2017 Our idea behind the proposal for the cabin on the Amber Road is strictly related to the Latvia’s tradition of huts. The first board explains this relationship: we took the different shape of two roofs to combine them in a new contemporary image of this typology and, at the same time create a strong and recognosable logo. Also the will to arrange the cabin in a position related with the forest/path and the sea, have influenced the name and the placement of our project. As a matter of fact the title of the creation is Vidū - in between, to express the development of the spaces between these two main elements. Group: Angeli Silvia, Angrilli Sophie

2016 - 2017 The Biwak is a shealter for alpinists who love the contact with nature and beautiful sights; so that the project allow them to “discover” mountain’s landscape through different views. One main and two secondary windows capture various “Frames” of the landscape and invite people to see that into different lights (the windows are north-east and north-west exposed). The inside, made of wood, has a net fixed on the top of a staircase shaped with cavities where people can sit or sleep. Group: Angeli Silvia, Angrilli Sophie, Arning Maren

Maquette, 1:10 The Model has been done with the use of the CNC machine in order to cut the inner wooden structure. Black paper cutted by hand has been used for the facade.

“T(h)ree House” 2017 T(h)ree House is a modular, transportable, cute house. The module is composed by three units containing three actions (living, washing and sleeping). Each unit has its own height, in order to correspond with a different attitude. Moreover every unit has its own window! The units together create a dynamic shape which can be easly transported and built; dealing with a moltitude of contexts in different weather conditions, all year long. T(h)ree House is entirely constructed using wood. The loadbearing frame structure keeps together the natural insulating material, as well as the external facade made with wooden panels. T(h)ree House can be expanded. The modules can be added or removed in different ways and forms; for example if the house is mirrored, one of the two bathroom’s units can easly became a fabulous sauna!

Starting from the typical elements of the house (roof and chimney), the project wants to recreate a familiar atmosphere inside the forest.
The ground floor is integrated with the surrounding nature thanks to glass walls.
The only forniture of the Pavilion is the “Barcelona Chair” by L. Mies Van der Rohe, from where people can rest with the nature around in front of a chimney. Group: Angeli Silvia, Angrilli Sophie

2016 - 2017
Project’s goal is to show and help the huge problem of high suicide’s rate among young people (6-24) in the city of Tokyo. Individualistic culture, lack of people’s care and strong competition inside the educational system are driving young people to develop strong feelings of anxiety and pressure to stand out in order to gain a position in the world of work. Our project wants to offer young people a place where they can freely develop their personal skills and socialize. In order to point out the real suicide’s rate. the facade is assemblated with wooden-cube-module according to the average of monthly suicides. Group: Angeli Silvia, Angrilli Sophie

2018 Once upon a future time, all the glaciers began to melt. Ice turned into water and the land surfaces floated. After many years of struggle for survival, the human race decided to embrace the aquatic life. That time was the time Giudecca arose. Structured as concentric circles, the new colony expands from a central fire, used as a “foro” for the community. The public spaces (kitchen, storage, relax area and thermae) are developed all around it, as well as the plantations of both terrain and aquatic species which are ment to provide nutrition for the 20 inhabitants of Giudecca. Water is brought inside the built by a canal system used as potable water. Another circle hosts the night’s cells and the rudimental and biological toilets. The last ring is the stables’ one, each colony has its own cows, pigs, goats, sheep, chickens and turkeys. The Giudecca prototype is located in front of the Seven Sisters, a white cliff on Sussex’s cost; although the colony can be repeated all over the world by changing vegetables and animals’ species. “ N a h i d e e n �, Redevelopment
of the
Erft River
2017 The aim of the project is to develop a strong connection amog the Erft River, located on the west side of Cologne, Germany. This project will help the quality of life in this area since the two open-cast-mines will be closed in the next 10 years. We have worked on three scales, starting from a general plan in 1:50000, we focused on two zooms where we created two different kind of town in continuity with the river itself. 2019 The urban strategy for the area along Olona river begun with the description of diferent aspects of the area (nature, water system, infrastructure, SWOT analysis). The strategy itself focuses on some goals with the aim to give a better working condition to the many factories along the zone; and to improve the quality of the natural area (since pollution caused many problems). In order to verify the strategy in another scale, we focused on the municipality of Vedano Olona, developing a new structure of connections across the main places of the municipality. These connections include the two former factories, arranging a project for the reuse of one of the them, a paper factory. 2018 Working with the standard of the life cycle assesment, the project concerns a building placed in via Sant’Agnese, Milano. The building has to be flexible in order to be converted from housing to offices, vice versa. In parallel with LEED ITACA and LCA parameters, we have worked on the structure and materials; realizing the best stratigraphy in terms of performances, choosing from existing products. Starting from the scale 1 : 100, we continued with 1 : 50 and 1 : 20, detailing the drowing progressively. 2018 - 2019 The original complex, composed by elemetary school, kindergarten and middle school, had been destroyed by a strong earthquake; today only the elementary school can be reused. The project wants to organise the three buildings opening a big soccer field. In front of it, the middle school includes a sport center with swimming pool and basketball field; possibly used by all the city. The classrooms of the middle school are located at the first floor of the structure composed by two main blocks and a covered walkway between them. On the ground floor are located also some art atelier. The kindergarten is divided by age (0-3 / 3-5) and every class has the access to the garden. We mantained the elementary school adding a small theater on the outside and locating a music school in a part of the structure. Group: Angeli Silvia, Angrilli Sophie

2018 The villa is placed in a small town close to Milano; the project is made for its reuse and renovation. The first step was to give a new function to this noble villa: the choice was to adapt it to be a boarding house with common spaces for all the town. A map of materials and degradation has made for the facades, showing the suitable action for it to be done. Some part of the slab have been solified and the rooms reorganised. 2018 Fondazione Magnani Rocca is an influential museum in the countryside close to Parma, unfortunately it’s disadvantaged because of the lack of public transportation, so that the turnout has decreased. The project is an extension of the museum in the center of Parma, created to show part of the collection (composed of important pieces of art) and increase the fame of the foundation. The museum has a circoular shape, containing an expositive ramp with the paintings on the flat sections. The top of the exposition is a terraces, creating an outside theatre connected with the history of the center of Parma. Group: Angeli Silvia, Falconi Claudia, Milone Silvia
