Trow
A small flat bottomed boat that was generally made in Wales, with a removable mast so that the trows could go under bridges. These boats could be found, in the past, on the Wye and Severn rivers transporting goods. Their most popular route was from Wales to Bristol and back.
The first mention of the name The Llandoger Trow was in 1870, when the deeds changed hands from James Taylor Ball to Mary Hamlyn.
