TRIVIA NIGHT GAMES & SPORTS

DESCRIPTION & PURPOSE:

Trivia Night brings current association members together, allows them to connect, all while playing a game that is reasonably easy to follow. Trivia Night allows attendees to have elements of community, fun, and competition.

AGENDA:

• 30 MINUTES FOR ARRIVALS AND CHECK-IN

• 2-3 HOURS FOR TRIVIA

• Trivia can be played individually or as a team. One possible idea for trivia teams is initiate classes.

• Trivia categories include various topics like SAE, sports, movies, pop culture, history, etc.

• Trivia questions and answers need to be created in advance and displayed. Kahoot is an easy way to have a premade trivia game where everyone can play on their phones.

• Someone will need to host the trivia night and ask the questions. Someone can also create a PowerPoint/presentation with questions.

• Prizes should be available for the winner(s).

Technology

• Determine what technology equipment is needed. This includes a projector, screen, computer, microphone, speakers, music, etc.

Food

• Consider offering light refreshments. The association can cover the cost of food and beverages or attendees can pay cash/bring a dish to share.

Fundraiser

• This event can easily become a fundraising event if you include tickets to attend as a donation.
