I would sit in the usual comfort or swing by in between the branches as the wind takes me to slumber

I would usually stare at the ceiling with the deafening silence and calm mind or just scribble another poem, and hope to finish before the clock ticks its short hand

By the time I fall asleep I can hear nothing but –the chirping of birds the rustling of leaves I can hear nothing but –the sound of silence and perhaps, I am rested.
