EDITOR’S NOTE
from SiGMA Issue 21
by SiGMA Group
The year is off to a good start. Active across 6 key markets, there’s a spring in our step as we look forward to our second event in this year’s lineup - Dubai. In tandem with this we’re upping production, with new issues planned to complement each of our international debuts.
Our cover story for this issue spotlights Alex Riddick, the face behind Traffic Devils. He shares his success story, offering sage advice to those looking to get their feet wet in the affiliate industry. Follow his personal journey from page 52.
We also took an in-depth look at some of the projects behind our charitable arm - the SiGMA Foundation, including their recent inauguration of a school in Ethiopia. In April they’ll be returning for their 4th Camino de Santiago expedition, followed by plans to summit Morocco’s Mount Toubkal in May. More about this and how you can contribute on page 19.
With Betsson celebrating their 60th anniversary this year, we sat down with Pontus Lindwall for a celebratory interview to mark this milestone moment. He discusses the immense potential for growth and innovation within the gaming industry and more on page 23.
Following the success of our inaugural launch in Kenya this January we also caught up with Kenya Betting Control & Licensing Board members, Frederick Mbasi, Judy Kirichu, and Esther Argwings. Starting on page 40, we examine the licensing application process, future plans to regulate online gambling, and how the Board hopes to gain more autonomy as its role evolves.
Now to the customary round of thanks. To Group Founder, Eman Pulis, the force pushing forward all our best laid plans, to Rocco and Robert for bringing the stories between these pages to life, and to the content team - the backbone behind this issue.
