Kevin Raymond Kevinraymond317@gmail.com Richard Fiumara worked for AT&T as an accounting manager in North Carolina after graduating and retired after 32 years of service. After a brief retirement, he went back to work temp jobs, including six years as an accountant for an air conditioning company. Rich and his wife became grandparents and like to spend high-quality time with their grandchildren. Richard turned 80 on May 9, but accepts certain accounting principles as 80 years old is the new 60 years of age! Richard Holmes reports that in the past year, two amazing great-grandchildren were born into his family, Alani Rose Holmes and Colette. Thank you for sharing with all of us. Beautiful babies and names!

Paul Twardy twardy.paul.f@gmail.com Mike Flanagan started coaching a high school girls varsity lacrosse team in Ojai, California last year. Congratulations to John Glynn, who received the Fr. Benjamin Kuhn, OFM Award for Service to Siena as part of our reunion observance. Well done, you. We continued to celebrate our 50th reunion — as one part of Reunion Weekend, the Alumni Relations Office gave us a Zoom presentation that featured photos of life on campus as we knew it. The way we were. Recollections and tales of life of campus ensued. With apologies to Mr. Shakespeare, “We few, we happy few, we band of brothers…”
Those of us who participated were: Richard Ahl, Mike Flanagan, Al Kovanis, Ritt Schiano, Bob Sharkey, Mike Shine, Larry Stenson, John Ullrich OFM, Grant Lehman, and John Glynn. On June 6, a limited crowd of socially distanced alumni gathered at the grotto for Mass. I represented our class. Mark your calendars for the weekend on November 12-13. It’s Homecoming Weekend. Various sites around downtown Albany will host gatherings as Siena’s basketball season begins. This will be a good opportunity for local and out-of-town alumni alike to come together to celebrate. Let the next 50 years begin. After several years as class correspondent, I am stepping aside. It has been a pleasure sharing Class of ’70 news and helping keep us together as we have traveled through the decades. Pax et Bonum.
