WELCOME and THANK YOU for Attending the 2020 BUCKEYE ALPACA SHOW
Dear Exhibitors, Vendors and Guests, Welcome to the 16th annual Buckeye Alpaca Show! As our industry continues to evolve, the Buckeye Alpaca Show has become much more of an “Event” featuring the prominent breeders from the Eastern US, our largest vendors of alpaca garments and accessories, and extensive corporate sponsorship which has led to highly successful fundraising for programs at OSU, College of Veterinary Medicine. We all look forward to “Spring” as it offers us the opportunity to show-off our new creations, be they alpacas or the latest in fashion designs. It is with great excitement that we have organized this year’s “Event” to be much more than a halter show. This is your time to network with one another, to meet Robin Gifford, the new executive director of our National Breed Association – AOA, and to promote your alpacas to the public. We will be jazzing it up on Saturday night with fun Exhibition classes with substantial cash purse! Be sure to bring some $10.00 bills to the meet & greet! You will want to get in on the fun at hand! Our line up of both Breeder Sponsors and Corporate Sponsors is the BEST ever! To thank the many sponsors of the show, we have designed this color program that you can keep on your coffee table and peruse for the rest of the year. Our Live Auction on Saturday night will feature the opportunity to purchase items that you need on your farm – be it a generator to ensure that you never lose power, tools of the trade, nutritional supplies for your alpacas, the latest in fashion for you and your home, or the opportunity to breed to highly sought after herd sires. The fundraising efforts at this year’s show will support the 2020 Camelid Veterinary and Owner/Breeder Conferences at Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Continuing our mission to support education, medicine and scientific research in the camelid industry, the next bi-annual conferences will be coming up soon, May 15-17, 2020. Jeff Lakritz, DVM will be working with the show on Friday CVI check-in and will fill you in on the details of how this ongoing program will support both you and your veterinarian with the latest in alpaca health and management knowledge. We are immensely grateful for your continuing support of the Buckeye Alpaca Shows and our industry! Mary Reed Event Manager and Trustee, Buckeye Alpaca Show, Inc.

The Tooth-a-Matic Tooth-a-Matic's claim to fame "Safely trim 6 alpaca teeth in 3 seconds!!" "The Alpaca Breeder's Favorite Tool" 2-time National Champion sheep shearer, Darren Kennedy, uses the Tooth-a-Matic when it comes time to safely trim alpaca's teeth in world record speeds!. *********** Over 1800 units sold all over the world, The Tooth a Matic has become the modern alpaca breeder's best friend since 2003. The Tooth a Matic requires only 1-Person to perform the trimming of teeth . I proudly proclaim this is the MOST EFFICENT tool our industry has ever known, saving an estimated 4,000 man hours per year around the world benefiting from the 3-4 second TAM trims vs. the 4-5 minute dental work when ob wire, dremels, and tranquilizers are used. Allow the Tooth-a-Matic to safely cut your alpacas teeth while YOU are protected from breathing in harmful tooth dust into your lungs. The Tooth a Matic encapsulates much of the dust in it's enclosed cavity, NOT in your lungs.
