Week 1: June 2-6

BASEBALL CAMP

Campers will be taught proper instruction and drills to enhance the skill level of each individual. Campers will be instructed in fundamentals including: pitching, hitting, infield, outfield, catching, base running and bunting. Silverdale coaching staff and high school team members will assist the athletes in proper baseball techniques.

VOLLEYBALL CAMP: ELEMENTARY

Silverdale Seahawk Volleyball Camp takes the energy and excitement of this great team sport and puts it all together into one fun-filled camp! All aspects of the game are taught through drills and exercises that focus on passing, setting, hitting and serving. We will also incorporate essential life-lessons such as teamwork and sportsmanship.

NATURE CAMP

In nature camp we will explore creatures and their habitats in the world around us. Topics include pollinators in the garden, freshwater fish in Friar Branch Creek, and so much more. Camp will be hosted outside on SBA campus, rain or shine. Be prepared to get dirty and possibly wet!

ACT BOOTCAMP: JUNE

This class is an intense review of each subject on the ACT. Students will be participating in mock testing and learning personalized testing strategies, how the ACT is scored, and time management.

SOAR CAMP

At SOAR Camp, students will have the opportunity to explore outdoor adventures and recreation activities while learning about God's beautiful creation. Possible activities include a guided canoe trip, stand-up paddle boarding, hiking on beautiful trails caving, and rock climbing! All skill levels are welcome, from beginner to experienced, so come learn a new skill or try a new adventure!

DANCE THROUGH THE AGES: GRADES 3-5

People around the world have been dancing since the dawn of time! In this camp, you will be learning different styles of dance throughout the ages.

WEIRD SCIENCE CAMP

Calling all scientists! Join us for a fun-filled week at Weird Science Camp. Campers will explore various science concepts such as chromatography, chemical reactions, physics, and more through hands-on experiments, creative projects, and STEM challenges.

TIDES OF CREATIVITY ART CAMP

The SBA Art Department invites you to experience a fun-filled week of celebrating Creation through sea life-themed projects. Artists will experiment with different media to create drawings, paintings, prints and more.

PIRATE PARTY MUSIC CAMP

Ahoy Matees! Join the pirate crew as we set sail on a musical adventure searching for treasure in the Bible!

PRESCHOOL SOCCER CAMP

Your child will have a ball learning the basics of soccer with Coach Hannah Thompson. Campers will work on dribbling, passing, and learn the value of team work.

Week 2: June 9-13

FOOTBALL CAMP

Silverdale coaches will be laying the foundation for these “up-and-comers” who will ultimately become the starting varsity players in the years to come. Players will learn the fundamentals of playing football including tackling and blocking. We also lay the groundwork to teach them basic concepts of the offense and defense for the upcoming season. Most importantly, we will teach what it means to be a Seahawk football player and represent Christ through the game of football both on and off the field.

SOFTBALL CAMP

Our goals: to teach basic fundamentals for new players to the game and use those same fundamentals to develop skills for players who are more advanced. The campers will be instructed by some of the best players from this area. We want to focus on the entire game of softball which includes all positions on defense, hitting instruction from both sides of the plate and base running. The camp will not only offer individual instruction, but a strong emphasis on teamwork and team goals. Each day will include a testimony from one of our camp leaders, coaches or a guest speaker to share how Christ has impacted their life.

DANCE THROUGH THE AGES: GRADES K-2

People around the world have been dancing since the dawn of time! In this camp, you will be learning different styles of dance throughout the ages.

CAN YOU DIG IT? A GARDENING & HOMESTEADING CAMP

Come learn the basics of Gardening and Homesteading! This camp is dedicated to teaching about God's creation and learning from how our Creator made and supports all of nature. We will get down and dirty in our raised garden beds, learn the basics of homesteading, and learn about farm animals through hands-on activities. Campers will get to design their own outdoor work apron and will even get to take home their own plant. Come expecting to get a little dirty!

SOAR ON THE WATER: AN INTRO TO PADDLE SPORTS

SOAR on the Water is a four-day camp that introduces campers to some of the water sports available in the Chattanooga area. Over the course of the week, campers will stand up paddle board (SUP), kayak, canoe, and raft. Mrs. Inman & Mrs. Schroyer have 30 years of experience in whitewater kayaking and canoeing. Both ladies are SBA educators and have taught and led many paddling groups on flatwater and whitewater trips. In the past, Mrs. Inman was a certified lifeguard instructor, and Mrs. Schroyer was a professional whitewater kayaker and competed nationwide. We’re looking forward to sharing our passion for the outdoors and SOARing on the water with our campers.

SURVIVOR CAMP

Calling all survivors! Do you think you have what it takes to be the sole survivor? Can you outwit, outplay, and outlast the rest? If you are a Survivor fan or you think you have what it takes to win the game, claim your spot in Survivor Two now! Brush up on your survivor game and prepare to compete for the title of the first Silverdale Survivor.

ART PARTY!

Calling all artists! Come explore your creative side and join us for a fun-filled week of painting. Campers will be guided by local artist Lesley Austin to create their own one-of-a-kind masterpieces worthy of space on your walls. Mrs. Austin will nurture campers' natural artistic inclinations and weave scripture into each lesson.

Campers will be painting with acrylic paints each day so dress for mess.

SPACE EXPLORERS CAMP

Blast off into adventure at Space Explorers Camp! This exciting, new space-themed camp invites campers to embark on a cosmic journey filled with hands-on crafts, fun activities, and out-ofthis-world learning. From building your own rocket ships to discovering the mysteries of the universe, campers will explore the wonders of space while sparking creativity and curiosity. Join us for an unforgettable week of intergalactic fun!

MS/HS THEATRE CAMP

Come join us for a week of learning about building strong characters and storytelling. This workshop style camp will concentrate on audition preparation, script analysis, and using the actor's voice and body for dramatic performance.

PRESCHOOL OUTDOOR ADVENTURE CAMP 1

Wonder at creation and worship the Creator! Campers will enjoy being in nature, playing in nature and creating art with nature. We will make ephemeral art, which is art that is temporary due to its materials and location (i.e. sand, dirt, sticks, chalk on footpaths). We will also create good old fashioned mud pies. We will get up close and personal with various animals brought to us by wildlife experts. This entire camp will be conducted outside on SBA grounds, rain or shine. Children will need to plan on getting dirty and dress appropriately for the outdoors.

Child must be completely potty trained. Child must be 3 by January 15, 2025.

PRESCHOOL ART CAMP

Let's Get Messy!! Come for a week of fun at our preschool Art Camp. This week will give your child a chance to explore their creativity while having fun. It is also a great way to develop their fine motor skills.

SOCCER CAMP

The purpose of the Silverdale Baptist Academy soccer camp is to meet the demands of the beginner as well as the more serious soccer player in a fun, safe, Christian environment. Playing experience, although helpful, is not a requirement. We will focus on improving the technical skills of one on one defending, passing and receiving, dribbling, and finishing. Tactically, we will focus on defending and attacking as a team, off the ball movement and finishing with proper pace and placement.

CHEER CAMP

Bring a friend or bring more than one! Come see why cheerleading is so much fun! Cheer camp is a fun filled week that will focus on building skills at all levels. Cheerleaders will work on team building skills including proper technique, motion skills, stunts, cheers/chants, tumbling and dance.

CULINARY KIDS COOKING

CAMP

Ready to whisk up a culinary adventure? Join us for a funfilled week at Culinary Kids Cooking Camp. Each day will be filled with fun, hands-on activities as we build on new culinary skills and techniques. Junior chefs will learn knife skills, reading and understanding recipes, measuring, keeping a clean work station and more!

FISHING CAMP

Join us for Fishing Camp with SBA’s very own Outdoor Ed Director, Coach Al Rogers. Coach Rogers and special guests will share their knowledge, experience, and love of fishing with us. Campers will identify different species of fish and learn about their habitats. learn which fish to keep and which ones to release, learn a variety of fishing methods and techniques to reel in the BIG ONE, and learn how to clean and cook their catch.

Week 3: June 16-20

3D & APP DESIGN CAMP

Using Trimble SketchUp, campers will start with creating simple 3D shapes, then combine them into simple models such as a futuristic cityscape and a Rubik’s Cube. They will progress to more sophisticated techniques to create a house with a swimming pool, and finally imagining and designing their own 3D project and showing it off with an animated walk through. Don’t miss this opportunity to jump into the world of 3D design! Campers will also learn how to be an app developer and create their own smartphone apps. They will learn the essentials of designing and programming a mobile app using an intuitive, easy to use platform that’s perfect for first-timers and loaded with features for the more adventurous!

PRINCESS MANNERS

TEA PARTY

All young ladies should grasp the fundamentals of good manners. What could be more delightful than learning through a princess tea party? Throughout the week, we will focus on mastering introductions, setting the table, and enhancing our princess skills. Additionally, each princess will engage in craft activities to prepare for our tea party.

On Friday, we will host a royal tea party to celebrate all the skills we've acquired during the week. Princesses will be treated to tea, fruit, chicken nuggets, and cupcakes. Campers can bring a stuffed animal, American Doll, etc, we will use these to practice our introductions.

If you love making slime, moon sand and mud pies, this summer camp is for you. We will explore and make things to learn and stimulate our senses.

BOYS BASKETBALL CAMP: ELEMENTARY

Boys Basketball Camp emphasizes sportsmanship and teamwork while being taught all aspects of basketball. Whether your son is a beginner or has played basketball for years, our camp centralizes around providing boys the opportunity to improve their game and have fun at the same time. This camp will include (but is not limited to) topics and drills that help improve individual skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, games, and an array of defensive principles.

CAMP MOVE-IT

At Camp Move It, we like to move it, move it! Join us for a week of outdoor games like kickball, frisbee, obstacle courses, noodle tag and giant tic-tactoe just to name a few. Each day will begin with a bible devotion, warm-up exercises and stretches followed by a variety of games and outdoor fun to keep you moving! We will have a theme each day and kids are encouraged to wear a t-shirt for that day’s theme. The last day of camp will be a day filled with water games! As we have fun playing games and moving, character qualities such as teamwork, sportsmanship and determination will be emphasized.

SUMMER CRAFT CAMP

Grab your friends and join us this summer for a week of creating. Each day we will learn about our Creator and His love for us as we create together. We’ll make memories as we use our creativity to make keepsakes and artwork. Whether you are naturally talented at creating or not, you won’t want to miss it!

MINECRAFT BUILDER

EXTRAORDINAIRE

Come join us for some fun in Minecraft as we explore and create in a creative, engaging and intuitive environment. In this camp, children will bring the real world into the digital one building with blocks in Minecraft Education Edition. Minecraft Education Edition is an immersive game-based learning platform that promotes creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving in an immersive environment where the only limit is your imagination. Students will start by completing mini-challenges to develop and sharpen Minecraft skills. They will then design and build landmarks, zoos, and ski resorts as they ‘bridge’ those skills in multi-player worlds!

AMERICAN GIRL DOLL SUMMER ADVENTURES CAMP

Based on the life story of Summer McKinny, American Girl’s 2025 Girl of the Year, this camp will be full of pet care, baking and crafting fun for your American girl! Bring your favorite doll and/ or stuffed animal each day and join us for a week of creativity and adventure. Bringing an American Girl Doll is not a requirement and any doll, baby doll and stuffed animal is welcome to camp!

PRESCHOOL CHEER CAMP

Go Team Go! Your little one will learn the basics of being a cheerleader, build self-confidence, and enjoy fun crafts in this fun-filled camp led by SBA Cheer Coach Miss Nola Greene.

CREATION CAMP

Campers will be challenged in fun hands-on activities designed to develop problem-solving skills, foster creativity, and build fine motor skills. Campers will also enjoy free-play sessions that will encourage them to unlock their imaginations!

ARCHERY CAMP

Draw. Aim. Shoot! Come join SOAR Archery Coach and certified NASP instructor Liz Woodard for a week of Archery Camp. Using the Genesis compound bow and real arrows, students will learn the proper safety and mechanics of archery by target shooting.

GIRLS BASKETBALL CAMP

Silverdale Girls Basketball Camp is a great way for your child to learn about the game of basketball. Whether your daughter is a beginner or has been playing basketball for the majority of her life, she will have a great time at our camp and will be equipped with the tools to help her become a better basketball player. Much of this camp's focus is on the fundamentals of the game. This camp will include (but is not limited to) topics and drills that help improve individual skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, and an array of defensive principles.

This camp will be directed by the High School Head Girls Basketball Coach, Victor Underwood, and assisted by other SBA basketball coaches as well as former Division 1 college athletes.

CAMP CREEKSIDE

Love being in the creek? Join us for Camp Creekside and experience creek life like never before! Campers will spend the week exploring and learning about the Friar Branch Creek that meanders through the SBA campus as well as the creatures that live within. Campers will learn about microorganisms, ecosystems, creek health, and creek stewardship while engaging in fun, hands-on activities. We'll will hear from local experts, use cool creek equipment, do lots of exploring, and safely catch and release organisms.

MATH CAMP (3 DAYS)

Are you looking for a program to bridge the gap of summer break so that your child can be confident and prepared for next year's curriculum?

Goals of Math Camp:

ƒ Strengthen skills so that students can be confident for the upcoming school year.

ƒ Show students that math CAN be fun through hands-on application of various grade level math skills.

ƒ Equip students with activities and resources so that the love of learning will continue even after camp is over.

KAMP KINDERGARTEN

Students will get a peek into what it is like to be a kindergarten student at SBA! They will get to experience what it is like to learn in a kindergarten classroom. The day will be filled with reading and math learning games and activities. Each student will leave the camp with tools to practice over the summer to give them a jump start to kindergarten. Students will see that learning is a joyful time and it will spark their excitement for the new adventure that lays ahead!

READING CAMP (3 DAYS)

Are you looking for a program to bridge the gap of summer break so your child can be confident and prepared for next year’s curriculum?

Goals of Reading Camp:

ƒ Strengthen reading comprehension and fluency skills so that students can be confident for the upcoming school year.

ƒ Facilitate excitement and a true love of reading through teacher readaloud; computer activities; fluency practice; and quiet reading time.

ƒ Equip students with activities and resources so that the love of reading will continue even after camp is over.

OCEAN ADVENTURES CAMP

Dive into the wonder and mystery of the deep in this ocean themed camp. Campers will engage in a variety of captivating activities, games, and crafts inspired by the deep blue sea. Through daily handson experiences, we will learn about fish, creatures, and other life under the sea. Don't miss out on this exciting camp... It promises to be an ocean of fun!

CAMP GOODNESS AND GRACE

Grades: 5th–8th // Cost: $145 // Time: 1:00–4:00 p.m. Week 5: July 14-18

Young ladies will dedicate the week to an in-depth exploration of subjects relevant to preteens. These topics include discussion of Proverbs 31, character development, table etiquette, conversation skills, hospitality, and leadership skills. Participants will engage in interactive and handson activities designed to build confidence and cultivate essential life skills. Through role-playing exercises, they will practice graceful introductions and learn how to navigate social situations with poise. We will focus on the art of hosting, where they will plan a mock event, complete with invitations, menu selection, and decor. By the end of the week, these young ladies will not only have improved their etiquette and leadership skills but also gained a deeper understanding of their personal values and how to reflect them in everyday interactions.

PRESCHOOL FINE MOTOR CAMP

Strengthening your child's small hand muscles is very important for all kinds of early learning tasks including, cutting, writing, drawing and painting. Your child will love this camp that will engage them in various fun activities that will help strengthen their fine motor skills.

Child must be 4 by January 15, 2025.

PRESCHOOL OCEAN ADVENTURES CAMP

Join us as we explore the wonders of God’s creation beneath the surface of the ocean. Campers will dive into a variety of fun activities and crafts inspired by the deep blue sea while learning about the creatures within. Ocean Adventures Camp promises to be waves of fun!

Child must be 3 by January 15, 2025.

MATH MASTERY

Math Mastery: Geometry/Algebra II (9th–12th Grade): 2:40–4:00 p.m. Week 5: July 14-18

Every summer, upcoming Silverdale middle and high school students are expected to complete the Math Mastery program for their upcoming math class. Math Mastery is considered 'summer reading' for math, and allows students to focus on mastering basic skills they have learned previously and will use extensively in their upcoming math class.

For those who would like the instruction, guidance, and accountability of a teacher to complete the summer Math Mastery program, SBA offers a Math Mastery Camp for each middle and high school math course.

The camp meets 80 minutes each day. The camp will be taught by SBA 6th grade Math teacher, Mr. Josh Schoening and SBA High School Math teacher, Mr. Jon Henderson. Each Math Mastery lesson and worksheet will be completed during the camp. When registering, look for Math Mastery and your child's upcoming course.

This camp is designed for SBA students only. No refunds for missed classes.

CAMP PREK-5

Up and coming Pre-K 5 students will experience the daily schedule routine of the SBA PreK-5 classroom while exploring writing and cutting skills with age-appropriate tools. Campers will also explore their new playground and surroundings. Your child will look forward to coming to our Pre-K 5 classes because they will remember their wonderful experience during camp.

Camp PreK-5 is designed only for students currently enrolled in the SBA Pre-K 5 program for Fall 2025.

6TH GRADE BOOTCAMP

Campers will be given a crash course in what 6th grader life looks like. They will learn the basic in and outs of 6th grade and how to use tools that 6th graders will use regularly like canvas. This is a great camp for all rising 6th graders at SBA.

This camp is designed for upcoming SBA 6th graders only.
