Entertainment

• Secure a speaker that your group would enjoy and learn something from.

• If your event has a presentation, ask your venue about the option in your space. You may need to budget for audio-visual equipment rental and support from an AV company.

• Have the venue or AV company play music during arrivals and lunch prior to the start of the presentation.

Miscellaneous

• Consider providing name tags for your attendees.

• Seating chart - If you are assigning tables, you will need to provide escort cards. Table numbers should be displayed prominently on each table. Ask the venue if they provide table numbers.

• If your speaker has agreed to take questions and the room is large, then you will need to have a microphone for guests to use.
