be with us at the meeting Just inside the Eastern Gate. O the joys of that glad meeting With the saints who for us wait! What a blessed, happy meeting Just inside the Eastern Gate!

Tribute to our Father: “Daddy” Each day you strived to live and your body too weak to be, Your love will live forever since your heart has set you free. Now you walk so bravely and you feel the pain no more. Angels have come to guide you and bring you to heaven’s door. Memories we hold so dearly, your smile warmed our hearts. Through our lives you will live as you have touched so many parts. Hard days may be before us but it’s all a part of god’s plan and I know he will see us through. Why you left so soon we may never understand. You will be alone no longer and you will tell us (Don’t be sad). Please believe you were no burden, we will always love you daddy! Our lives have changed forever, since the day you past away. In heaven you will be waiting, to meet us again someday. We miss you daddy – Terrance Jr., Clair, Tiaja, Chianna & Trevon.
