OUR NEW OCEAN-GOING DRESS CODE POLICY

Having listened carefully to our guests’ feedback, we have enhanced our Dress Code policy to offer more flexibility –while, preserving the high standards you would expect from a leading luxury travel brand.

This simplified Dress Code was first introduced on Silver Nova. It was so well received that it is now being applied to our entire ocean-going fleet. We hope it meets with your client’s satisfaction.

What has changed?

Our dress code policy on all ocean-going ships is now simpler. There are now only two types of evening to pack for: ELEGANT CASUAL (the same as before) or FORMAL OPTIONAL (replaces our Formal and Informal options)

CURRENT DRESS CODE:

During the day, casual wear1, similar to five-star resort sportswear, is suitable for most activities. It is recommended to wear flat or low-heeled shoes on deck.

After 6 pm, our Evening Dress Code applies; jeans, shorts, sneakers, or flip-flop-type footwear are prohibited in indoor spaces.

THREE EVENING TYPES:

1. Elegant Casual: Ladies may opt for trousers, a blouse, skirt, or casual dress. Gentlemen may wear an opencollar shirt and slacks. A jacket is optional2

2. Informal: Ladies may choose to wear a dress or pantsuit, while gentlemen must wear a jacket in all indoor spaces. The tie is optional

3. Formal: Ladies may choose an evening gown or cocktail dress. Gentlemen should wear a tuxedo, dinner jacket, or dark suit with a tie. Adhering to our Elegant Casual dress code is also welcomed, but a jacket is still required for gentlemen when indoors.

FORMAL NIGHTS PER SAILING:

• 9 days or less – 1 Formal night

• 10 to 14 days – 2 Formal nights

• 15 days or more – 3 Formal nights

1Casual wear is always suitable in outdoor venues. 2Gentlemen dining at La Dame are required to wear a jacket.
