Metaphysics Terminology 2 -Esoteric Glossary- Sílvio Guerrinha ©

Introduction

This book involves in-depth research, conducted over the last ten years, from various books, websites, documentaries, and studies on a variety of topics. I cover subjects such as metaphysics, parapsychology, paranormal, ufology, occultism, transhumanism, spiritism, conscientiology, alchemy, gnosis and quantum physics in order to create one of the most complete glossaries possible. I include new and little-known terminology as well as display varied themes that complement each other, creating a correlation between them. The book is a tool to help you understand words and phrases that are used in other books and on my website www.spiritualmatrix.com

About the author

Sílvio Guerrinha was born in 1979 in Portugal. He has been a writer and researcher on spiritual topics since adolescence and is considered a spiritualist, a metaphysicist, a cosmopagan, and a cyber-shaman. He is also a freelance graphic designer and web designer. Sílvio has studied and practiced spiritualism and occultism since he was 17 years old. He learned about chakras, mesmerism and mediumship in a spiritist center in his city: Sines, Allan Kardec's Spiritualism. He studies and practices meditation, Egyptian magic, psychic development, crystal healing, remote vision, metaphysics, tarology, and dowsing, among others. To solidify and test his own knowledge, he completed an online parapsychology course of 150 hours on June 8, 2018, at the Center of Excellence. The author doesn't use ghostwriters or PLR (Private Label Rights) books to write his own texts. He doesn't use pseudonyms to hide from his real name. In 2018, he published an improved second edition of "Chakras, Crystals, and Chromotherapy," and in 2019, he published "Metaphysics Terminology" in Portuguese, as well as four new books. You can find his books at Amazon.com and Scribd.com. Sílvio is also the author of websites such as www.sekhmhealing.com, www.vivendonamatrix.com, www.spiritualmatrix.com, among others.

Aaru: The "Sekhet-Aaru," or simply "Aaru," was the Egyptian equivalent of the Elysian fields (meaning reed fields).

Abductee: An abductee is a person who has been taken involuntarily by aliens onto their craft and then returned. Unlike a contactee, who receives telepathic messages or has encounters with free-will aliens. See also: Transdimensional molecularization.

Abhasan: In Hinduism, the power of creation, the experience of having created some external visible objects. Co-creation.

Abiding Presence: The Spirit of God, which permeates everything.

Absent Healing: Healing at a distance, term used in Parapsychology. The same as Reiki, Ra-Sekhi (Egyptian healing), quantum Healing. Deeksha healing. Remote healing.

Accelerated Thinking Syndrome (ATS): Term coined by Psychiatrist Augusto Cury. Too much information to which we are exposed causes a hyper-construction of thoughts so quickly that it wears out the brain and the mind. There is a phenomenon called automatic memory registry (AMr) that happens when people overestimate data without thinking about it. This makes the mind into a data storage. Therefore, the energy that should be destined for the muscles and other organs is consumed by the brain, making the person feel physically and mentally depleted. It is estimated that 80% of the population currently suffers from this syndrome.

Accumulated Consciousness: The sum of everything said, thought, done, or seen, whether consciously or unconsciously.

Acosmism: The spiritual belief that the entire physical and metaphysical universes are illusory.

Adept: An Adept is someone who has studied and mastered (and continues to study) a magical system. From the Latin “Adeptus”, meaning "he who obtains or succeeds".

Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP): A secret UFO and potential threat investigation project, funded by the US government, started in 2008 but was made public in

December 2017. The initial funding was $22 million. The program began in DIA, the Defense Intelligence Agency. The Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program produced a 490-page unpublished report detailing alleged UFO sightings around the world over several decades. The program was led by a US military intelligence officer named Luis Elizondo. It is officially known by another name, Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications (AAWSA).

Aeon: An “aeon” (or Eon) is a billion-year period of time. "Aión" was derived from Greek and meant "life," "vital force" or "being," "generation," or "a period," though it was commonly translated as "age" in the sense of "age," "forever," or "timeless." In Neoplatonism, Platonism, and Gnosticism, it is a power existing from eternity; an emanation or phase of the supreme deity. In Greek mythology: Aion is a hellenistic deity associated with time. In Sanskrit, a long period is called “Kalpa”.

Aether: Quintessence. A substance supposed to occupy all space, is postulated to account for the propagation of electromagnetic radiation through space. Related: luminiferous ether, astral light, “archaeus” from Gnosticism, thelesma from Hermeticism. Read also dark Energy.

Affirmations: Health Affirmations and Declarations for Manifesting and Creating What You Desire.

After-Death Communication (ADC): A phenomenon in which the deceased communicates with a living person. Types of ADCs reported include sensing a presence, hearing a voice, smelling a fragrance, feeling a touch, visions, or physical signs and symbols.

Agartha: The Inner Earth. A reality field which exists between the Earth and her parallel double. Agartha would be associated with the hollow Earth theory and the sacred city of “Shambhala”.

Agent: Someone who communicates with others through telepathy. The individual who is the focus of poltergeist activity (also: focal person). Percipient: a person who receives impressions in an ESP test. In remote viewing, this is the person who attempts to influence a target system by mental means.

Aion: Aion (Greek: Αἰών) is a Hellenistic deity who is associated with time, the orb or circle that encompasses the universe, and the zodiac. The "time" represented by Aion is unbounded, in contrast to Chronos, as empirical time divided into the past, present, and future. In Latin, the concept of the deity may appear as “Aevum” or “Saeculum”.

Akhu: “Shining ones,” spirits in nature, including the elevated souls of humans, the ancestors. Related: Manes.

Alaya: It is unenlightenment and a neutral state, which belongs to the category of mind and mental events, and it has become the foundation of all karmas and ‘traces’ of “Samsara” and “Nirvana”. But is sometimes referred to as the “Akasha”, “Anima mundi” (Psyche Kosmou), the soul of the world itself.

Alignment: The process of harmonizing two or more things. Thus, a person might align himself or herself with a deity, energies, a planet, etc.

Alchemy: Alchemy is a practice that combines elements of physics, medicine, semiotics, mysticism, spiritualism, art, chemistry, anthropology, astrology, philosophy, metallurgy and mathematics. The alchemists were famous for transmuting metals into gold (there is no certainty about this), but all element names were symbolic and coded. I believe that transmutation is interior and symbolic, that is, the human being transmuting his inner energy into gold, to evolve spiritually into a kind of spiritual alchemy. The alchemists also made medicines. Alchemy was practiced in Mesopotamia, ancient Egypt, the Persian Empire, China, India, classical Greece, the Roman Empire, the Islamic world, pre-Columbian Latin America, medieval and renaissance Europe. In Egypt, the God Tehuti

(Toth) was considered wise and alchemist, the Greeks called him Hermes Trismegisto (The three times great). It is believed that the word alchemy is derived from the Arabic “al-Khem”, which means chemistry, originating the term alKimiya. It is believed that “al-Kimiya” means “transmutation through Allah”. In Greek, “khemia” was the art of transmuting metals. Note that the terms “Khem” or “Kemet” always refer to ancient Egypt (meaning black lands of the Nile, or land of blacks), sometimes abbreviated to “Kamit” or “Kmt”.

Alien Hybrid: A human that was abducted by aliens who altered his DNA, and it has both human and alien DNA mixed. A clone made by aliens.

Alien Hybridization: The implanting and genetic manipulation of human consciousness by oppressive aliens.

Altered States of Consciousness (ASC): Also known as Non-ordinary States of Consciousness. Non-ordinary perception. An altered state of consciousness is a temporary change in one's normal mental state without being considered. Altered states of consciousness can be intentionally created (meditation, trance, etc.).

Altjeringa: Dream Time. The Dream Time, Altjeringa or Alcheringa, is a sacred period in Australian aboriginal mythology during which totemic ancestral spirits form the Creation. Many indigenous Australians refer to the time of Creation as "The Dream". Dream time has set living standards for aboriginal people. "Dreaming" existed before the life of the individual begans and continues to exist when the individual's life ends. Aborigines believe in two forms of time, two parallel chains of activity. One is the daily objective activities, the other is an infinite spiritual cycle called "Dream Time", more real than reality itself. Whatever happens, dream time establishes the values, symbols, and laws of aboriginal society. It is believed that some people with spiritual powers (Shamans) have had contact with Dream Time.

Alpha and Omega: This symbolizes all that God is: spirit and matter. The beginning and the end, and all that lies in between. But I think it is not a good definition, as eternity has no beginning and no end! The universe exists only in a potential state. All that exists is consciousness, the unlimited pure being (Purusha) and the unmanifest, Brahma, the Immutable absolute, which has neither beginning nor end. Alpha and Omega represents indeed the Macrocosm (Alpha) and the microcosm (Omega).

Alternative 3: It was the title of the final program broadcast by the English channel Anglia Television in 1977 as part of its science report series. Reputable journalists and testimonials from scientists conducted the program. The last episode revealed a secret US and Russian program for the elite to colonize Mars (this would be the alternative 3). The second alternative, for example, would be to build bunkers and underground cities on Earth. Although skeptics claim that these projects do not exist, NASA is still very interested in exploring Mars and also Elon Musk and his company Space X; they know that Earth is doomed because of pollution and climate change.

Anamcara: Anamcara (pronounced ahn-im-KAHR-uh) is an ancient Gaelic word that means "soul friend.". Anam means "soul" and “cara” means "friend". In ancient times, the Celts created the concept of Anamcara as a life counselor and spiritual guide. The Celts believed that the AnamCara could be a friend, a companion, or spiritual guide.

Animatism: It is a similar concept to animism. Some mistaken authors and websites say that objects are considered living and feeling people, but this is wrong.

The true concept of animatism comes from ancient religions and holds that any object, animal, or thing has mystical energy. This energy was known as "mana" in Polynesia; for Hawaiians, mana was divine power; and in Buddhism, manas is the mind or the mental capacity to think, that is, the true concept. Related: Hylozoism, Panpsychism.

Anchor: Typically, an object, but sometimes also a place or person, to which a person has a strong connection and can find, connect with, or astrally travel to with ease.

Ankh: This Egyptian cross has many meanings; it's the cross of Life. A Kemetic symbol that means and represents life through the union of man and woman. Egyptian gods are frequently depicted carrying it by its loop or holding one in each hand, arms crossed across their chest. Ankh was often carried by Egyptians as an amulet, either alone, or in connection with two other hieroglyphs that mean "strength" and "health." It is a potent protection symbol (or amulet, in physical form), it's more ancient than the Christian cross. The ankh has three aspects, each of which is highly symbolic. The first is the T cross, which represents matter among other things. The “Shen Loop” is the teardrop on top of the cross that represents spirit. The third aspect is the “Shen Knot”, which binds the spirit to matter.

Ankh was also an amulet for the process of anchoring the gods (Neteru) light. It is believed that ANKH is composed of 4 letters that are the initials of four deities, Amen, Nun, Kek, Heh Amen (or Amen-Ra, Amun Ra). The occult, hidden sun (when it is night). Nun: The first waters of the universe, the quantum vacuum, and energy. Kek: It symbolized the darkness, the one that brings the night. Heh: God of Infinity and of Time.

Anti-Universe: It's a concept that many scientists support. Our universe is almost entirely matter, but a vast invisible part is anti-matter and dark matter. Cosmologists say that the Big Bang must have produced an equal amount of anti-matter. One theory goes that an entire universe of anti-matter could exist on the edge of our own. Sometimes we confuse dark matter with anti-matter and dark energy. Dark matter accounts for only 23% of the universe, while dark energy accounts for 73%. Dark energy is repulsive (the opposite of gravity) and helps in the expansion of the universe. An anti-universe does not mean that it is negative, but rather that everything is reflectively inverse, as in a mirror universe. For example, different astronomical laws, inverse gravity, antimatter, and being invisible instead of being visible, etc. As particles and objects may be in quantum entanglement at a

distance, it is possible that this antiuniverse was also entangled with ours. Read also: Mirror matter.

Akh: Our light body in ancient Egypt (Kemet).

Alcyone: Alcyone is the brightest star of the Pleiades, and one of only nine stars in the cluster to have been given a name. Some Mayan legends refer to Alcyone as the “Great Central Sun” around which our solar system would rotate. In Greek mythology, Alcyone (Halkyóne) was the daughter of Aeolus, either by Enarete or Aegiale. She married Ceyx, son of Eosphorus, the morning Star.
