Sustainability at Sigma

At Sigma, sustainability is a fundamental component of our business strategy. We continually strive to develop opportunities to promote a vision that favors sustainability across our operations and to recognize the commitment of our employees to the company’s sustainable growth.

Global Forum

In 2021, Sigma’s Global Sustainability Forum brought together more than 2,000 employees from all our geographies to learn about our main achievements in sustainability. We had guest speakers who talked about the

challenges we face as society and how we can join forces to achieve the company’s 2025 Sustainability Goals.

Annual Challenge

As part of the company’s Global Sustainability Forum, we conducted the Sigma Sustainability Challenge during which employees proactively adopt actions in favor of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

More than 500 employees and their families participated in the fourth edition of the challenge, contributing more than 920 actions in favor of the environment and the community, including food donations, initiatives to promote quality education, and awareness regarding reduction in plastic consumption, among others.

Monthly Newsletter

We aim for our employees to develop an attitude that favors sustainability in everything they do and in the decisions they make. Through our Sustainability Newsletter, we share information concerning our main sustainability initiatives and the results we have achieved as a company,

we recognize the work of those employees who, acting as agents of change, make our sustainability achievements possible, and we invite all of our employees to continue advancing new initiatives.

SDG Friends

We continually share relevant information with our employees to raise awareness about the global challenges we face. Through the SDG Friends campaign, we encourage

employees to contribute to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in their daily lives.
